In comparison to this, Diesel Stuff was kind of decent, though 🤔

To be fair, diesel stuff was an okay addition when you consider the overall gameplay of TS3, unlike this abomination no one asked for.

Ale the Hedgehog I wanted to hate Diesel stuff, but I use at least half of the men’s clothes on every sim so I have to say it’s one of my favorite stuff packs for CAS. Build/Buy was trash, though.

It was not good a idea to partner with Moschino. Most people who play the Sims are teenagers, and obviously their parents aren’t paying 200-300 dollars for one piece of clothing. The adults who play the Sims have to pay bills and you know, actually do adult things with their money. It was just a bad idea and this pack was a bad idea. Should’ve included it in Get Famous.

I did, i just never cared for overpriced crap clothing.

I did. But I’ve always followed and liked fashion, especially because after I hit puberty I gained a lot of weight from PCOS. And this is was in the early ‘00s before shops Torrid. And to love fashion but have to walk past cute, higher end (but not always, any price range really) looking clothing in Juniors or even maybe Petites, I had to walk to the Women’s section where everything was made for middle age mom and grandma. So I wore jeans and a t-shirt almost every day because it felt more humiliating to have to wear clothes somewhere meant for women DECADES older than me. When I went to THE Rodeo Drive of Beverly Hills, the most I could look at were shoes and MAYBE a Ralph Lauren polo. I’m not saying we could afford much of anything on Rodeo (didn’t stop us from going into Armani, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Tiffany, etc - though I did buy some Coach shoes as the brand is barely a “luxury”, “high end” brand if you go by pricing on quite a few of their pieces), but I still missed the opportunity to AT LEAST try on the brands I idolized, or had found a gem discounted enough to be affordable, like the Coach shoes I mentioned - the were only $108. But we were willing to fork out the money on them because they’re 13 years old and still look new and are comfy as hell. The most expensive things I own aren’t even clothes - one is a Tokidoki handbag that was about $150 (I have another that was about $90, and another that I don’t remember the price of), and a necklace from Swarovski that was $150 (with my own this time) that was “Alice in Wonderland” themed as the first Disney love action had just been released.
But like I said - not big on fashion, probably won’t know it. Especially as you won’t see their stores in your average city - you have to live in big fashion, entertainment cities like LA, New York, etc. to even COME ACROSS these stores. And they’ll be in the bougie malls that I’ve only stepped into once or twice because even though my city is 500,000+ people, we are an agricultural city. Hell, we just wish they’d give us an IKEA.
And if you really love fashion like I do - you already know the shit is going to look kind of weird, but a lot of their clothes are A LOT more plausible to wear somewhere other than a runway, because I have seen some collections where I’m like: “There is NOWHERE, not even the rich people, can wear that and not look stupid.” I am happy though because I lost 160 lbs and after about 16 YEARS, maybe one day I can buy these designer clothes, but at least until then my simself can. 🤣
Oh, and they were hot somewhat within year or so because they did a limited collection makeup collaboration with Sephora where it came inside a giant golden bear. Since the bear is associated with the brand to a degree.

CometandFlyProductions 11 i personally love the rustic theme of the pack along with the amount of items we got, and i think those who like the laundry feature probably feel like it makes the game feel more like a life simulation? i’m not too sure, i don’t ever really use the washer and dryer myself but i do use a ton of the bb and cas items

Well, actually, I don't think that this pack is unnecessary. You should think about console players who can't download whatever clothes they want with CC. They can't just go on a website and download clothes and custom jobs for their game. This pack will add new clothes and a career for them to use. Next time, think about them maybe.

@@slytherinpride1291 they focused island living on the traditional polynesian culture (which is greatly appreciated) rather than tourism. i would have been extremely disappointed if they would just shoehorn hotels in just for the record like they did with the mermaids. they did a good job on the building mode items and creating a "polynesian" feel to the world but did an extremely bad job with mermaids. so i'd rather wait for a dedicated *_good_* and *_well thought-out_* game pack with hotels that can fit any world than have ones like in sims 3.

I think the community is making a big deal over everything again, as usual. It's just a stuff pack and not like anyone is forcing them to buy all the packs. People always cared more about expansions and game pack as they are the ones with game play.

@@foreverdreamwithinadream6871 Apart from a lot of creators use the stuff packs in builds, or even sometimes sims, meaning if you want your house or sim as intended you should have all the packs; the main menu is designed to make you want to complete and fill in all the squares (which i find highly annoying because mine isnt, but im not paying £40 just so I can have one thing turn blue, some people genuinely will) - and the stuff packs people are mostly outraged about because its £10 for re-used, often low quality, meshes and products. And we're allowed to not be happy with the content here, we're allowed to say "Hey, maybe if youre charging £10 for these clothes, you make them look nice / original, bring something that isnt old products or clearly just a cash grab?"
