lukecheung1996812 The game isn't open world anymore. Therefor absolutely no purpose for cars other then to sit in your driveway and disappear and teleport back on your driveway.

i personally think that the sims 4 having mini neighborhoods is better than a giant map that takes forever to load and causes lag out the ass.

***** 10 seconds... for now, wait until they release larger expansion packs, The loading times for The Sims 3 were extremely long, but they were only one time. They'll soon become a minute, then two, then three, etc. Also the loading screens appear to load anything, the interiors of the lots are already loaded, the other sims are loaded

It's nice to see that the devs have been listening to the community and are actively trying to address the concerns that the players have. This new world was definitely needed. I'm glad it's available for free to all Simmers.

i only knew the sims 4 for like around 2 years now but i feel that we need an another completely empty lot world
(i'm not completely new to the sims franchise, i used to play sims 2)
People are excited that it's free, but they just gave us a world full of empty lots that looks just like willow creek. They put very little effort into this, I'd be upset if it weren't free.

When will the next update be? At the moment I can't get on my game and it's really annoying.
Ok so here's the problem when I get on the game everything is fine, when I click on a world everything is fine, when I then go to click on my house everything is not so fine. The loading screen comes up as per usual but then when it finally loads I go back to world select, no matter how many times I try it will not work. I built a new household that didn't work either. I can't build either, any suggestions on how I could fix this or when the update will be?

Ok EA, you're steadily relinquishing more substance to this me too version of the Sims, but you guys still have a ways to go before I dump my coins in your coffers.
As of now, I'm still heavily invested in the Sims 3; and soon I'll be revisiting my old heavily modded version of the Sims 2.

You should also be fully aware that I'm more than SATISFIED with The Sims. So much so that I require more than just a rehash of past glories with "updated" graphics. Ideally, I'd like EA to manifest more interesting expansion packs and the like so that I can finally begin another crazed obsession with my most beloved gaming franchise....ever.

Always remove your cc before updating your game! Then put it back again. Not rocket science.

Allison Hewitt oh my! I cant even get to the third generation in sims 4! I like switching households alot and checking up on my sims and its a handful!
For months all I did was bounce from family to family, and then I really got into XUrbanSimsX and she kind of inspired me to stick to one family and experience everything with in that one family. But, It was hard getting rid of my 40 or so other safe files, turns out I'm having so much more fun clinging to this one family :D

Honest question to anybody. Hopefully I don't offend anyone with this. I see sooo many people wanting toddlers. What is it about toddlers that make them so special as if the game isn't great unless it has toddlers? Not too long ago I saw fans wanting pool and ghosts (these two are much more understandable imo). Wouldn't something like open world or season be better? (excuse me for being abit biased here as I truly love open world)

That's not a new world...looks just like Willow Creek, just with more lots. Give us an actual new word, like NYC style, or something similar to Veronaville from the Sims 2.

Because it is a neighbourhood within Willows Creek like Magnolia Promenade.
The whole point is to add more space though, hence the reason each lot is blank. It would be silly to have a nice downtown world added with nothing on it.

To all of you saying that toddlers should come next, I sincerely hope that they don't. I've realized from switching to TS4 after dealing with toddlers in TS3 for so long that they are absolutely annoying. I DON'T want to spend like 3 sim days teaching them how to talk, walk, etc. It was just unnecessary.
