Nothing new. Done in Sims 3 when they released Pets and then Chickens and cows under the sims store. You can just about squeeze any object or stuff pack into an expansion or game pack. Why would you? They're running a business not a charity.

This looks kind of fun. But I think the reason why people are complaining a bit is because the sims 4 doesn't have any story progression or any crazy,random, and exciting things happening like in the sims 3 and sims 2. So even though they're slowly but surely giving us what we want, it kind of just seems like no matter what, the sims 4 games just lacks any real fun. At least that's my opinion. I remember how in the sims 3 with or without mods, sims were walking around doing a whole bunch of odd and crazy things. Or how my sims would just be waking around town, then all of a sudden see protesters at the city hall shouting. Or seeing maybe sims at the park performing or singing. Seeing a homeless sim digging in trash cans as well as seeing sims boating and wind surfing at the beach while hanging out. Dealing with burglars and Having cars and Watching sims walk around with their children in strollers. My point is, there was so much depth in the sims 3 and in the sims 2, that no matter how much content they add in the sims 4, it's still just not as exciting and fun as the sims 3 or 2 was. Which is why I think some of us simmers feel as if the game gets boring very quickly. It's another reason why I haven't really played in a while, because I have so many mods in my game to try and make it fun, that I'm barely able to play it without major lag.

Xazeriyah Yah spot freaking on. I'm glad someone said it. The sims lack depth and I become so bored of the game. You just make money and live large with a family. Very repetitive. And I would love to play the sims 3 (I have it but A it loads forever and B my computer doesn't load hair for some reason and I have a really high quality pc) anyways I miss falling in love with who my sims where and their storylines. When I play the sims 4 I feel excited when in the sims cas but the gameplay makes me turn it off and pick a different game.
Miss.Crybaby That's exactly how I feel. A lot of simmers consider our comments complaining, but its just that the sims 4 is lacking so much depth that's it's hard to enjoy. I also try to play the sims 3 but my computer can't really take the lagging so I can't play it like I want to.
I agree with this. This is the main reason why I don't play Sims 4 as much as I did Sims 3 or even Sims 2. It just doesn't seem as fun or as random to me as the others...
Finally! Someone said it! It gets really annoying to read comments like "the community is so negative, always complaining" when people honestly have every right to complain about the Sims 4. Most of us that are playing have played all the sims before it. I still play Sims 2 and I have as much fun as I did when i was playing it 13 years ago. So it's really disheartening to see nothing exciting popping up. I keep seeing stuff like backyard stuff or spooky stuff and wonder why they didn't implement those into a seasons expansion pack instead? Why didn't they take vampires and make a supernatural pack out of that? You can't really say time restraint because the packs don't feel rushed, they just feel like someone went through a checklist. EA has done way better in the past with Sims. I want that genuine feeling Sims 2 had instead of constantly feeling like I'm being played like an accordion pouring out money. I want to see the creative ideas they had for expansion packs that the past Sims games had. They have done better and can do better.

Rosie 01 listen, people are mad because toddlers and pools where things that should've been in the base game from the beginning. Ea is notorious for taking things that should've been in the base game and putting them as dlc or not putting them in at all, and people are getting fed up. Ea is a gigantic company with hundreds of triple a games, they shouldn't be doing what they are doing, but they're doing it because there are some kids who will buy anything with the name sims 4 on it. I bet if they made a standalone stuff pack with 2 toilets and a tv people would say "stop pressuring them and be greatful, they're trying super hard to please us and they can make whatever they want". Ea is a multi hundred million dollars company, these guys aren't some little Indi game group who have like 20 people working for them, there is no doubt hundreds of people working on the sims and they come out with shitty packs like this because they know that blind followers will buy and defend it. Personally, i know i played sims 3 for hours on end and didn't get bored. something about turning into a fairy or mermaid or wherewolf or going swimming in the ocean or traveling on a honey moon and going to college and having cars is just so much more *interesting* to me than sims 4. garlic bred we're ticked off because there were (and arguably still are) parts of the core game experience missing. We only just now got toddlers - two years after launch. I don't blame the sims team - I'm sure they're doing what they can. The oversegmentation of sims 4 feels like marketing gone horribly wrong to me. I love the sims, but I really feel like I'm getting strung along and ripped off. that said if you're having fun with it please continue to do so! All I'm saying is that I can't invest in sims 4 until I get actual evidence that someone in upper management cares about players rather than profit

This looks really cool! I mean, a bit more stuff would be great, but I appreciate the amount of effort and detail put into all of these things. In particular, look at the little girl trying to bowl. She holds it in two hands, like a kid would. Then she throws it forward (like a kid would), losing her balance, and then the bowling ball hits the bumpers, going back and forth, before hitting the pins. The amount of detail put into every little thing is phenomenal. Thanks for all the effort put into the game, Sims Team! :D

Trash stuff pack- Different types of trashbins, trailer shows sims throwing trash into bins of different sizes. The expensive one talks. Green shirt stuff pack- Green shirts of all colours and sizes. Toilet stuff pack- Toilets..... Sink stuff pack- They all have faucets, how incredible. Water stuff pack- Brings in sparkling water and flavoured water, How delicious! Spiky Hair stuff pack Wallpaper stuff pack Floor stuff pack Eye stuff pack- Includes a new eye colour Sofa stuff pack The possibilities to get money are endless.
Ikr the stuff packs are kinda getting trashy I mean like the bowling stuff pack should've been in either city living or get together where I think it would actually fit. But having to pay for just this thing is a rip off for me tbh But so far I haven't been disappointed with the game packs and the expansion packs (Especially vampires gp! I love it) My point is, I wish they'd stop "distributing" single objects into stuff packs where they could've easily added them into an expansion pack. If they release this stuff pack, we'd probably NEVER have bowling in future expansions which If bowling was actually in an expansion it would have a little bit more "personality", just like how sims 2 nightlife had restaurants and they felt like they actually existed more or less.
This is the first stuff pack I bought and I don't regret it at all. The items are pretty, I love the hairs and the clothes too. I sometimes forget I have bowling in my game, but it's just cool to have more things to do; I'm not one to take my Sims out of the house much, so this pack helps with that.

Honsetly, i get some of the complains about this stuff pack, but some of them are just super annoying, like ; Pets : we will get pets eventually, just not now !! Like i dont even get why yall want pets so much, like i didnt dislike it in TS3 but it wasn't my fav by far. Loading screens : this bothers me SO MUCH bc i takes LESS time to go to the place you want. Like in TS3, you needed to walk out of your house and then sit in a taxi doing nothing. And with loading screens, on a avarage pc it takes like 5 seconds which is less time !!!! But believe me, i do get SOME of the comments. Like we have the sims for more than 2 years now and we only have 3 expansion packs. I just think that EA needs to put more work into expansions rather than game packs / stuff packs. But for now yall just need to wait and stop complaining.
I personally think this stuff pack looks like fun. Be patient for Pets and Seasons. It takes time to make an expansion pack, especially if you want it to be good. City Living came out less than 5 months ago. Who knows, maybe they'll announce Pets EP or Seasons EP next month.

Exactly, people don't see Maxis as a independent studio, they see it as EA controls them so they have an infinite budget to work with and should be giving things away for free all the time. Maxis has a budget just like other studios, if they go over they have to cover their costs somewhere else. If Maxis starts loosing too much money EA can actually shut the studio down and then everything they develop is gone.
This is why I love The Sims 4. All the pack types have new gameplay elements in them! With Game Packs and Stuff Packs they're able to really go in depth with aspects of the game. Will definitely be getting this one!

I'm an incredibly dedicated simmer... I own every EP, SP, and GP for both The Sims 3 and The Sims 4.... This is one of the only things that I can absolutely never see myself using. I love the Sims franchise, but I'm fairly disappointed with EA at this point.

Floyd Young if they didn't thought about these kind of stuffs when they're developing get together it means they're not brainstorming enough. It's one of hangout places i could think of when they announced Get Together for it is already shown to us in previous games. I'm not hating their releases but instead giving ideas on how to make the game more enjoyable, and ik they won't listen because it's their Game anyways.

Line Pigen I totally agree. In my opinion these little stuff packs are annoying, I miss when they actually added TONS of the little things they're using to make stuff packs into EPs. Now the EPs don't have as much, they're very basic in my opinion. I just feel like we don't get our money's worth as much anymore.
Remember when sims 3 university came out, this was a little part of that pack but now they sell this by it self? Sry I love sims but this is going to far..
Emy to be fair the Sims 3 had the store with 1-5 items on if that you would buy for like 10$ with your points that you had to go buy at 7-11. I know I really wanted the plants vs zombie set, it came with like 3 lamps and it was nearly 25$can once I looked at buying the points. Sims 2 had stuff packs that literally just put logos on things that came in base game (diesel pack and the ck rip off one), this isn't new. It's what the Sims does and always has. They are working on big eps and they give little packs in between so people don't lose interest. In the s2&s3 the expansion packs were usually about a year sometimes longer apart from the last one, they'd throw in stuff packs every couple months.
Sims 2's stuff packs were actually not that bad, Sims 3 was the one that ruined it with Katy Perry Sweet Treats and Diesel Stuff that were basically recolors. In fact, my favorite Sims stuff pack of all time would probably be Sims 2: Mansion and Garden Stuff.

Or how my sims would just be waking around town, then all of a sudden see protesters at the city hall shouting. Or seeing maybe sims at the park performing or singing. Seeing a homeless sim digging in trash cans as well as seeing sims boating and wind surfing at the beach while hanging out. Dealing with burglars and Having cars and Watching sims walk around with their children in strollers. My point is, there was so much depth in the sims 3 and in the sims 2, that no matter how much content they add in the sims 4, it's still just not as exciting and fun as the sims 3 or 2 was. Which is why I think some of us simmers feel as if the game gets boring very quickly. It's another reason why I haven't really played in a while, because I have so many mods in my game to try and make it fun, that I'm barely able to play it without major lag.

Xazeriyah Yah spot freaking on. I'm glad someone said it. The sims lack depth and I become so bored of the game. You just make money and live large with a family. Very repetitive. And I would love to play the sims 3 (I have it but A it loads forever and B my computer doesn't load hair for some reason and I have a really high quality pc) anyways I miss falling in love with who my sims where and their storylines. When I play the sims 4 I feel excited when in the sims cas but the gameplay makes me turn it off and pick a different game.

I agree with this. This is the main reason why I don't play Sims 4 as much as I did Sims 3 or even Sims 2. It just doesn't seem as fun or as random to me as the others...
Finally! Someone said it! It gets really annoying to read comments like "the community is so negative, always complaining" when people honestly have every right to complain about the Sims 4. Most of us that are playing have played all the sims before it. I still play Sims 2 and I have as much fun as I did when i was playing it 13 years ago. So it's really disheartening to see nothing exciting popping up.
I keep seeing stuff like backyard stuff or spooky stuff and wonder why they didn't implement those into a seasons expansion pack instead? Why didn't they take vampires and make a supernatural pack out of that? You can't really say time restraint because the packs don't feel rushed, they just feel like someone went through a checklist.
EA has done way better in the past with Sims. I want that genuine feeling Sims 2 had instead of constantly feeling like I'm being played like an accordion pouring out money. I want to see the creative ideas they had for expansion packs that the past Sims games had. They have done better and can do better.

I mean, a lot of people complained about wanting toddlers and here they are. Sims 4 isn't that bad, its graphics is better than the other sim games, imo. Complaining about it won't make them hurry up. Also, before toddlers came out, there was a leak. Pets were in there too. You just have to be patient. For now, go play sims 3 if it bothers you that much, tbh.
Rosie 01 listen, people are mad because toddlers and pools where things that should've been in the base game from the beginning. Ea is notorious for taking things that should've been in the base game and putting them as dlc or not putting them in at all, and people are getting fed up. Ea is a gigantic company with hundreds of triple a games, they shouldn't be doing what they are doing, but they're doing it because there are some kids who will buy anything with the name sims 4 on it. I bet if they made a standalone stuff pack with 2 toilets and a tv people would say "stop pressuring them and be greatful, they're trying super hard to please us and they can make whatever they want". Ea is a multi hundred million dollars company, these guys aren't some little Indi game group who have like 20 people working for them, there is no doubt hundreds of people working on the sims and they come out with shitty packs like this because they know that blind followers will buy and defend it. Personally, i know i played sims 3 for hours on end and didn't get bored. something about turning into a fairy or mermaid or wherewolf or going swimming in the ocean or traveling on a honey moon and going to college and having cars is just so much more *interesting* to me than sims 4. I just find myself so bored with sims 4 and i cannot play it like i played sims 3 and i find myself excited in cas, but find myself doing the same things in game over and over. no hate

garlic bred we're ticked off because there were (and arguably still are) parts of the core game experience missing. We only just now got toddlers - two years after launch. I don't blame the sims team - I'm sure they're doing what they can. The oversegmentation of sims 4 feels like marketing gone horribly wrong to me. I love the sims, but I really feel like I'm getting strung along and ripped off.
that said if you're having fun with it please continue to do so! All I'm saying is that I can't invest in sims 4 until I get actual evidence that someone in upper management cares about players rather than profit

This looks really cool! I mean, a bit more stuff would be great, but I appreciate the amount of effort and detail put into all of these things.
In particular, look at the little girl trying to bowl. She holds it in two hands, like a kid would. Then she throws it forward (like a kid would), losing her balance, and then the bowling ball hits the bumpers, going back and forth, before hitting the pins. The amount of detail put into every little thing is phenomenal.

This is the first stuff pack I bought and I don't regret it at all. The items are pretty, I love the hairs and the clothes too. I sometimes forget I have bowling in my game, but it's just cool to have more things to do; I'm not one to take my Sims out of the house much, so this pack helps with that.

Honsetly, i get some of the complains about this stuff pack, but some of them are just super annoying, like ;
Pets : we will get pets eventually, just not now !! Like i dont even get why yall want pets so much, like i didnt dislike it in TS3 but it wasn't my fav by far.
Loading screens : this bothers me SO MUCH bc i takes LESS time to go to the place you want. Like in TS3, you needed to walk out of your house and then sit in a taxi doing nothing. And with loading screens, on a avarage pc it takes like 5 seconds which is less time !!!!

Exactly, people don't see Maxis as a independent studio, they see it as EA controls them so they have an infinite budget to work with and should be giving things away for free all the time. Maxis has a budget just like other studios, if they go over they have to cover their costs somewhere else. If Maxis starts loosing too much money EA can actually shut the studio down and then everything they develop is gone.
Though here it is more freshed out than just an object if it were in Get Together
EA acquired Maxis in 1997. They do exactly what EA tells them to do. There is nothing independent about a subsidiary.

I'm an incredibly dedicated simmer... I own every EP, SP, and GP for both The Sims 3 and The Sims 4.... This is one of the only things that I can absolutely never see myself using. I love the Sims franchise, but I'm fairly disappointed with EA at this point.

It's one of hangout places i could think of when they announced Get Together for it is already shown to us in previous games. Another very useful Stuff Pack!
Emy to be fair the Sims 3 had the store with 1-5 items on if that you would buy for like 10$ with your points that you had to go buy at 7-11. I know I really wanted the plants vs zombie set, it came with like 3 lamps and it was nearly 25$can once I looked at buying the points. Sims 2 had stuff packs that literally just put logos on things that came in base game (diesel pack and the ck rip off one), this isn't new. It's what the Sims does and always has. They are working on big eps and they give little packs in between so people don't lose interest. In the s2&s3 the expansion packs were usually about a year sometimes longer apart from the last one, they'd throw in stuff packs every couple months.
Emy more things for your sims to do, always a good thing.
Sims 2's stuff packs were actually not that bad, Sims 3 was the one that ruined it with Katy Perry Sweet Treats and Diesel Stuff that were basically recolors. In fact, my favorite Sims stuff pack of all time would probably be Sims 2: Mansion and Garden Stuff.

LOL Pets will not be a free update. You know how much hard work would go into making it? they will probs make it $25 or something. (Speaking to iDragonxGamer btw)
Nobody would pay that much money for a few animals in the game. We got toddlers as a free update, so why shouldn't PETS be a free update?
It wouldn't be just for the pets there would be a crap tun more things with it and you would be surprised, some DLC's from the sims 4 are £30 thats more in $ idk what though. And i will eat a Carolina Reaper if its free.. no joke.

People have been complaining about this bowling pack but COME ON they've been coming out with new stuff like every few weeks and you're COMPLAINING?! I love bowling so I'm super excited :) I appreciate all your hard work! #happysimming
