I liked that they take off their shoes, but why do not they wear slippers for homes instead? I wonder how do those who wear shoes in home keep their home clean? do they clean home 5 times a day? or do they clean shoes 5 times a day?

I'm so impressed - can we just recognise how the sims team are giving us what we want: more things to do with children/toddlers, deeper emotion system (feeling sad because someone you're close to is sad), deeper relationships, they got EA game changers to do the builds so the builds we get are decent, neighbours now have relationships with each other and actually know one another... Looks like the mom has an ex boyfriend!? So good!!!!!!
All of these things that u mentioned should have been included in the sims 4 base game at launch, not waiting for almost 7 years to have somewhat a new add on for personality depth

i completely agree with you. the last game i bought was eco lifestyle. I love it but the glitches with the toilet, the garbage can, sims stealing my shyt or my own sim stealing her own shyt when the stealing ACT was not active. Also my PC cant run the sims 4 anymore lol but this pack! I want just want to build build build!!!
Omg I love this. The lifestyle and sentiments blew me away. THIS is what an expansion pack is. This is something the Sims team should be proud of. I’m so proud of this team now. I think that the lifstyles should be added to base game though. What if someone only wants the lifstyles and not the rest of the pack. Not saying I do but I do think that it's something missing.

Kudos to the team for delivering the goods on this one. I'm very excited and looking forward to it's release. Someone in the live chat commented “what a boring flop” and i am honestly so annoyed, why are people like this. This pack is actually pretty good, yes we’ve been disappointed many many times in the past but this is actually a step in the right direction.
Some people play the sims differently. Some people love the fact that you have to make the stories yourself. But some play it for the random things happening and don’t like that they need to make everything for the story and don’t like they need to decide what the sims want all the time. If you play the second way, then yes the sims 4 is just really boring. And this pack doesn’t address the issues those players have. I am happy you and others like the pack, and I hope you will get less annoyed by people in the future playing the game differently and therefore having different opinions. This pack is just really a “boring flop” for them because of their playstyle.

@Jang-geum Seo I’m Korean too and I’ve seen comments from other Korean simmers saying they still won’t buy the pack after the removal of the shrine worship and rising sun looking design because of how disappointed they are in EA but there’s so many other great features in this pack based on what we’ve seen so far. It’s going to be their loss if they boycott even after the problem was fixed.
Cause they still are fixing it up and stuff and besides they have to make sure no errors are to other packs or glitches. And they have to make some of the stuff in the game free to base game players And.. It takes time :)
Please separate cold weather clothes from outerwear! I like seeing my sims bundled up when it’s snowy outside or in their raincoat and boots when it’s raining but it’s annoying to have them look like that indoors during the winter and have my outfits cut in half.
I cant wait for our dear leader to build an empire of knitting on top of Mt. Komorebi just so his customers have to buy them by climbing up the deadly mountain........ Good thing, now our leader can make a pit fall platform and have first child walk over...... Lots of possibilities

As Asian, I totally love this pack. That no shoes rule is a small thing but I've been dying to have it in the pack. Why would my sims wear her heels inside the house? Like that makes no sense. Thanks Sims Guru. You've done so well on this pack! High expectation for this one.
Please add more different cultures! This makes it so fun and so much more realistic as a real world! Nordic, Central American, Caribbean, Southeast Asian, Southern African, North African would all be cool! It’s a nice way to add lots of base game features in an expansion pack with lovely items also.
And what about Slavic culture? We are never mentioned in the sims lol. The only thing that has ever taken place in the sims world that pertains to Slavs was that ts3 store mother Russia collection 😂 which was fine but not my jazz lol
the toddlers jumping off the sled is the cutest thing ever! great job sims team and simmers, this world looks absolutely beautiful! i can't wait to get it for Christmas:)
I'm stunned by the way they aced japanese culture! 25:00 that neighborhood is beautiful, all the festivals... I honestly think this pack couldn't be any better, and I don't understand the people that say this isn't enough to be an expansion pack
If you compare it to the sims 3 expansions it is pretty empty. Of course it is debatable if we should compare the expansions of these different games, but some think it is fair.
This pack looks exciting and I can’t wait to check out lifestyles, build houses inspired by East Asia and check sim profiles! Also having festivals in different areas of the town seems like a good concept!
it is very nostalgic for me. I remember the old days when I lived not far away from the mountains and every weekend with my parents we walked the tops of the largest mountains in my country. late afternoon skiing and warm chocolate in a mountain hut. I feel so melancholically❤️
It’s not necessarily the pack itself that makes me appreciated, but the base game update. They’ve listened and are giving content to those paying and not, which makes me feel more likely to consider putting my money in this.
I really do love the Sentiments and Lifestyles as this will make Sims feel alive and connected to the world they live in. The numerous base game improvements and those brought with the purchase of this Expansion pack has me truly excited for Snowy Escape!
Dear Sims, Yesterday I saw the sims 3 generations trailer pop-up on my youtube, and I noticed that we have literally no game play for teens. Look I am a very boring teen and I would love to have a game pack maybe an expansion pack😀 only for teens. U can include things like different type of schools, INTERACTIVE prom ( u can include shopping for a dress or suit) , football games, TEEN parties, little concerts with BANDS, teen hangout spots, sleepovers,... u name it
OMG! This is the first pack in ages that I am truly excited about! If the Lifestyles, Sentiments, and relationships between existing households really work the way it seems they will, this will make Sims 4 my favorite game again. THIS is what we've been waiting for!
I hope that more lifestyles will come in the future and I think it's a shame that there aren't some that use features from other packs. I immediately think of "party animal" (get together-ish) or "self-sufficient" (seasons / eco lifestyle-ish). And before someone says that this would mean buying other packs in order to take full advantage of the feature: other packs complement the group activities of get together, too (for example nifty knitting). lifestyles could just as easily be supplemented through add ons, at least future ones.
No yeah I get what you mean. The features of the pack are nice by themselves but some cross-pack intergration would make them even better. Like the ability to sled on elevated tereain in like willow creek if someone has seasons or for there to be sentiments/lifestyle things from other packs or using the new tables in dine out restaurants.

I’M SO READY! I already have my build plans set! Thank you Sims! for this new pack! I’m going to return to my Air B&B s and change the the lot types to rental! And I must add, I’ve respect for the professional stream-sticking to your points, not too serious and not much playing around.
I am definitely so totally ready for this pack. What really sold me was the vending machines from the trailer. And that tile wall set from this live stream. That cat wall was one of the most cutest things ever for a Sims game. I have 3 indoor female cats of my own. So I now really have to get this pack.
This was a great stream and I'm very excited for all the content in the new pack, as well as the really cool new features for the base game update. On another note, I have to say, as part of the Sim Community, I am embarrassed by the way some people behaved on the live chat. Spamming really dumb questions such as about the train, which, OBVIOUSLY, were it functional would had been adressed, and repeatedly asking about platforms on pools, like they're not going to be able to test that on their own, as it is PART OF THE FREE UPDATE. I really wish people here were a little bit- nay- a LOT, more respectful about this sort of event, and actually watched, and listened to what's going on rather than spamming chat with nonesense. Shame on you, people. One question I would like to ask, regarding the Custom Content doors and windows, which stopped working after the update prior to Journet to Batu release, is if those will be fixed with the next update? This has been quite an issue and I really hope there will be a solution soon. And I would hope more community members would have the common sense to ask none-stream-related questions in the later comments, like I'm doing, rather than spamming while the stream is live. A little respect and a little common sense goes a long way, people.
This pack got me from the beginning. I love the japanese inspired contents, the new lifestyle stuff, and the live was so much fun! I will definitely be buying this one, thank you simmers and gurus!

Yeahhh that would’ve been great for people who wanted it. But unfortunately Korea wanted it permanently removed. Which i don’t think its fair for the japanese culture yk? The pack is based on Japan not Korea so they should’ve kept it with a on and off button because now Japan people are really saddened.
idk mann there is a LOT of bad history between japan and both the koreas and the japanese forced koreans to join their religion and worship to those shrines... not good memories. besides i think its better to have sad fans than mad ones? Also there is so much japanese inspired culture in here so they still have a lot to relate to!!

But I saw the part where they said there isn't anything new to do with simstagram in the EP, I was hoping it would be implemented like some sort of a memories system (similar to the Sims 2) where the Sims would use it like a diary with pictures they take throughout their lives, with big life events, vacations etc. I'd love that.

Still wish those pink cherry trees reacted to seasons! Same with the dogwood from cats and dogs...there's a lot of plants that don't react...

Yesterday I saw the sims 3 generations trailer pop-up on my youtube, and I noticed that we have literally no game play for teens. Look I am a very boring teen and I would love to have a game pack maybe an expansion pack😀 only for teens. U can include things like different type of schools, INTERACTIVE prom ( u can include shopping for a dress or suit) , football games, TEEN parties, little concerts with BANDS, teen hangout spots, sleepovers,... u name it
Thank you for this livestream, I had gone back to playing Sims 3 a while ago but this pack has genuinely made me excited to play Sims 4 again!♥

OMG! This is the first pack in ages that I am truly excited about! If the Lifestyles, Sentiments, and relationships between existing households really work the way it seems they will, this will make Sims 4 my favorite game again. THIS is what we've been waiting for!
This a BEAUTIFUL world, the birds, the water, the plants... Just wow 💖
I hope that more lifestyles will come in the future and I think it's a shame that there aren't some that use features from other packs. I immediately think of "party animal" (get together-ish) or "self-sufficient" (seasons / eco lifestyle-ish). And before someone says that this would mean buying other packs in order to take full advantage of the feature: other packs complement the group activities of get together, too (for example nifty knitting). lifestyles could just as easily be supplemented through add ons, at least future ones.
No yeah I get what you mean. The features of the pack are nice by themselves but some cross-pack intergration would make them even better. Like the ability to sled on elevated tereain in like willow creek if someone has seasons or for there to be sentiments/lifestyle things from other packs or using the new tables in dine out restaurants.

I'm sure modders are going to add more if the team doesn't.

I am definitely so totally ready for this pack. What really sold me was the vending machines from the trailer. And that tile wall set from this live stream. That cat wall was one of the most cutest things ever for a Sims game. I have 3 indoor female cats of my own. So I now really have to get this pack.

This was a great stream and I'm very excited for all the content in the new pack, as well as the really cool new features for the base game update.
On another note, I have to say, as part of the Sim Community, I am embarrassed by the way some people behaved on the live chat. Spamming really dumb questions such as about the train, which, OBVIOUSLY, were it functional would had been adressed, and repeatedly asking about platforms on pools, like they're not going to be able to test that on their own, as it is PART OF THE FREE UPDATE.
I really wish people here were a little bit- nay- a LOT, more respectful about this sort of event, and actually watched, and listened to what's going on rather than spamming chat with nonesense. Shame on you, people.
One question I would like to ask, regarding the Custom Content doors and windows, which stopped working after the update prior to Journet to Batu release, is if those will be fixed with the next update? This has been quite an issue and I really hope there will be a solution soon.
And I would hope more community members would have the common sense to ask none-stream-related questions in the later comments, like I'm doing, rather than spamming while the stream is live.
A little respect and a little common sense goes a long way, people.

Yeahhh that would’ve been great for people who wanted it. But unfortunately Korea wanted it permanently removed. Which i don’t think its fair for the japanese culture yk? The pack is based on Japan not Korea so they should’ve kept it with a on and off button because now Japan people are really saddened.
idk mann there is a LOT of bad history between japan and both the koreas and the japanese forced koreans to join their religion and worship to those shrines... not good memories. besides i think its better to have sad fans than mad ones? Also there is so much japanese inspired culture in here so they still have a lot to relate to!!

@@reivxa what? I didn't watch the full livestream, just caught it from the middle or so, can you point me to where they talk about it more? But I saw the part where they said there isn't anything new to do with simstagram in the EP, I was hoping it would be implemented like some sort of a memories system (similar to the Sims 2) where the Sims would use it like a diary with pictures they take throughout their lives, with big life events, vacations etc. I'd love that.

Only one thing that I don't like is that there are only 3 male hairs and many more female hairs. But except from that I am super duper exicted!
That's something the sims team typically does in every pack, but luckily custom content can really help with the lack of male hairs
I’m loving the look of this pack. A little sad that there’s no traditional futon for the bedroom to make truely traditional Japanese homes.

Can we pleaseeee get a camera update for console that makes us able to alter the position freely like PC? Instead of the standing zoom in and out?
Like make it so that if we say press and hold the joystick we can angle the camera up and down instead of it just being a locked zoom hand out
