Sadly they won't let us take it from the cradle.(Sims4 forums is where they shot it down) but a lot of people have been pushing for things like strollers, holsters and blankets so the baby is still attached to something and gives it a less Boring presence. #floodthefourms if you want to voice your opinion.

@Idkman - A Simmer has already made a version of this for adults and children, so they probably got the idea from her. You can find and download the adult version of a hair almost the exact same as how the one in the video looks.

+Giorgio Naghi Open World would cause the game to be laggy and not playable, I could understand open neighborhood. Like of you are in the neighborhood of your friends house you don't have to go into a loading screen just to go to his house. Definitely not open world, also it would take forever.
+Giorgio Naghi Open world doesnt make sense anymore. It was a trade off to have more lively lots. Notice how if you went to a lot in the sims 3 there would only be like 5 people. Now in the sims 4 if you go to a lot you can have about 20 people. I felt how you felt at first until I realized this and realized how much sense it made.

Many things have changed since this stuff pack game out. A little over a year about people were complaining about toddlers, pets, seasons, etc...and we basically have all of that now (well Seasons is coming out this week. I just got this stuff pack as I am finally able to slowly catch up and OMG this is so cute. I like the little puppet theater that your sims children can put on shows for family and friends, plus the voidcritters, etc....this and Parenthood plus the toddler pack (which is on my list to get eventually. I have all the game and expansions, just missing the stuff packs) really helps add to all the different life stages.
Wow, people are still bitching about Pets, Seasons, Generations, and toddlers? Those were the last expansion packs released for the sims 3, so how about you wait for them.

Generations was the fourth expansion Pets the fifth far from last expansions seeing Sims 3 had 12 expansions. At this point in Sims 3 life span Generations had already came out. Only one that came in later of the most wanted expansions was Seasons but still not last University Into the Future and Island Paradise all came out after.
Lance Smith At this point in Sims 3 lifespan they had two studios making stuff.....
yeah..... right. except simple things that shouldve never been removed in the first place (aka toddlers, services, pools even though they added them, etc) were removed and for no good reason. im sure people were a lot more patient with the sims 3 because of the fact that most of their packs were awesome AND it had so many features in the BASE game that the sims 4 simply does not have.....

Well, I never missed having heaps of clothes on the floor myself. Every time they'd make a clothes change they didn't hang up their clothes, no, they'd just drop them on the floor and you'd have piles of clothes everywhere. That drives neat freaks crazy.

Maybe the toddlers... But open world is impossible now. Just imagine how cool it is that it is kind of like the old days in sim's 1 and 2 with no open worlds. We have to wait until Sim's 5 for that one. But honestly... Open worlds was amazing but it lagged soooo bad.

I hope that there is going to be a get famous expansion pack were you can actively go to work as a movie star or singer and become famous like in ts3 late night but better, and a get to the future expansion were its like ts3 into the future, or get to school where it's like university life but there is also grade and high school where you go to school with your sim...there are so many things that the sims 4 is missing that previous sim games had such as cars, and toddlers. hopefully they will bring some of that back in an expansion pack

Have EA always pushed out shit Stuff packs? I don't remember having so many come out! This stuff should be added with a generation like expansion like in the sims 3, I feel like their so money hungry.
Yes they did. What comes in stuff packs now used to be offered as dlc packs in the sims 3 store or came with worlds that you had to pay $25 for
EA's actually being pretty generous. In the Store they had everything sectioned off. "If you want to buy this special coffee maker, it's 15$! If you want the chocolate fountain, it's 20$!" Mostly they didn't have all the pieces together. And yeah, you had to pay like 25 dollars for a town or something that wasn't even that cool. So, paying 10-15$ for an entire stuff pack with new gameplay sounds like a nice deal to me. Especially since before, you could spend that much just getting one thing.

This is so adorable! I never really cared much for playing the children in previous Sims games, cause they were very limited with what they could do and constantly had to keep going to school. Plus, their needs would fall so quickly! I could never get a kid to stay up past 7 PM unless it was a weekend. But this looks so much fun, especially the puppet show. I doubt it, but I really hope we can get an option to hire a babysitter of our choosing to watch the kids. Would make for some great storylines.

stuff packs in the sims 4 are addons... literally JUST addons. small amount of content with little to no gameplay for a small amount of money. its easier for people to choose what type of content they want without having to pay lots of $$$.

I think it's very good idea to make an stuff pack with just kid stuff cause the rest of the extra content is really just adult and teenager stuff but I still love all the stuff
Look, this is cute and all, and it looks like it took a lot of work, so thanks. But is it going to make the game less dull? I think, with all due respect, the staff need to focus on other things rather than pushing out stuff packs. Hopefully I'm not seeming like an asshole, but I agree with a lot of the commenters, The pets, the seasons, and even the toddlers. I'm kind of getting sick of just waiting around for actual expansion packs, that enhance the game and make it more enjoyable, and give people things to do. Thanks for all the work y'all put in, but I think it's not all that focused on the correct things.
