+*StarlightSims* Gosh I couldn't be more excited about the cafe haha it's one of the things I missed the most. I really just wanted to have my sims to go out to dinner or some place to be served besides a bar. The retail shops were a pain to set up in a way to get a realistic dinner place

+sully sole I've always been excited for it too. I admit I was worried at first but the more they announce the more I see the game's expansions having a bright future. With everyone having doubts and the little we had been getting from the beginning, I wasn't sure how this would play out. I love getting more content. I know hairs and stuff you can get from custom content but honestly I can't get those because I end up with a virus or glitches. Even from sims resource. I appreciate the modding community and their work but the viruses that are possible in getting (aren't their fault of course) but its too risky for me. I can't keep taking my pc in to be cleaned out.
+sully sole So did I! I was defending it from the beginning, because I always thought it looked fun and had a lot of potential. Anyone with common sense knows that we'll get things like Pets and Seasons later on...I'm happy to see EA thinking of new ideas and cool stuff for us to do. Keeps the game exciting and fresh!
+sully sole - I wont buy anything from S4 until it drops the price drastically, nearly being free because it's halfassed garbage compared to the old games. This town and all of it's content should be in the base game and not in a sorry ass expansion. Not to talk about the other things that should be in the base game.
Get Together is still my favorite pack. It didn't have much gameplay, but Windenburg is just so pretty.

I have always been very sceptic about expansion packs from Sims but I gotta say, I have never been so excited for an EP since Sims 3 Late Night & Ambitions. Everything looks so carefully thought and implemented, so many details put in. I will buy this.

+RckerMom87 Thats what I'm thinking, too. I recently had to buy a whole new HDD and now I dont even feel like reinstalling The Sims 4 lol. (I installed TS2 Ultimate Collection though and its awesome!). This Get Together pack seems exciting but I dont want to get into this again because I will probably end up buying every pack and then feeling like I wasted too much money on all that.

Cafes look nice and ordering food with it too. Love the tray for croissant and muffins, nice touch and the coffee/tea bags options too. I loved the chateau maze too!

One question remains though: How will cars work with some of these neighbourhoods in the future when some of the lots are only accessible by foot?
+Iron Seagull the cars will probably just go in the inventory of your sim? I suppose that would probably be what happens since that's what they did in the sims 3.
Skylar Gandee I guess so, that's kinda disappointing though. I don't want to wait ages for cars to come back to be just like they were in TS3. Hopefully they'll at least be more like the Roaring Heights car where your sims can still woohoo and listen to music when the car isn't moving.
+Iron Seagull All the neighborhoods seem to have some sort of road. Presumably that's where the card will be, although I don't know how driveways would work.
+Iron Seagull sorry to burst your bubble, but I have a hard time believing that cars will ever come into the game because how it was originally designed. They'd have to retool how the entirety of how the worlds work in order for cars to be incorporated. So, try to be happy and content without cars, then if they come by some miracle, you'll be extra pumped.

I feel like this pack has a lot more content than get to work. It actually has quality stuff we can use for more for just one purpose. You could do family reunions, have a west side story type of game, you can do a lot of different stuff in this, while in get to work, the only things you could customize is the retail stuff

+Cat - They aren' going to add toddlers, EA wanted a new gameplay so they can watch what players would do without toddlers.
+Marko Van De Pol They will add Toddlers eventually! At the moment, the only luck of having them added into the game is with a Generations EP where pre-teens will also come!

Windenberg is a beautiful town. There are some new cool activities but I still don't know if this game has enough new game play to be called a expansion pack. I may be wrong, but what kind of new game play will the clubs bring? For example, If i made a book club will the sims have special interactions related to books?Or will they just sit and read books like they can in the base game? Do the clubs have certain goals? Do they have different levels of popularity? All questions that I'm excited to find the answer to.
I love how much seems to keep being added, especially the more hair it looks like we will be getting. It looks like a lot of time has been put into this, I can't wait till release date

I felt that way at first too. I'm pretty much only getting it because of the world. But they did confirm that expansion number 3 is being worked on. :D Hopefully it'll be something good.
Savannah Lee im sure they work on EP no.3 but its not even like a style of European world that I want its just different. I just still haven't done everything in the base game + GTW and with this series I decided im not buying DLC unless I really want it.

+gagasluxury Well, that's the point of all the EPs they make. Since not everyone will want this, they are making more varieties to try and appeal to as many people as possible. Not everyone will be happy because you just can't please everyone. In the meantime, I continue to play sims 3 until Sims 4 goes on sale.

I was on the fence about this one at first. I've bought other Sims EP's before, and didn't enjoy them as much as I thought. They're fun but don't add as much as I thought they would. Hope they do something about the fact that no played sims that die dissapear even from the family tree... my sims are part of Katrima Caliente and Don Lothario family (my sim married one of their sons) and Katrina family is really big (two daughters and three sons, 9 grandchilds)... it will be horrible that when she dies she dissapears from the family tree!!!

there is no reason not to whine about stuff you miss especially if you pay hard earned money for it . plus adding a life stage really isn't impossible, even in a new engine. Sims 1 added teenagers as an update.
