I would love to see a pack that just has more things to do with water. I love the Sims 4, and I think it would be great to have these:
- More unique social interactions in pools
- Options to swim in local bodies of water like rivers and ponds
- Pool floaty toy things
- Sunbathing with poolside chairs/towels
- Perhaps having Sims get sunburnt temporarily that results in an embarrassed or uncomfortable moodlet and a reddened skin tone
- Water slides!
- Maybe swimming or boating as its own skill
- Boating/canoeing/kayaking
- More swimsuit options like goggles for little ones and swim caps
- Competitive swimming pools with races, winner determined by fitness skill
- A beach venue would be really cool
- Beach towels, umbrellas, and parties
I appreciate the tremendous amount of work that goes into these packs, and I wanted to present my ideas. Thank you for a great game!

They might make like an island paradise for sims 4, but pool floaty toys are a cute idea!
GO TO THE SIMS FORUMS AND POST STUFF LIKE THIS. we need more simmers to actually utilize the fourms. add to peoples opinions,post opinions, get more involved so when they send out surveys they can get a better look at what the players want....

All of your ideas are very great! In the Get Together expansion pack, they added a diving platform, you can also skinny dip, and in windenburg (the town that comes with the pack) has a pool venue and in another lot, it has a natural pool! It would be great though if they added all the other things.
This pack had so much potential but it’s so flawled and they never fix the issues :/
Which kind of problems have you experienced in your game? I'm thinking in buying this pack.
Ariel Tales The idea was lovely but the execution not so much. Restaurants are overcrowded, it takes hours to have a seat bc for some reason the host doesn’t want to do their job, people don’t stay at their tables, food barely gets delivered, plates don’t get cleaned (they straight up rot on the table, you have to clean it yourself), sims who came together don’t even seat together. That’s on top of my head, there’s certainly more.
@@cat-ou2jf Wow!!! I decided not to buy "get to work" because of the glitches and that seems even worse. I won't buy it, unless EA repairs it and get the money back.

Ariel Tales I haven’t seen anything that significantly bothered me with other packs that I own. I’ll list the ones that I bought in a few I have to do something.
Ariel Tales cool kitchen stuff, get to work, city living, dine out, movie hangout, parenthood (A MUST), toddler stuff, cats and dogs, get together, outdoor retreat, kids room stuff, backyard stuff, bowling night stuff, seasons (honestly could live without)

I'm glad this was it's own separate game pack and not included in Get To Work. That way they could put as much time, energy and detail into the pack as possible.
it would be buggy too if you ever owned a business in get to work......stupid employees

+Raphael Oliveira not really, the sims 2 open for business was a LOT more detailed than this and also you're not really running a business, you're running a restaurant, which you could do in NightLife if you had open for business, but again, it's really very different and more like resorts than a combination of OFB and Nl. Plus, none of the sim team members want to make TS4 anything like TS2, which is why they didn't make businesses more detailed in GTW, but this is just speculation, so don't take it as complete fact.

This definitely is an improvement over Get To Work's retail system. Now we just need a new Magnolia Promenade-like world to place all the restaurants in :D

I was so so hyped for this pack and I think the concept is amazing but the fact is it is unplayable - Sims come in refuse to sit down, Staff either don’t show up or when they do they don’t do their job and it’s so hard to make a profit when none of the modules work

If this was with Get To Work, the EP would of been rushed.
True but you have to look at a business standpoint from Sims and EA. If you put this into the Get to Work EP, the the EP would of been really big. Three new jobs that are professions and are really interactive then owning any kind of store you want plus a shit ton of new items. Adding restaurants and all this other shit plus more items into it would make the EP gigantic. Like think about the EP from Sims 3 they were not that big and a lot of them can be created into a game pack. Like Island Paradise is pretty similar to this but Island paradise had some other things like more Islands to travel to and house boat. But University life was just a university and like a mini town that came with it, which can easily be a game pack.
I don't think it's a big deal that it wasn't. Some people don't really like GTW at all but at least with this pack you can get a portion of what GTW offers minus things like too many aliens and stuff that people don't like at a much lower cost. Plus it goes waaay more in depth than GTW did, which is nice.

OK gents im going to lay some facts for you guys the sims 3 came out June 2, 2009 and season came out November 16, 2012 which means that it took ea around 3-4 year to come out with season so you gents that had the sims 3 from the start lived with out it for 3-4 years, it has not even been 2 years since the sims 4 came out so guys come down its coming.

Omg, this actually looks awesome! I didn't realize you could dive so deep into it like that. I've always loved resteraunt/cooking games, so this look really great!
Now the only thing this game is giving the characters different heights
They need to refresh this pack & add an option to make our sim as the head chef
this has excited me. before i was meh but that aquarium, sign customisation and menu creation has me pumped
Things I'd love to see in Dine Out.
1.) Longer hours of operation without the workers getting tired. I'd love to have longer restaurant gameplay.
2.) A gradual closing process. I hate how the restaurant just shuts down and customers don't get to finish their meals and workers don't clean up the mess for closing
3.) The glitch in the workers when you accidentally remove a requirement to build the restaurant. When you do that the workers are all removed and you'd have to re hire sims, re do their training, experience & pay. Super frustrating having to constantly start over!
4.) More tables and chair options
5.) More CHEFS and HOSTS!!!!
For all you people who insist on complaining about pets, and seasons, here are some facts. Pet's has always come out 2 years after the game launched, we're in that 2nd year with Sims 4 right now, so I guess we can assume it will be coming soon. Seasons, has always come out 3 years after the game launch, so expect it, in about a year. Everyone needs to cool their jets and realize that EA is still producing amazing content for it's fan base, and just because you want it, doesn't mean they have to provide it for you.
I like the idea of this game pack - big improvement over the restaurants in Sims 2 and 3. This has a little bit of the Sims 2 Open for Business feel and I hope they'll add more types of businesses that sims can own in the future!
Honestly you guys have upped your game this time, I'm going to have the best summer just utilising this game pack on its own!

They can have birthdays but not sure about the proposals...

I believe that there's a skill called food photography.
One of the most broken packs in the sims 4 (and that's saying something). Has been broken for close to five years now with no fix in sight. Not to mention most of what you see in the trailer can't be replicated in-game because the A.I. of sims is atrocious. Ordering food takes like four in-game hours and probably one or two more until they finally eat it and leave. It's a mess.

To all the people saying this shoud've in the base game, have you ever played a sims game? They ALWAYS make the base game THEN create add-ons! And to the people who say this should've been in GTW, no it shouldn't have because that was supposed to be RETAIL not food! Plus you don't need GTW for this pack!
I'm pretty sure that expansion was "Get to Work", not "Get to Retail".

But the features are similar enough to the retail one that it could have easily been put into Get to Work and fit in with it perfectly, just restaurant style. :| And 'Work' is a general word...
