As a person who doesn’t use CC or Mods, I can tell you that this is getting boring. I’ve been waiting for a new action-packed, gameplay-filled pack for just under a year. I’ve been questioning whether to get the uni pack. I don’t really build and it seems like we’re being given less and less each ep so I’m really not sure whether to buy it or not.

What that makes no seance at all
So what I'm seeing is you knocked off the conservationist mechanics from Island living, a bunch of weird crafty things that should have been compiled into a stuff pack if ever introduced at all, shipping containers that stopped being trendy in 2016, fancy gardening CC, beekeeper box part two, invention mechanics that no one used from Get To Work, the flies animation from Jungle Adventure bat attack, Ghostbusters pollution-sucker, solar panels that should've been in Tiny Living, ladders that basically existed via pool ladders in Island Living (oh wow, an original animation finally), and some fancy looking environmental setdressing, and a couple of cute hairs that i could have gotten as CC, and don't forget the *quirky* sims. Oh please, take my hard earned $40.

Avocadoskin I know, I’m not a big fan of the pack, only a few hairstyles and build items. The rest is kind of boring since they took things like animations and gameplay from the other expansion packs. And the solar panels should have come with tiny living.

Why do ya’ll think so many people have started downloading cracked versions of your game? You’re just going to overcharge all of us fans for some rebranded ideas and ignore us anyway :( I miss the feelings The Sims 2 and 3 both gave me when I first picked them up.
I feel like this trailer broke me. I'm not even angry about them not making a pack I wanted, I'm angry that this is the fourth eco themed pack, the 2nd environmental activist pack, and none of the profits go to actual environmental efforts. Not only are they reusing themes from other packs, they're trying to profit off of an actual global crisis because it seems trendy. Everyone should honestly forgo this pack and give the $40 or however much it is in your country's currency to environmental organizations so that the money won't actually go to waste.

When we say we want gameplay, we want interactions and personality with our sims. We want the small details and touches. We don't mean hand feed us a forced linear storyline that ends.
100 perfect agree with this. Not to mention there is no replay value with this. Heck i only cleaned up Sulani in one of my games but never for the other ones.

Also, let's not forget this storyline was already done on island living, the only difference is that now it is on a suburban area, they are _recycling_ (pun intended) their old content to gain money.

I was really exited for this pack because I thought for a second that we’d be getting a new world in a $10 stuff pack. Then I saw 4 or 5 new objects with reused animations and I thought $20 oh I don’t know if it’s worth that... then I saw it was an expansion pack so $40. Then I clicked off the video.

We need packs that will bring more life into relationships. Teens are super boring. In sims 3 my teenage sim could run away from home and get arrested then grounded. The kids were running out to welcome parents ,they were showing their grades to parents,you could stroll with your baby,gradparents had some fun with grandchildren. In sims 2 you could make a food fight at the table and all little things. We don't need this before you fix other things.You know sims 4 was promising to be more than sims 3,but even after so many packs and expansions it it still less.

If only it had playable cars, I think it would be a perfect expansion pack. Imagine how cool it would be if we have different types of cars, from cheap cars that cause a lot of pollution to expensive electric cars that cause no pollution 😍 It would be so cool!

Cars will never happen. They aren't plausible because Sims 4 doesn't have open world. It would be totally pointless.

If your actually going with this idea I feel it should of been a game pack. This feels like a bunch of stuff we’ve gotten from other packs thrown together. Conservation aspect, robotics, charity, etc.

I have completely given up on the sims 4. At this point I just mildly smile at new content and hope no one buys it. There are so many people who spent hundreds of dollars on this game and I am so glad that I stopped at expansion pack no. 1 when I realised the problem with sims 4 go so deep the game can‘t be fixed with new clothing / furniture / cities. But still they couldn’t do it right in island living and now we wasted a whole slot for a expansion on a garbage themed pack😬 For me it’s just an addition to island living, which should have been a game pck not a full expansion since it just doesn’t have enough features to be one. We often get amazing CAS and BaB but we also wanna see great gameplay and sims 4 lacks here the most with the most developing time from all generations...jut compare the content of island living to island paradise and that’s a huge difference

I was kind of hoping for like a Hotel expansion or something in the lines of that. Where you can stay at a hotel for a certain amount of days, new jobs such as: Receptionist, Bellhop or Bell Boy whatever Americans call it, Waiter, Cleaning Lady (Or Cleaning Man) and of course Hotel Manager, where you can manage your own Hotel, hire staff, and stuff like that. I work in a Hotel and it would be cool if that was a thing but I'm also chill with these packs.

everyone is hating on this expansion pack, i actually love the idea! it shows people - and children- how we can change our world - save it - from pollution. Obviously we wont vacuum clean the air but its still raising awareness to the fact that we need to live more eco friendly lives. As an environmentalist, i love it.

Nah it really didn't. EA clowned some, because they will now buy this after the game changers and the lifestream convinced them to spend 40$ on recycled stuff, ideas and animations. This pack will get boring after 2 weeks. Personally I will wait for EA to improve the core game before buying another icing like pack for the game. We have 32 of those already and the game is still lackluster overall.

I would like to see a teen expansion like were teens hang out in a world and if they stay out till 12 am they have to be brought home with the police or detective :)

I see NO reason why this gameplay wasn’t included in Island Living??? This is the same concept as the conservationist career, scaled up to an entire expansion pack and with a separate $40 price tag slapped on. HIGHLY disappointed

What bums me out about the whole “voting for a pack” is that it’s kind of like being told you can have a pet and you’re desperate for a dog, but they’re only offering a choice between a goldfish and a hamster. I wish they’d request surveys with actual feedback where we can express what we want.
I totally get it. I voted for eco-living as a STUFF PACK! But I voted for eco-living because none of the others were intriguing to me. I didn't vote for it because I wanted it more than anything. I voted for it because that was the best out of the five options for a stuff pack

Its a lackluster pack with a lot of recycled stuff, ideas and animations. The team didn't work hard on it. No. They don't try their best. They did in the past, but not nowadays. We will give them our hard earned money again, if they work hard again. Recycling stuff, animations and ideas is not hard work! You are telling us that we should just go back and play a good game instead. But you are forgetting that we complain about EAs shortcomming so that they will improve in the future. @@dake5388 I have seen the whole lifestream and many game changer vids. Game changers are always hype for the littlest things. The pack doesn't go deep at all. The polution only affects the other worlds in a superficial way. No trash and depth. Everybody is happy to live in the trash world so there is not even an incentive to improve it, other then looks. There are no negative outcomes that pose a challenge. The traits are lackluster and shallow again. Candle making is not even a skill. They're rehashing the same game mechanics we have seen 1000 times already and reusing animations and other assets. The difficulty already seems none existent.The EP really doesn't offer enough new content to justify it's insane price tag. 40USD is an insane price tag for ANY Sims 4 EP, since they add about 60% of what EPs in TS2 and TS3 added. I am more exited for the free patch than the pack. In general I'm more then happy to give EA money, if they work on improving the core game and make great EPs again, that rival the ones past Sims games offered.
I've been playing the Sims for over a decade, since I was 9 years old. I've played everything since Sims 2, and I can confidently say that Sims 4 is the only game that I have no desire anymore to play. I haven't wanted to play in months, since University came out, yet I STILL play Sims 3. If this was a game pack, I probably would've tried it, but no one wants to pay $40 for game additions they'll use ONCE. Expansion packs should add features and worlds to the base game that integrate into everyday "life" in the simulation. Stuff like better babies, autonomy within the neighborhood, transportation, different cultural and geographical neighborhoods, etc. I think the content creators at Sims massively underestimate how much their customers enjoy basic life simulation gameplay, most of us don't want these quest-based packs. That's not what the Sims is.

Same. I am downloading Sims 3 onto my Mac 2017, as it's possible to now. Sims 4 is so boring. I miss open worlds, being able to create and edit anything how you want. Going to go back to playing in Hogsmeade when I finish downloading it. Someone created an incredible Hogsmeade world with Hogwarts etc for Sims 3 and I used to just play in that and have a wizarding world. Miss it.

Well, i dont know how, they make us pay for 32 expansion packs and we didnt even have Fairys and werewolfs... We cant control the pets, its a closed world and the gameplay its BORING compared to other Sims.

Sims5News the thing is that I doubt sims 5 is going to be better. No one would care if it took longer, but you can't tell me adding things like ladders takes so much time. I totally get that adding an open world now would be basically impossible, cars to me make no sense, neither do things like horses without at least 2-3 BIG lots in the world.

A little correction where is due....EA put their Time and OUR MONEY!!! and we are paying high amounts of it for... nothing good! as, in my case, and many other simmers, (I haven't got the pack) they added several very real bugs into my game with their patching. So, money is now days more scarce than ever and we can complain if we like. We have good reasons to do so.
