The City Living pack is DEFINETELY worth it. I bought a while ago, and I was even surprised to how good it was! It added so much fun stuff in the game! Singing, Karaoke, basketball, art galleries, apartaments, outdoor events, and much more!
Honestly i was thinking about getting it and i was thinking if it was worth it! after reading this i think i'll buy it :)

@@georgiagardner353 city living imo is way better than cat n dogs. if you're not a pet person you won't like it. its boring, the pets are demanding and annoying, the vet is buggy and the build items are mediocre. city living is an actual expansion pack. it adds SO much to the game and theres many fun things to do. also the details of the city, apartments and the citizens are amazingg

Because roommates is what we want we probably won't be getting it. EA has a history of doing the opposite. Family players wanted toddlers so we were given "Get Together" although personally I did believe that EP helped one of the many problems because there were hardly things to do in a group before GT!

City Living was cool! It served as a great graduation gift! My favorite parts about City Living were the penthouses, the fireworks, and the festivals! I never got a chance to experience city living in the Sims so this was a pleasant surprise. I'm also getting nostalgia from living in an apartment during my childhood. City Living is a great change of pace! 🎊🎊🎉🎉😁😁

Eh, lately I only play it when I feel inspired, and wanna build something... anyone know how to force an inspired moodlet IRL? I've tried staring at knives and piles of blank canvas and scratching my chin then pointing in the air while schowering, but none of its working.
if you look at the trailer properly it isn't really an apartment but rather the penthouse of an apartment. i suspect you won't be able to edit or even explore the other floors seeing as how the sims 4 engine was probably not designed to cope with it.

I remember one time in the Sims 3, I walked my character over to the neighbour's house to try and ask her out on a date. When I got there, I found an empty bowl of "Brain Freeze a la Mode" on the table, and she had turned into a zombie. So my character then had to book a taxi and go all the way across town to the elixir store and buy an anti-zombification potion, before taking that back and trying to give it to her, without getting bitten himself. After that happened, they entered a relationship.
Now that was a fucking adventure. Granted it was an adventure fueled by expansion packs, but I don't feel like any amount of expansion will help The Sims 4. The fact that every lot is separated by a loading screen makes the world feel so sterile and lifeless. In the Sims 3, you could take your dog for a walk at nighttime and witness a break in, or buy a tent and sleep in a field before befriending a fucking unicorn, because the world was one big, living, breathing world where things happened.
THESE are the sorts of adventures that you remember, that stick in your mind and make the game memorable, that really gives you an emotional bond with the characters you create. The Sims 4 doesn't offer that to me.

Candy Queen couldn't have said it better myself. I have a whole load of expansions for the sims 3 but my computer crashes all the time with them. So now I'm just stuck with the sim four. Don't get me wrong it is fun just not as exiting at the sims 3.

Most packs ( I'm referring to famous mostly ) trailers usually have good trailers and make the pack look SUPER fun, but aren't as exciting ( I still love the packs though ) but this pack show ALL of the things you can do, and it's really fun, and has a lot of activities making this one of the best packs. Then it turned into a toddler and I had to spend most of my day making the brat happy and teaching it stuff. They made a good choice by not having it in. If you want a toddler so bad play sims3 and you will feel the same way as me

I personally don't want the sims people to release all features at once. I don't mind seasons and university coming out in different packs.. if they added everything all at once there's be nothing left to add, nothing to get excited for.
That's what I am thinking, plus people seem to be too fixed on OLD pack ideas. I think it's great they are taking a turn with TS4 and giving us new things that we've never had before. It seems like they are still following with tradition with the ideas in a way, like this pack seems to be mixture of a few packs from TS3 and TS2, so I do think Seasons and pets will come, but I am going to assume they aren't going to come in a standalone pack, they'll probably be made with other elements. I personally like this but there's tons of people who seem too lost in old ways, which is fine I suppose but I think it just ruins your own experience? I feel being a true fan means you're patient and understanding with the wants of everyone in the community as a whole, and sticking with it even if you don't see what you personally wanted, instead of whining that something is missing and how much you hate the game. TS4 has won me over in some bits and others have made me question, I still play it. It's better to expect less and be blown away instead, but that's just me.

OK, we get it! everybody is so disappointed that there are no toddlers /open world/pets/seasons. so what! it's only been two years and pets and seasons are coming either way. As for toddlers, they weren't so great in the previous games, I myself honestly hated that life stage and skipped it as soon as possible. I was so happy when I found out there won't be any in ts4. And the open world? we didn't have one in ts2 and we survived, it was my favourite Sims game actually! Cars were more like tokens even in that game, so even if we don't get any in ts4,I'm OK with it.
So in conclusion, please stop being salty about it, if you don't like what has become of the game, don't buy it, unsubscribe from this channel, unfollow on the social medias and play the games you love, don't spoil the fun for those of us who like this incarnation of the game.

Unfortunately Singing isn't a career, we do however get 3 new careers, Art Critic, Food Critic, and Social Media career. Nothing has been told about them as of yet.

1. There will never be cars due to the lack of their use and incompatibility with a non-open world.
2. If there aren't toddlers two years into the game, there probably never will.
They had cars in Sims 2 and you didn't have a whole lot of use for those, but they did them. I at least would like a car pool system. I hate my sim walking off a side walk.

Just want to mention this tho: why would cars make this game better? They're simply just objects anyway. ALSO: they're likely still working on toddlers. Developing lots of new animation and simulation for a life stage takes lots of time. I hope you all are not such dumbasses who are not aware of this XD
