Setsuru I agree with you. And honestly, I actually prefer that childbirth in Sims games be somewhat clean and as painless as possible. Not only because I would rather not see my female sims suffer in agony, but also because the machine they used is actually pretty funny.
Really wish we could create our own private clinic, like the vet offices, but actual ppl

I seem to recall Sims 2 having some decent hairstyles but Sims 3 dropped the ball. I'm still mad 70s, 80s, 90s didn't have at least an afro.
I agree. I played the free trial on Origin and was really proud of how much research they did on African-American hair. A complete transition from the lack of ethnic hair in TS2 and TS3. I got tired of having to google for hours for microbraids, dreadlocks, twists and high-top fades. Most sites ended up shutting down. And I overall lost my interest in The Sims. But this is making me interested again. Now if only they can bring back the AMAZING R&B station they made for The Sims 2. (I always had Somethin' Real and 2Night on repeat lol)

It's made like that because they can't have a mother pushing a baby out of herself or having a mother cut her stomach open to have her baby, this is a game played by kids and teenagers and it's a game, if you want real life births watch one happen in real life.
I think I'd be more creeped out by a Sims cartoon version of what actually happens during child birth.

I prefer The Sims 4 than The Sims 3 basic. But sims 3 is now more fun to play because all the expansion packs.. i get bored with the sims 4. But gah can't wait for this expansion pack and Pets,Seasons for sims 4 :DD

Well yeah, The sims 3 is awesome with expansion packs, but is freaking boring if it's just the base game. Unlike Sims 4, even though they deleted some features, it's still more enjoyable than Sims 3 base game.
Totally can't wait! If the shops system is similar to Sims 2 open to business then I'm done with my life. Really. Hopefully we'll get a magic expansion pack too sooner or later, it would be really awesome!

***** Learn to appreciate what you have with the game. If you don't enjoy it, play something else. Sims 4 right now is getting the same kind of treatment Sims 1 did when it came out. People for the most part didn't like it cause there really wasn't things to do other than send your sims off in a random car and keep their needs up. Sims 4 has potential just like Sims 1 did. Sims 1 lived up to that, and I'm sure Sims 4 will to with time.

People who say sims 4 is crap don't know what they are talking about. I think the Game itself will be much fun and smooth to play then the sims 3. I know loading screens are a bit of a let down but if you think about it they are there for a reason. They make the game much better in a sense that you can go anywhere and it's always filled with people and it doesn't lag. I bet sims 4 will have amazing expansions that will make it worth every penny. You just have to wait, if you compare the sims 4 with the sims 3 (just the base game) you wiill probably have much more fun playing with the 4'th
A bit like every other game out these days has Open World that causes issues? I am sorry, but that was an excuse for EA to avoid coding the game properly and I have had few issues with TS3's Open World as well and yes, I use a few mods to tidy things up but its all about how good your PC is, not everyone is playing on low end machines anymore
***** But it should work on all computers no matter what. You shouldnt have to buy a good computer just to play a game that lags badly

Since the game is T for Teen they likely had to stay away from the whole screaming labor pains, legs in stirrups, hoo has being ripped open and placenta thing that plagues women in real life.

I can't wait to get the EP. I love the open business careers. I'm most interesting of trying out the doctor career. I like how the doctor delivery the baby using the robot arm Crane. I also love the new hairs and cloths in the game too.

In the real game isn't similar like in this trailer at all
- the hospital doesn't look nice like in this trailer
- the patients in game just stand in the line and wait , no sitting on the chair
- the staff do nothing in the hospital
- if your sims are sick, you just have to order medicine through the computer

This got me so hyped! Anyone else super pumped about the fact that doctors can tell you the gender of a sim's baby?
So assuming you can follow your sims into the office building (let's see how long that lasts before it's cut for time restraints) then this EP is awesome. I hated the loading screens in Sims 4 and the cut-down neighbourhoods, but now I can see why - you really wouldn't be able to do this with an open world unless you had a mega PC. My only question: if you have a doctor and someone that is a shop owner, how long will it take to get through a single work day if you have to micro manage them both and a loading screen pops up every time you want to check the other's profess?

Yeah for Sims3 I paid a ton of money to get all the expansions but at least Sims3 had toddlers. But for me right now I rather play Sims3 than 4

I'm a little bit confused, is this expansion pack going to come with a new world? Because it looks like the hospital is in a new neighbourhood..
It looks like there will be a new neighbourhood judging by a deep look into the trailer x
It will probably be a new neighborhood inisde the pre-existing worlds. There seems to be 3 new ones. One with the hospital and the commissioner, another with some restaurants and shops (these two in Willow Creek) and a third one in Oasis Springs with the industrial zone.
This is of course my own opinion, we will see how it develops.
They said there was going to be a community lot centred neighbourhood with the pack and from the trailer we can see urban backdrop. I would guess that it'll be a new world made up of almost entirely work lots (hospital, police station etc) and business lots (that you can own). If it's what I think it is it's going to be amazing, definitely worth loading screens in my opinion.
