how about airport traveling, in this update, you can travel to other countries, the countries are: simsel, simolia, and simtaca. you can travel by boat and airplane, you can explore the airport/ airplane/ boat/ crews ship. it will take about 1:10 mins to travel. Hope you liked that idea!

tbh people are acting like every time a new pack comes out that isn't exactly like earlier sims game packs, ea forces us to give them money for it. If you dislike it, don'y buy it. I didn't care for the idea of vampires in my game, so naturally, i didn't buy it.i swear, people who've been playing for a while feel wayy too entitled to the packs they want. it isn't that serious, and honestly is kind of silly imho.
Yes it is that serious! we spend too much money! I have to pay $20 just to get actions that should already be included! Like I had to purchase the movie theater expansion just to have pop corn and be able to discuss whats on tv. Look at what you spend versus what you are actually getting. It is literally robbery! Yes EA spoiled us and we want our moneys worth.

Really liked World Adventures in Sims 3 so I really hope this can be as good and have real dangers with consequences, not just an "uncomfortable" moodlet.

I really like ancient stuff so I’m fine with this game pack, but I wish it was a full expansion like World Adventures with different worlds to explore...
The way I look at it, I'd rather stuff like this and Vampires that are kinda more obscure packs be limited to game packs, that way the really in depth expansion packs can be things that I know for a fact I'll use all the time. Get To Work is the only expansion that's a little unnecessary but it's still cool to have the extra career options that I can actually play.
Ikr? They should have prepared at least 3 new worlds. And I hope that world is not as dull as The Outdoor Retreat.

That would have been great. (Not the lodging type). I DONT KNOW OMG. i just find Sims 4 really boring. This pack is even incomparable to Sims 2 Bon Voyage. Again, it feels like there's nothing new in this game.

And? Castaway had them too. The loading screens are 1 minute at most and the areas without loading screens are bigger than the likes of Sims 1 and 2 (Outdoor Retreat's camping ground was pretty big without a loading screen). I much prefer loading screens as it means I can actually play the game, by the time I had all the expansions for 3 it was unplayable - I had to uninstall one to play another. Plus the world was so quiet, at least the worlds in Sims 4 are more populated.
If EA does not add an open world, it's possible that the seasons will come out in the game pack, why? in the sims 4 we have a map of the world so it would be necessary to make a new graphic for all cities. therefore, the only solution is to create a snow camp.

we had seasons in sims 2 and that had no open world and was still pretty good, I am glad the open world is gone, it was so empty (because all of the sims continued their working lives) whereas in 4 at least you get more people on the lots and the loading screens are short and the game is nowhere near as laggy.
Am I the only one who likes this pack and isnt complaining about seasons? Id rather explore a temple than worry about snow and rain tbh
When i first found out that this was going to be a vacation pack i was hoping that they would bring back Hotels, I think it kind sucks that you have to stay at a home lot... It feels the same for me. 🤔😒😨

so this is basically 15% of the content in world adventures for 50% of the price, right?
I'm also super excited to see how they pull this off without open world. There's probably one common area that's the size of a park, but I don't think the jungle section would be any larger than a neighborhood in Brindleton Bay, when it really needs to be as large as TS3's world to foster any actual sense of exploration. People will just figure out where everything spawns, and go around to it periodically. I don't know if the temples would be on the map or found in the jungle neighborhood, but I don't think there's gonna be more than two or three. Either way, I don't really care that much, as I won't be purchasing this.

It's so unpopular they let poseur archeologists carelessly demolish sites during excavation in reality. Hardly anyone cares about such archeology.

I hate that when I visit vacation locations, I see the same sims from my town. one thing I loved about the sims 3 World Adventures is when you went on vacation, you were really on vacation. You would see sims that represented the area you were visiting and if you went on a date, it wouldn't send you back home. The vacation experience was so much better!

I don't understand why this franchise has become gimmicky. I feel like the emotions were awesome at first, Get to work awesome at first, etc. Everything getss so old so quick. With the sims 3, there were so many activities I didnt even need all of the expansions and packs just to have something to do. For instance, I loved making my sims kids wake up on saturday to play in the sprinklers. It was a simple thing, it was a base game feature, yet it was a realistic, fun animation. Sims loved doing it, and i loved watching them do it. Well Sims 4 doesn't have that. That one activity is amongst many that should not have been taken away. I had hopes that the sims 4 would get better, but I guess I'll never know because I'm not willing to pay for something I'll be bored with in 3 days. Heres to sims 5?
For the same reason sims 3's gimmick was 'open world' and 'story progression' neither of them can live up to the sims 2 in gameplay. Sims 2 didn't need a gimmick and it was stable.

There was the same outcry when the sims 3 came out though, that's what gets me. People seem to forget, people were mad at the sims 3 because base game didn't come with pianos or hot tubs, there were no memories or cinematics.
So many were saying the exact same thing about sims 3; the store is milking us, there are no aliens, it feels stripped, pudding faces and rabbit holes were limiting etc.
People seem to go from one sims game, expecting exactly the same experience from the next and getting mad.
Luna Knight that is so true I remember people complaining about that especially the rabbit holes and now you can't even watch the building they work in lol just the street in front of your lot. I was good with the Sims 3 just wish the game ran well even on a good build the game runs choppy. I can't lie though Sims 4 is slacking compared to 2 and 3.
When I played the sims 3 I played with a family for many generations and now I can't get past the childhood of the first children because I'm already bored at that point. Hopefully The Sims 5 will be much better :)

Though this looks interesting, I still feel like EA is just more interested in money then actually giving us BIG SIMS CHANGING PACKS. I mean with all the money they are getting at least do something that other people couldn't easily do for free (mods). I'm not saying it's not a cool idea, I'm just saying with all we are paying for they could at least give us something that would change the game a bit more then most of the things they have been giving us.
I hope the sims 5 (if it is coming) has more for the amount of money we pay...

louis fill hey, I'm not saying I don't think they are cool ideas I'm just saying people can make bigger 'packs' and mods in less time then they can (for free) I love the sims but I just feel like maybe the packs are just a waste of money and I feel like they could at least give us something that actually changes the game instead of some build/buy and CAS items (with maybe one new ability). Which is why I don't really own any sims 4 packs other then a few that actually change the game. I mean with all the packs and stuff that's like 600 dollars.

It's looks ok but I feel like they should have just added that with out door retreat if anything since it's kinda of the same.. I feel like laundry stuff should have just been apart of the base game or in a free update.. Like toddlers but EA is money hungry now days.. Since with sims2 and 3 they put a lot of time and energy into there expansions packs. Now they just making game packs to get more money.. It's just sad that things.. Changed with the sims series a lot with how the make packs and stuff I love the sims but it's just very different. With sims 2 they had a lot of stuff in there especially with the base game alone.. And the same with sims 3 but with 3 they had 2 expansion packs a year now to be only one once a year it sucks...since things.. Are all about these stuff packs and these game packs.. Wish they would go back to the old days.. Must be a different team
It's a smaller team having to develop more complex AI and graphics, of course it's gonna take longer to bring expansions out, I agree EA is money hungry, all one has to do is look at Battlefront II for that, but take it out on the company, not the game devs

Marcus Sutton I noticed that too.. But the difference between 3 and 4 is that 3 gave us more expansion packs and more content, 4 hasn't gave us that.. Look at the base game it took them a long time to add ghosts and then even longer time to have toddlers and that should have been in the base game in the first place.. But then they decided to do game packs since they really want to milk there fans dry.. Which I don't respect, I wish that they would go back to giving more expansion packs over pointless game packs b/c at least with expansion packs I'm paying for more content and better game play with more opinions then paying more for less content with these game packs.. It's too cray and then everytime u look around.. They have a new stuff pack that doesn't really need to be added since its should just be In a free update

Omg sims!! This looks so amazing i can't wait to try it! I love how you guys added the darker tones! I can tell how hard it is to even make a lil' chunk of the game but you should add more mythology figures! Vampires was amazing 10/10 would recommend. But having more mythology creatures would be awesome. I get it takes such a long time working on repairs and such, but it would be amazing having more cool options to what your sim can be.💻😁

Okay so to anyone can you help me. I download cc for Sims 4 but one of them Is messing with my game but when I try and do the mod conflict detector it doesn't detect it. And I have way to much cc to just take them out and put them back in one by one. How could I fix that? And when I play with my household it says error logged clientdb and lastexception are causing the issues. But clientdb is apart of the game I believe so I don't know what to do.

yes, but they have learned that the game is so addictive people will pay even if they are given the bare minimum. I honestly don't think that they will release seasons until sales from sims 4 die down. Most new users don't know just how great the sims USE to be so they settle for trash. This keeps them making top dollar for ...pretty much nothing.

Tbh I'm not all that excited. I'll probably buy it or at least watch some videos to experience it myself but I'm going into it with low expectations.
The trailer makes it look like there's a lot to do but it's prob going to have 1 bazaar with just food stands and a dance area, a series of set paths that lead to the same temple, and only so many interactions in that temple.
But we'll see. Just my opinion.
I've been really excited for past packs and expansions so I'm not one of the 'fans' that hates on everything that comes out. The only other thing i really didnt like was Fitness Stuff.

Jeez EA. First you half assed the vampire expansion. Then pets, now world adventures? And then you slap some random ass name and different theme on it to disguise it? Do better.
It's sad, I doubt they will do better, people are excited and can't wait to throw their money at this. They have no reason to better themselves. They have just gotten lazy with a money for nothing attitude.

So they trade the mummy in for a jewel encrusted skeleton? It honestly screams a singular vacation spot out of World Adventures. I'm not saying I will not purchase it, but like the fitness pack and so many others, I refuse to pay full retail price for it and wait for another one of Origin's crazy super sales and hopefully get this much later on down the road for 65%-80% off

The sims 4 has grown on me but honestly after sims 3 it’s like I have to pick my battles :/ but I learned the hard way after getting too excited and buying certain packs that didn’t come with much of anything and then realizing I could’ve bought it later for way cheaper with those sales!!! Gonna wait to see reviews on it to see if it’s even worth buying at all but I do hope it is lol....
Even the sims 2 had an expansion pack with like 3 different places you could travel to and explore and the sims 4 just kinda give us 1 and call it a day.

That's not good you should probably judge it by it's quality if something is good or not. Just because it came doesn't automatically make it good. That leads to low quality content we all don't want that.

It's so unfortunate that they're taking this long to release game material. You do realize that in the time Sims 4 has been out that Sims 3 had nearly finished releasing all of it's expansion/stuff packs. Not to mention all the Sims 3 Exchange stuff which included whole worlds chock full of new in-game features and furniture. I'm sick of being "patient" and giving money to a company that no longer listens to what it's fans are saying.
Kaycee Kirkman you do know sims 3 has 2 studios working on it and the same engine from sims 2 while sims 4 has 1 studio and had to start from scratch because they’re using a new engine just like everyone else you’re just blindly complaining without doing any actual research

Zero Sims, jungshookii, That still doesn't change the fact that they're releasing half-assed game packs that could simply be added to an expansion pack. They're cutting away so much content by doings this. The few expansion packs we've had have been nice but still had so much less than what we are used to.

I'm so excited for this! World Adventures was my favorite expansion pack from The Sims 3.
This looks amazing! A pack that I think would be really cool as well is an instrument pack and now I know I know some of u might be like oh we already have instruments but tbh we only have a guitar piano and violin. My idea was to add more classical instruments and give sims the ability to play duets/trios or even create orchestras! I also think kid sims should be able to gain instrument skills but that's just a small detail. For CAS, there could be some very formal clothes but the main experience would be in build mode. I wouldn't expect it to be anything more than a game pack, probs even a stuff pack. Just something I was wondering about, what do you guys think?

Looks cool and all, but I bet it's one of those packs where you'll play for a few hours and then be done with it because you'll have explored everything there is to explore.
But I'll still get it for the new items etc, and the different dancing choreography.

The temples will change layouts, traps and loot randomly so unlike the tombs in 3, this will always be something new to explore.
"...always something new" is a stretch unless they have an infinite number of layouts, which I highly doubt.
Maybe, but world adventures offered 3 large destinations, this offers one small sized destination, still has loading screens all over, im not very excited about this one

They should do a cruise expansion pack, so then the limited space would be not a problem. Also you could go around the world. It would be really cool if they could do this. But I don’t expect it cause the EA doesn’t look at comments.

That would be better than this. If you couldn't provide us with huge open world, do at least the best by making it a finite space instead of trying to make forest, jungles and mountains seems "infinite" and failed doing that.

we will release all four seasons, but in separate game packs each 6 months out of each other. That way we make more money!

Dawn Gēmu will you please stfu. They're probably working on seasons or another ep. EA is listening to us. We asked for a pets ep, then we got cats and dogs. We asked for a generations pack then got parenthood.
To be fair, in sims 3 the seasons and university packs cane out like 3 years into the games release. I really want this pack (I loved World Adventures,) but it does kinda suck that expansions take a year it seems. I really want seasons, university and a supernatural pack. But I gotta wait for those.

I feel like peeople forget that all these major expansions were released a lot sooner in previous games. Sims 4 takes forever. And probably coz they keep putting focus on smaller stupid packs. I'm sure their team is big, but they need to expand more to put more people in charge of major expansions so they will get done faster, and WAY smaller teams for the game packs. I just feel its not balanced well. The ONLY game pack I wanna see is a Career based one. With new "rabit hole Careers" as well as get to work type careers. I'm tired of my sims being the same things that dont even fit who I think they are.
I just want to say that this sounds like an awesome pack and I really can't wait for it, so thanks you to all the developers who worked so hard for it!!!

In the end it looked like you could take a skeleton home, which is probably the only thing I'm excited about in this game pack. Come on EA, give us university or seasons! 😔

I feel like everyones forgetting this is TS4. And that there's only going to be a few lots to visit not like an open world in TS3. That means one pyramid to visit every time you visit the vacation world. The concept isn't going to match how it did with WA.

lViry77 They could do DLC of all worlds, but trust me it would not be a stuff pack. And since the base game, which is $60 dollars has three worlds, I would assume a $40 expansion would have only two worlds if it was just one. If you want gameplay that forget about another worlds.
