I agree with everything except for open world. It was a feature taken out purposely to reduce game lag .

Luxury Party was good! I will be honest, I kinda wished it had just a few more outfits and items befitting a luxurious party, but I am willing to enjoy the clothes that were there. I actually got Luxury Party alongside Vintage Glamour. I bet with Get Famous It's even better! Luxury Party was a good starting pack for the Sims 4 stuff packs, and for what's to come later on.😃😄🎊🎉

*MY HONEST REVIEW OF LUXURY PARTY STUFF*
- CAS
Well, it's sort of limited. I'm just going to complain about the clothing for the male sims. It's too bright and sparkly for my liking, I mean, some people WILL like those clothing, but this just make my sims look like a living, walking disco ball. I would not use it THAT often since my sims wouldn't throw luxurious parties, but it just seems appropriate for the theme of the stuff pack. The female clothing is also appropriate for the theme of the stuff pack, I will be using the dresses often but maybe not the strapless shirt and the pants.
- ITEMS
Oh come on, this stuff pack only contains these items:
- 3 Lights
- A circular table
- A bar
- A cuboid table
- A barstool
- A chair
- That flat sofa thing...
- 2 Buffet table
- A chocolate fountain
12 Objects. Wow.... 12 objects. Despite being 40 CAS Items, it does not cover up the lack of stuff. I mean, this is a Stuff Pack, you have to add more stuff, not just 12. I mean, in previous version of stuff packs, you get more than 12, like 30+ objects or something like that. But 12? And the fact that there is 40 CAS items doesn't cover up for this stuff pack. The addition of buffet tables and a chocolate fountain doesn't cover up too, if you want to make a stuff pack, add more stuff at least! You can higher the price of the stuff pack, but add more items so it will be worth it.

thanks....I was hoping it was apartments being introduced...I haven't bought the get to work or planning on buy luxury stuff...not sure if I will be buying anything any more to do with the sims....waiting to see a few more worlds and some improvements like apartments, locked doors, supernaturals....just more
rye encoke Get to Work and Luxury Party stuff are both worth purchasing. The gurus have mentioned many times that locking doors is a priority, but in the mean time you can download the locking doors mod.

If it's because she's worried about payment security, reassure her of how massive origin are and there's absolutely no chance of her card details being at risk.
fira katycat It's called go to your local Walmart/Target/Gamestop and buy a Sims 4 origin game card. Its costs $25 and when you redeem it on Origin it adds $25 to your Origin Account (Or an EA Game card)
fira katycat You just go to Gamestop and ask them to buy it. It works for me, that's how I have Sims Medieval.
I have to admit i'm disappointed with this.. personally use mods so clothing/hairstyles don't impress me at all here, paying 10 euros for a chocolate fountain doesn't seem worth to me.

Gabriel Klinw is it ''cheap''? I've bought the stuff pack because i'm a Sims enthusiast, but for people who can't afford to spare the 10 euro I don't really think it's that cheap. Some people can only buy 1 expansion pack out of 10, because they're on a budget or their family can't afford to pay bills let alone buy a stuff pack for a game. I can't justify it being cheap for these people, and I sympathize with them because they might feel like they're ''missing out''. Let me tell you, if you can't afford the pack, you're not missing much. :)

The lacking features just do not compensate for the things they made and the amount of money that you have to spend to enhance the game experience with sims 4 just does not compensate. It is better to spend money with past games than this one.
This game was an insult to us, the costumers and fans!
I fear for this franchise, I really think they are investing in another type of players, those who are casual and do not have the notion of how more complete the past games were.

Gabriel Klinw That is the wrong approach to have with the costumers, thinking that the game is up to the developers. Yes the developers are the ones who create the game, but dont forget that WE are the ones who buy the game. That arrogance is what is killing this franchise. If the game was just for the developers they would not sell it, but rather use it for themselves.
Take the example of the posture of the creators of Cities Skylines, they listened to what the public whnated and made their own game that met the expectations of the public, and that is why it is being a huge success, while simcity2013 went downhill!!

There are some objects that look pretty nice, but for me It is still too soon to decide. First I will see what lets players will show about this pack and then, when the price drops, I might consider buying it.

Did they foreal just throw this pack together in like 3 days? Stuff packs are normally filled with a lot of stuff! This has nothing compared to sims 3. Gt was pretty bad too! CC has way better stuff then this for free. Sims 4 just wants to flop on its own.

I'm really disappointed with this pack as far as content fairness goes. I mean 31 new items for females and 9 items for males really :[ . You may as well just take the male sims out of the game.

LifeTheReaper Honestly, I usually create female sims and that's literally down to the lack of male things. I hope the sims creators go all out at one point and create a lot more clothes for guys. I really wouldn't mind if they created a whole stuff pack focused on guy stuff and gave a few stuff to females.

Great, only 10 or so stuff pack releases left until The Sims 4 finally fucking dies. Piece of crap.
I am also quite disappointed with this game, but I do not think it is a piece of crap. For me this looks more of a game with potential, but that it is still incomplete. Compaired with sims 3 which had Create a style open world, and even sims 2, my personal favourite, that gives you the chance of making your own neighborhoods, this game is still not satisfactory compared with its predecessors. The only thing that I absolutelly adore in sims4 is CAS, but that unfirtunatelly does not compensate for the lacking features.
blueangel134 I hate CAS in The Sims 4. And I get the feeling the whole "body sculpting" thing is just a cheap substitute for a proper user interface. With sliders I always knew what I was doing. With body sculpting, I never know whether clicking on an nose and moving the mouse forward changes it bigger, or wider, or whatnot.
Potential alone doesn't make a good game. Potential doesn't make anything really. The Sims 4 lacks pretty much every major feature the previous two games brought to the series but doesn't bring anything of it's own either. And realistically speaking I'm pretty certain they won't return later. And even if they would, why the heck would I pay extra to get back features that that the previous game already had?
Maxwell Tanner Exept on your opinion about CAS, I completelly agree with what you said, potential with this franchise is not going to be enough. I also lost hope. I don't believe they will meet the expectations of the public who remembers the other games. Some people think the sims2 is dead, but actually it still has a very active community nowadays. Indeed it is better to go back to past games and live again the features that exist on those games and are not present on sims 4. Like I said in other comments, I was really disappointed with GTW, and I found abysmal how few people spoke about of how shamefull was magnolia promenade, a new neighborhood that only had 4 lots!!!!
I think the creators are focusing in another type of audience, this game, with the exeption of CAS, does not stimulate creativity in comparison to the previous games.

I have to say it’s one of my least favorite packs because it lacks on gameplay, but Luxury Party Stuff has really few stuff and, with the exception of the chocolate/juice fountain, it does not have gameplay. Of course, I respect your opinion and I am just sharing mine.
