The situation is very simple, in the past games a lot of features were included in the base game. Toddlers is an entire life stage so their lack is not debatable, they existed in the sims franchise since ts2, for 10 years, so YES ts4 team had the obbligation of including them on the base game PERIOD!

Of they added toddlers then they would have to recreate the entire game. EA said that toddlers would've made the game super glitchy and not available for everybody to play. This is also the SIMS 4! Not the ts2 or ts3 or ts1. EA is creating the sims 4 based of of the Sims 3. There were NO HOT TUBS in the base game, so they added a expansion, which costs way more money than a stuff pack which is $10. You also need to stop saying that EA steals money or takes money from simmers. Most of that money goes into upgrading their workplace, added new expansions/game packs/stuff packs, upgrading the sims 4with some new FREE content, and some goes to charities. EA probably won't make the The Sims 5, since a bunch of idiots are trying to find every little bug about this game and complain about it. Complaining will get you no where. So you bette shut the hell up and enjoy game as it gets better and becomes the number 1 game in the world.

We Live in a free world and I am entitled to have my opinion. Wulf Simmer Also, if they really were trying to fix how people view EA, which having stuff packs that bring 1 minor game-play changing object in to the game is making my opinions worse, they would release it for free just like sims 3 & sims 2. Notice how we don't have Create a style, mod support like they promised, toddlers, etc. They released an expansion called 'get to work' where there is only three careers and one where you can own a business with horrible features. EX. If you owned a restaurant/bakery the sims who purchase food don't even sit down at a table to eat. Smh.
