- Welcome to the skyrim zombie apocalypse! Today I will be seeing if I can survive just 7 Days in an undead apocalypse! We will be playing with the gate to sovingarde modpack and draugnarok a special mod that simulates the zombie like dragur descending from the tombs like bleak falls barrow and starting to besiege the many holds of skyrim. Soon the civil war and alduin seem less important as the undead are going to destroy the world! Of course I The Spiffing Brit will be doing my very best to survive and see if in this new hardcore survival game experience I am able to win!

The fact Spiff did not know Falkreath has the biggest graveyard in Skyrim and almost got killed for it is greatly amusing.
Yeah, he said he was going to Falkreath, and I started praying it would go as I expected. Prayers were answered so wonderfully

To be completely fair. I. The base game one npc tells you it’s the largest graveyard, and there’s like 3 graves, less than in white run hold

Mod list?
Take cart. Go to Whiterun. Kill Belethor, grab Lydia, go to the Honey Mead Brewery, have a nice cold pint, and wait for all of this to blow over. How's that for a slice of fried septim? 😜

I really appreciate how Spiff can add 1000+ mods to Skyrim and it’s still decidedly recognizable Skyrim

Solitude Broke Before The Guard!
In the first wave, in the first battle, one stood
Solitude Guard was freaking awesome, the true hero of Skyrim. Solitude will stand as long as he is there to defend it
Even when tge foundations have long turned to dust, the solitude guard will still be there (though they might be a Draugr at that point!)
I am going to download Skyrim again, I am going to play this mod, and I am going to call my character, Solitude Guard.
Yeah. Called that. For those who don’t know, you *can* survive, there is a stage 4, aftermath, but the mod designer strongly recommends you get into a large city and ‘be geared and levelled’ before activating the mod. You can also slow the pace of progression - which I think would actually make a good longer set of videos for Spiff, as it would actually challenge the Lord of Skyrim Exploits to play the game(tm) - plus, Frostfall and everything else just make for a great experience…. Although I do note he has all the slow progression stuff on, as well, so… maaaaaybe have the danger level go up once a week? :-)
UNRELATERD, but as a fellow Skyrim player I've found out where Todd kepps his pets Dragons, out of bounds in Markarth, a quest was telling me to kill a dragon on some mountain but the marker kept saying that it was in Markarth. I was so confused and I decited to follow the maker and there was so many dragons. I didn't actually complete the quest because it crashed, it just works. Anyway love the chaos our Lord created for us
If this can be done with the skyrim multiplayer mod, I'd love to see a band of noble heroes try to defend a settlement from the undead waves

Skyrim has some nasty creatures that we kinda just get used to because they frequently infest caves, like hagravens, or we're constantly travelling so we see them more often than I'm sure the average person would in-universe

Dougdoug pitted several skyrim cities against endless waves of bears. If I remember correctly, Riften was surprisingly the sturdiest defense by a mile.

I figured out a way to get on top of one of the highest buildings there once. I figure, the bears can't get up there, can they? Maybe with humans piloting them, but not Skyrim pathing

I absolutely loved this video, But what I think would have been cooler would be if you were a heavy 2 handed warrior with spells that could heal the guards. You would have been able to save those guards at Solitude and fight on endlessly. Solitude: The last hope of mankind

Spiff could make this into a series where he tries to survive 7 days as different builds and characters to see which is superior in a zombie apocalypse
we need sequals of this with different builds, different challenges, and a mod list. This was fantastic
Honestly, Mage is probably the best for this type of scenario, you just need to survive long enough to get some high powered AoEs
I'd love a sequel to this where you are allowed to cheese the game. Empower yourself and see if you can actually turn the tide.

He can't with that mod pack, there's very very few cheeses and exploits that still work.
That was a fun challenge to watch, I'd love to see you take another crack at it with different tactics. The summon worked great, maybe combo that with stealth archery and a companion for maximum distractions against the hordes, bonus points for raising the undead to fight each other too, the more chaos the fewer undead looking at you even when they can see you.
Spiff playing hella modded Skyrim? Love it!

the safes place would be winterhold or more acurately the collage of winterholds and its multiple high level mages
That or markarth because it has tons of guards and mercenaries along with it's verticality so the guards could shoot arrows
There are some excellent places in solitude where you can walk along the roofs without being seen and snipe things. If you tried this challenge with archery that would work well
Honestly getting into a random city in the night and hearning a Draugh start shouting without seeing it.

I swear... so many of the mods I see are amazing... just like the expanded solitude one adding the lower city around it... Just amazing.
Also, some of the stores during the most recent Black Friday literally got a half dozen to two dozen people wondering the large stores, simply walking around or buying their usual groceries.
Yeah, online shopping has made Black Friday a less visible event. And the fact most retailers are running the deals through most of November now.

He was doing so good. Glad to see the summoner mage build for the survival game. Might be more ideal as a high elf because they start with higher magic, but breton is also good for this because they have magic resistance and a lot of draugr can cast spells

Agreed, but WITH the zombies. This looks freaking amazing. Playing it as a non-dragonborn is just the icing on the cake.

I came into this expecting the chap to keep his calm and composure intact, at least until the first horde shows up. I'm only up to the white sabre cat on day 1, and I love this video so much better than I already would've done with my prior expectations.

i recommend Markarth next time. High areas would make it incredibly hard to invade. Also High Hrothgar. Both would make funneling the undead very easy.

I feel like a school of Restoration would be better here, considering the amount of spells to deterr undead and heal the caster. Quick rush to Winterhold to that healer granny and get whatever neccessary for survival there. But that would be a story for another time.

I would absolutely love a list of some of the mods shown here. Ive seen the map one before and used it well but the extended towns and cities really help make the place actually seem inhabited... Well before the zombies went and killed everyone
