DK's voice is the first k-pop male idol's voice i fall in love with because it's so clear and strong, a tone different from others I've heard, it's also versatile and I love how it pierces through my ears when I listen to him sing (in a good way) and also listening to his singing feels like he presents his voice as it is,like not trying to perfect his vocals but singing the way his voice naturally is

When I heard DK sing for the first time, my jaw dropped. I found going seventeen and then listened to their killing voice, and I was not expecting one of the funniest members to also have such an amazing voice. I had heard seungkwan before, but dang DK was amazing. Immediately started falling in love with all of their music. Really all of the members are soooooo talented, I didn't expect a group who also spends so much time making variety content and who is known as the most synchronized kpop group to also somehow have found time for so much vocal training.

Coming from an non carat (I do know of svt they're one of the best bg's of this generation no doubt) , I heard DK's part in HOT and wow was I impressed , his part got my attention the most so I had to know who he was . Then I watched him in killing voice , man CAN SING. definitely one of the best kpop voices out there . The way he changes notes and how the high notes sound pleasing to the ear (not like screaming at all) is so impressive. I really like this guy I became his fan !!

I've been listening to lots of KPop vocals and gotta admit that DK's voice is among the most stable voices that I've heard, and I enjoy his voice the best. Big voices like Chen and Changmin, also my favorites, are a bit too sharp. DK, despite his super wide range, has a warmer and softer quality. Very good and smooth transition across registers, stable breathing support in all situations even when he's dancing, and the diversed emotions that he can convey -- all convince me that he's the best voice in Kpop industry. I also love DO's voice, but it's another story.

I remember AKMU Suhyun saying that she wants to be a singer to whom singing comes naturally as if like she is talking. And whenever I look at DK I can feel it. He has become so natural with music, and singing has become natural for him. The love for music is evident in him, even a veteran ballad Korean singer admired and complimented him by saying that he could see that DK loves singing.
And the thing you mentioned at the end of video about him crying during pre-debut days. I also remember vividly that in 17 Project, when sunbaes or people who were judging SVT praised Seungkwan for his vocals although DK was the official main vocalist then. And, both DK and Seungkwan felt bad; DK for him not able to prove himself as main vocalist for group and Seungkwan for DK not being praised as hyung and as main vocalist. Seriously, they already won my hearts then.

When I say Ive been waiting for this video lol! But yessss, DK has been killing it and doing better and better. I want him to sing Little Price again just so he can show off how much he has improved since 2015!

I remember when he cried in Seventeen Project because those critics said that he is not enough. They are all wrong. He is the living proof that with determination and willing to learn, you will shine.

I’ve been a kpop fan since 2009 and I can wholeheartedly say that DK’s voice is my favorite. The way he sings is so effortless and so versatile. The high notes are so pleasant, NOT PAINFUL AT ALL. It can make you think that some are just born with it.

After going to a Be The Sun concert DK became my bias wrecker. His live vocals (and visuals) are no joke, and he's honestly just super considerate and sweet, everyone in the arena was going 'Awwww' during his intro on stage. His voice is unbelievable.

PERFECT, and I mean PERFECT commentary! As a classically trained vocalist DK has been on of my favorite voices of all time in K-pop. No matter my mood his voice can fit it so well with absolute clarity and depth in the same stroke. Doesn’t hurt anybody that he looks like that too! 🤣😍

It was so clear and rich and he has this charismatic look when he sing. And after binge watching videos of DK, I became hooked with Seventeen also and now I've became one of their fan. Hahahaha!

Great video!!!! I am a new fan to seventeen, (3 months). I first get to know them through his latest song SUPER, and i started watching them for the dancing until i heard as a 3rd song HOT and i said to myself who the hell sing this (dk lines at the begining) 'cause it's freaking amazing!!! i fell in love immediately with his voice! Then i realised along the way they all sing great, especially dk, seungkwan and woozi. But dk's voice gets me so much in every single song and every single ad lib he does. He has a huge variety of tone, although my favourite tone are the ones like in home or thanks. when he sings, it gets under my skin and give me chills every single time!!! And he also seem so passionate about singing and always with a smlie. Such a lovely kid!!! (yes kid, i am much older than him) i hope we can continue hearing his voice for many many more years!

If you watch any of SVT content you just wouldn't think this guy sings like this. I only recently got into Seventeen and I was shocked, you really don't hear enough appreciation for DKs voice in the industry. For me DK and Onew are the most amazing vocalist in Kpop.

Before becoming a carat, I was just a random listener to kpop since my school days. But DK was the first who caught my attention first with his visual and then his voice and humour sense. However, I feel carats are sleeping on him as his fancams have very less views. Also, the big smile that he put on while hitting high notes make me admire him even more. We don't deserve him.
