I thought so too, but after following these two for years on their blog, I only found out recently just how difficult and stressful watching Kdramas for a living can be.
I like that Lee Min Ho’s character is so into math and science, it gives him an excuse to explain things and it also makes him not just a spoiled king.
Seeing lee minho in a drama again made me realize why he’s my first kdrama man crush ever. He’s so incredibly good looking and his lines made me SWOON. He delivers and there was nothing cringey for me. This drama is weird and funny in its own way
Honestly I wouldn’t mind if the ladies started their own KRplus channel and just do live reviews of episodes. I’d definitely watch it. Really missing Javabeans and Girlfriday!

Omg yes, I usually read the recaps on dramabeans to see what theories they have of the current dramas airing and to get kind of another point of view of the dramas I’m watching, but they’ve been total haters of TK:EM since the beginning. I gave them another chance with the later episodes but they still treated the drama like a story written by a preschooler, I was very disappointed that they would treat such a genius plot as something insignificant!!

Search youtube for "Dramabeans Korean drama". They did write a few KRplus videos back on the day. But click on the thumbnails where you see these two ladies. I notice there is another You tube channel using the name "dramabeans" and it's just a robot voice reading the current episode recaps from the actual Dramabeans site. I don't even know if that KRplus channel is legit run by the new owners of Dramabeans or not.
This is definitely an upgrade from the podcast. As if hearing the two ladies’ commentary in the podcast is not enough to make u laugh, able to see their full facial expression while delivering it is totally a whole new experience that had me in stitches from start to finish. Miss reading your writing jb and gf.
This is a riot. Now I miss your dramabeans podcasts. And the drinking while commenting on the silly stuff that dramas do and then giggling like the fangirls that we all are. Lol.
I have so many things to say! It has been lovely seeing you both again after so long. I have missed reading your funny quirky unique reviews. And have to say finally feeling more interested about this show. I was bit bummed when I saw so many people criticizing the show , I mean yeah sure it'S their opinion. But I feel like sometimes some shows don't get due credit cause people miss seeing the points. Kim Eun Sook is over the top at times yes haha, but she knows how to build up a new world every time and I felt like you girls here, that it is funny and silly when Lee Min Ho's gravitas is being used for comedic purpose. Like some were saying do women really just gawk at men cause they are so handsome? But lol that's the whole point of kdramas lol, we have these alpha heroes who are swoon worthy and at the same time we know we are making fun of ourselves and them when we go gaga fangirling over them haha. And KES knows how to do it well. Anyway thank you so much for the fun review! I think Min Ho's character is not 'self absorbed" so much that he is painfully honest. He knows how he sounds to Tae Eul ( you would see in future episodes) but he is not going to lie about anything because that is not his nature and he knows he can eventually prove himself right. He also doesn't treat Tae Eul as stupid either despite the fact he could know not everyone is as good and smart as him about parallel world and theoritical mathematics and what not. He trusts her to keep up even if she doesn't believe shit.
