I love Ju Ji Hoon's character.. He is not your typical masculine fearless warrior.. He is scared,vulnerable and worried about others..He shows a wide range of emotions here..

I'm contented that songjoongki did not accept the role of crown prince here ,. He's such a baby(pretty face) for this show . Joo ji hoon is always fit to be a role of prince on any kdramas/movies. KINGDOM IS MY FAVORITE TO WATCH ALL OVER AGAIN

Kingdom is such a well-made series. The direction and cinematography is so magnificent, the acting is so on point, the writing is great, and the production design is so epic. Season 2 is even better than season 1. SEASON 3, PLEASE COME SOONER!! π€©π€©

As for everyone including me whoβs done watching S2, the year-long agony of waiting begins.
I love how thereβs also a mix of humor mixed in with the grave situation and certain death scenarios. Beom-palβs wild sword-swinging on the frozen pond was hilarious, heβs so animated!

Kingdom isn't just one of the THE best Korean zombie shows - it is one of THE BEST EVER - hands down. It beats anything else I've seen. Amazing cinematography, writing, acting - it literally has everything. Put your fear of subtitles to one side and watch this show. THIS IS HOW IT'S DONE!

@lily you don't watch Asian movies I'm guessing. Asians have been doing zombie movies and shows for as long as I've been alive. Most of the ones I've watched are all period pieces and some old enough that the zombies hopped instead of being as sophisticated as they are in Kingdom.
@lily are you dumb? Jiangshi is the Chinese version of zombies/vampires. You asked if there was ever a zombie period time piece and when given the example of old Chinese/Hong Kong movies you whine about it being Jiangshi instead of western style. Kingdom is written, directed and acted by Koreans with adaptations on what their zombies are. It's not western, it's God damn Korean. In 2020, whether you're from Korea or Canada, the most accepted iteration of the modern zombie is one that bites to infect and become undead. However, all past and cultural adaptations of the zombie/undead have root in creating the current modern zombie.

The production was so good, I mean its my first time actually watching a zombie-related series without getting bored in an episode. And its so good that the epidemic actually had an origin and is slowly explained throughout the episodes. Acting, Costume, Story-line, make-up, everything abt this is hands down so good. A must watch.

I really like seo bi's character. She's smart and determined π and I've been stanning ju ji hoon since his 1st appearance in Korean drama. His acting is always top notch! π
It's 2022 and I've watched both seasons like thrice, I think. I keep coming back cuz the story is so relevant....and yes, i still find myself screaming and terrified of the zombies. :) Season 3 is taking FOREVER to come out! hahaha! (I've watched Ashin of the North- and it's great too! But can't help but miss the Crown Prince. He's an amazing actor (and so handsome too!)
Just after few second playing this I'm getting goosebumps right away
Because of the fast pacing of Kingdom, I keep forgetting this is a series, I see this more as a movie. I watched both seasons in 1 sitting. Prince Chang character is so engaging you can't help but root for him. And Seo-bi is probably one of the strongest and interesting female characters-she didn't have to be all wonder-woman like to be bad-ass. Even the secondary characters are interesting and have depth.
Netflix please keep this series for long time, this series is seriously great, the best zombie series ever

@@christhelcuazon2131 I don't think so that he is the mole. I think the mole there is the one who's an expert using the gun. His character is questionable from the start, when he didn't even eat a bowl of the soup he suggested to prepare.

Mu was sent by the father of the queen as a spy. In return his wife will be spared because he was caught stealing medical records of the king in the episode 1 season 1.
I just Binge watched the 2 seasons in 2 days ππ and Seo bin became my favorite π€ .. I love how smart and brave she is. I just hope that in season 3 I could watch more of her fight scenes using swords π π. I mean how cool will that be ππ she deserve to be seen more than being nurse..
