You know what I realised. HB was so respectful towards YJ. He never give her unwarranted touch.. when she stumbled into his arm notice his hands is wide open and away from her body.. there is also another scene when the train to pyongyang got delayed and they have to exit the train to camp on the field.. he led her down by offering his arm not giving out his hand.. and thats what i call a respectful man

It's no wonder a lot of people (myself included) wish they really are together in real life, because it will explain that palpable chemistry.
I've seen all of Son Ye Jin's dramas and films and no other lead male character she was partnered with had the CLOY chemistry as with Hyun Bin.
I mean, in the film The Negotiation, they don't even meet in person until the last 20 minutes of the film and yet their chemistry there was so strong no laboratory could have withstood the reaction.

The only k-drama series i dont mind having a second season. It ended in such a perfect way. The plot is unique and the characters are very likeable. A great mixture of comedy, drama, action and romance. This is one of the best Kdramas i watched and i highly recommend it! 10/10 ๐

@@winniechau5934 they are human beings before being idols, and as such, they have rights and human needs. And if we truly like them, we must respect and understand their decisions. Its not that hard when you don't see them as products but as a fellow human being like yourself.
I love how Hyun Bin is so respectable towards women. You can see when Son Ye-Jin was jumping on him or giving him tight hugs on the rehearsals or during shooting of that post-paragliding scene, whenever Hyun understood that scene is not going in the show, he didn't touch Son Ye-Jin. He kept his hands off her and didn't show any clingy move rather he chose not to touch her by her waist. That scene made me a fan of him cause we don't really see such modesty among actors these days. Everyone is so touchy and there's Hyun Bin who didn't even touch his ex/coworker unnecessarily.

What made me fall in love with the show was because of this exact reason. The modesty in this live story no sex scenes no inappropriate jokes that make you uncomfortable. As a Christian woman thatโs a hopeless romantic and is waiting until marriage this was perfect

Arley & ivyy.wg, I really admire Seo Dan's courage. She has a firm look but you can tell through her eyes that she is so sad. From loving someone for a long time and never loved back. And then she found new love but was taken so soon. That's very heart breaking. Atleast she felt true love even for a short time. A true love that she will carry in her heart for life. At the last episode I saw true happiness and contentment in her eyes. And that made me cry.

I don't know if anyone will see this or not. But I totally believe that this drama became a huge success, not only because of it's beauuutiful story line but also because it showed strong elements such as friendship between yoon se ri and the soldiers, how they risked everything for each other even though they weren't related. And also how se ri was betrayed by her siblings. Who really loved and cared for her were people who she spent a short but memorable amount of time with. Also how the families at the village stood up and defended each other, the strong bond they shared as well. I cried a ton of tears during the last episode, well done to all the actors and actresses, how they portrayed raw emotions. I totally felt itttt. I will never be able to get over this drama for yearss.

I finally get why Hyun Bin admire SYJ for her ideas and called her a great onscreen partner. Just watching this, SYJ is the queen of improvisation. She adds a lot of things that would improve the scenes/characters. Maybe in the future SYJ could even direct her own drama.
We srsly need more dramas like this! Just the perfect mix of everything - made us all laugh, cry, get anxious and fall in love over and over again! Definitely a drama that will be remembered and talked about even in the years to come! Job well done to the entire cast and crew of CLOY!! I love older Hyun Bin so much more than younger Hyun Bin. They have that perfect introvert (hb) and extrovert (Syj) chemistry. I love how they included it in storyline basically everyoneโs admiration for him. That NIS scene where they were showing โundercoverโ scenes of him but they were all chivalrous acts had me cracking up. The comrades also cracked me up. Writing was witty. Like where the idol like soldier kept running into โproblemsโ like YG entertainment trying to recruit him.

I've watched BTS for Hyde Jykell, Me & Something in the Rain & Memories of Alhambra, the off screen chemistry is none like Hyunbin and Sonyejin. The other actresses seem like his acting colleagues but Son Ye Jin is an exception. Hyunbin has always been very introverted and Sonyejin has always been very likeable and cheerful. Although Hyunbin can look serious, but there is a stark difference when he is with Sonyejin, he doesn't mind initiating holding hand by crossing fingers etc, he's way more bubbly around Son Ye Jin.
It's hard to believe that they are not in a relationship, but if revealing it does more harm than good for both, I, as a CLOY fan will definitely support concealing the relationship until it fully matures and when they are ready to make it public.

Second, everyone was talking so much about the ending, I knew it was a happy ending but wasn't sure why everyone was talking especially about the ending!! And now I know why, it was not only a happy ending but such a beautiful ending.๐โฅ๏ธ

Well how to say it, just think about why SYJ has no rumours with her co-actors over the last two decades. She really is a professional actress who can differentiate herself with the character she falls in love with. I would rather hope they wont fall in love bcuz of the characters and later find out they dnt actually love each other.
