Nahh she didn't deserve that ending. It sucks this amazing drama had a sloppy love story. She was a hypocrite, selfish, and a manipulator. She literally put everyone's life at risk for own intentions including betraying her long time friend. Even left him to die....smh.

Also yiseo-her mom relationship is one of my favorite in kdrama history! When her mom mad bc she chose not to go to college and work in danbam, yiseo stands by her decision, calmly assuring her mother that she's gonna be succes and not just end up being pub owner's wife. "Thats not how i raised" 👏👏
No unnecessary fight, no shouting like a rebel kid usually do. She knows she disappointed her mother, but yiseo makes sure her mother knows she has clear goal and not just blindly take decision bc of love. She even contemplating at the bridge after moving out from her house 💖

Its rare to find this kind of character, been watching kdramas for years and i never found any character development like here in Itaewon Class.
I also very much aware that the storyline is based on webtoon with a little fix here and there. I didnt say it was applicable in real life (eventho its not impossible) so im not sure why you have to mention anything about it being unrealistic 😊

I started realizing that when he told Yi Seo that he didn't sleep well and said it was because of nostalgia (among other things), I knew that he just had leftover middle school nostalgia feelings for her and couldn't quite come to terms with his feelings for Yi Seo, since he was romantically immature.
He did finally say love her in his own way . He is too shy to say love ❤️ you aloud

The mother is great actress. She is very dynamic. I can see and distinguish the difference of her roles in Itaewon and Vincenzo which she take the role of a lawyer.
I thought the same, I just finished vinzenco ( trying really hard to find something similar) , she's a great actress, so cruel in Vincenzo, so calm in the story of parks marriage contract, and her character here, she's so versatile

The only drama that made me feel like I was enjoying a ride with my friends and that neither one of us knew it would lead us to a beautiful destination. Each episode was fantastic and it had a perfect ending. Even for Soo-Ah, I almost felt sad for her but then all of a sudden here comes Park Bo-Gum haha. One of the best

Lol omg I know some were hoping Saeroyi ended up with Soo-ah but I go back to that convo she and Yi-seo have twds the end and it's so true, Soo-ah never fought for him. Despite knowing how capable he was, she never factored in just how much he had to fight against but her own survival (which is fine but...). Yet he pushed thru for her and she was just waiting to collect. Yi-seo a different type of chick. She, like Saeroyi was confident they'd be successful in whatever they put their mind to. Her drive matched his and she literally put her life on the line to help him do the heavy lifting so to speak. And then together they worked towards greatness. I was so happy with the ending. They both deserved each other. If it ain't this, I dont want it.😂😂😂.

totally agree! Yi-seo definitely deserves Saeroyi's love more than anyone. She keeps fighting for him to get rid of his enemies and helps him to reach his dream like a warrior. The best part is she never gives up her hope for Saeroyi's love. Such a strong and sweet woman. I love her and thank the story writer to portrait such a unique character.

Me too and I'm too old to be doing that!! I had to binge watch it after I saw the final episode just because that's what I am used to and I started to watch it again bc some people were bashing Yi Seo calling her crazy and mean. I think most of the characters were a little dysfunctional and needed therapy and a mental evaluation but Yi Seo was the only one that got a possible diagnosis.

Itaewon Class was beautifully done. I just loved how it ended. The story, the characters, the diversity, the revenge, the acceptance, the forgiveness, the success and the love. I’m so glad Saeroyi succeeded, it was inspiring. I’m also glad he chose Yi-seo over Soo ah. Yi-seo deserved Saeroyi’s love more. This is my favourite kdrama and it really resonates with me. I never knew I could love a show so much where it has me thinking about it a lot. I hope I’m able to find unconditional love one day. I really learned a lot from Saeroyi. Being honest with yourself is very important. This show is going to take me a while to get over it.

Park Seo-jun blew me away in Itaewon Class - his acting and expressions one his face was outstanding - I also loved the lead female - thought she was outstanding as well - but could not leave this show as it kept me so entertained, such a great story line - I find most of the Korean TV shows have great stories, but I do like Park Seo-jun as an actor, as I have watched him in Hwarang and Secretary Kym and again outstanding with the expression on his face, tells you exactly what he is thinking - loved it heaps
I’ve watched just about all of PSJ dramas. I think his chemistry with Kim da mi is so underrated probably because they didn’t have that many romantic scenes.
I don't think I'll ever stop talking about this kdrama.
