All of iPhone features are imitations of features found in apps on the google play store . Anything that apple does was already done for a few years before apple rolled out with the feature.

Samsung's quality of hardware has been great since the s6. I can see how the s5 and older can be seen as inferior quality but they've consistently had quality hardware since then.
Samsung has made massive strides in the last few years, my first and second phone was a htc m7/m9 and I thought I'd never change, on a whim I took the chance on the Samsung s9+ and didn't look back, now I've got the s23 ultra and will be sticking with Samsung from now on

It is an emotional decision. Switching from apple to Android was one I the biggest decisions you can make. Losing FaceTime I message and that ecosystem at the time was a big deal when all of your family has apple and use FaceTime

that's exactly myself in 2018 when I discovered Android. Just ask around you, to see how many out of 20 iPhone users know what type of charging cable they're using. I bet most of them can't even tell the name "USB type C" or "Lightning" cables, they call it "iPhone charger" and "non-iPhone charger". I quit Apple the moment I realized that they want the customers to stay ignorant about the tech world so they'll keep being imprisoned inside the Apple ecosystem. In short, I'm free now.
This video is great. It shows how "special" the apple community is. Deep in there, everyone knows that apple is only for the logo because they have ben surpassed by Android. Interesting to watch now when im about to switch to iPhone after using android for many years... For me the reasons are, the LiDAR Sensor that only iPhones have that i can use for 3D scanning, Pro apps that are not on android, and build quality

Just wait until you hook an external SSD to the USB port and watch a movie from that external drive on your phone. Something ABSOLUTELY IMPOSSIBLE on an iPhone. The same is true about putting a MicroSD card to expand your storage, moving photos and videos off without proprietary software, and using WIRED headphones!

Android manufactures add RAM to the new phones, tout the speed and what do you get even with 6-8 gigs of RAM? LAG! Poor memory management. Samsung touts Android 20, one of the most expensive Android phones on the market...extols its virtues and lo and behold...it only will get 2 years of OS updates. My XR will still be rocking with new OS till 2023 while the S20 which is objectively better then my phone, costs more is DEAD. P.S. I just wanted to say I don't hate Android it's a decent system but the problem is it's too diversified and not all manufacturers are consistent across the board. If I was going to recommend an Android phone or buy one for myself it would be one of the new Pixel XL models or a good Motorola model. The reason is because it's stock Android, faster and generally easier to use. Also Pixel will give you like 4 years updates OS and Security. I like the Google apps centric model as well. I use Google apps even on my iPhone XR.

Just watched your video. Man I was in the same dilemma as you. Back in the day there was nothing close to the iPhone design and the software feel. You know when the first iPhone came out Steve Jobs said that they are well ahead of the competition for the next decade and guess what? He was right nothing came close to it. But then a decade goes by and everyone started catching up making it less compelling to get an iPhone. I just now recently bought the new samsung s21 plus and boy I am in love with this phone. Samsung really is firing all cylinders with their galaxy s line up. A mixture of the high refresh rate screen, loads of features on this phone, and how it manages to be fast and fluid has really sold me into samsung phones.
I doubt iPhones are behind anything but the Galaxy Note series. I had an S7 edge before I got a note 9 and it was unusable after 3.5 years. It would crash just receiving a phone call.

I made that change yesterday. I’ve been using iPhone 7 since 2017. I didn’t like the newest iPhone designs and lack of fingerprint. So I kept using as it’s still using the latest IOS 15. When I finally decided to go to the market for the new phone. It’s impossible to miss how beautiful s21 ultra looks like and superior to iPhone 13 and all other phones. Samsung screen is really on another level. Well now I’m an android boy after 10 years.
I was an iPhone user for quite a long time (6 years). Back in 2019, i wasn't planning on changing my phone but after a lot of videos that i saw, i noticed that android made a lot of improvements. At the time, i really wanted to get Samsung Galaxy s10 or s10+ but since i wasn't planning on getting a new phone, i didn't have enough money saved to afford it. I was looking for other phones and i saw that Samsung Galaxy A50 was a phone that wasn't too far behind s10's specs, and it was much cheaper (a lovely opportunity from samsung that gives everypne a chance to get a phone). I got my new phone for 300$ and i was really happy with it. It's been 1 year and 7 months and the phone works really well to this day. You can't understand what you're missing if you don't risk a little bit. You dkn't have to buy the most expensive samsung. You can go for A series which are just a little behind S series in specs but are much cheaper and still are good looking. Yup. I love android but that damn "iMessage" I finally said fuck it. Bought a galaxy s20 on sale for $800. I feel free. I don't see myself coming back to iOS. Especially with RCS I'm pretty happy. I do miss the camera on my iPhone 11 pro though but the s20s camera is decent.

I had apple forever, I switched to android and had it almost 2 years and I just switched back. I liked my Android, there was nothing wrong with it. There is more customization you can do with android, but I felt that the more you did, the choppier the experience got with the phone. There are some cool features that you can’t do on android, but I didn’t really use them like split screen and stuff. What made me switch back to apple is apps are just more optimized for iOS than android. They run better, they look better. Also everyone has iPhone in my family and immediate circle. So you miss out on a lot of face time, messages, etc.
iOS is a closed source unix-like system that runs on bsd. The fact that apple embeds everything together just makes the experience worth while. Also, it has a more polished and professional feel. Both phones are good, but iphone is more intuitive.
I like both OS, but it feels like I am going for S23+ or ultra rather than iPhone 14. Since I don’t use iMessage so there’s nothing to lose for me if I switch, but I will retain my iPhone 11 up to its last breath while I can create music using the Garageband app.

I did use apple at first. But when jailbreak fail. Could not keep up with all new releases. I switched. Plus issue I had with apple is they slowing older iphones down, forsing you upgrade. I just hate it. And then they want you to buy churger and headphones
I did the same thing back in 2017... I went from an iPhone 6s+ to a Note8 after the iPhone 8 and iPhone X launch because I was unimpressed. I had every iteration of the Note from the Note8 onwards, (8, 9, 10+, 20U) and absolutely loved them. I recently just switched back to an iPhone 12 Pro Max and I couldn't be happier - the overall experience of the UI/OS is much more fluid than any of my Note devices were, the performance is stellar, the camera is reliable and consistent, and the battery life is beyond my Note20U. I find the simplicity of iPhone to be very attractive, and after not having it for four years, I've found that it's a great device. I will miss my Notes but iMessage/FaceTime/easier communication makes up for the features I no longer have (but didn't utilize as much as I thought I would (i.e. split screen, s-pen, DeX, etc.); but I especially miss my in-screen fingerprint sensor.
Switching to an android isn’t the dark side, more like freedom to do what you want so it should be called the bright side, apples iPhone isn’t bad either but your just limited in so many ways.....

as someone who've been using Android(low budget) since I ever own a smartphone, which cost around 13000-15000, I'll eventually switch to apple(iOS) because - no lag even after 4-5 years(I'm surprised even every iphone5 users still says they can still use it without much struggle - it's not for heavy usage, but I want a lag free when opening apps, etc. even after 3 years! - also camera quality is pretty good

The thing I used to HATE about Samsung (and almost any Android Phone): I had a Samsung Note 3 which just got like one major android update and that's it. From then on it was a (software-wise) outdated phone. All these new shiny Android-Versions with nice features. And I couldn't have them. Switched an iPhone 7 Plus after that, got a new iOS Version every year with great features, my phone never felt outdated (except for maybe the camera) next to even the iPhone 12. Is it still this bad with Androids? Even with the 1000$+ Phones? Because if I buy a 1000$ Phone and it's software is outdated after only 1,5 years I would be pissed.
I owned every iphone from 3g -> 6s. When iphone 7's only feature was taking out a headphone jack, i went to the galaxy 7. Samsung/Android had way more features than ios.

I was a pre teen basically a child when I began using a phone. I owned an LG phone and have had a whole traumatic experience with android and was sort of conditioned to want an iphone. I still forget that android phones are getting better but I like the independent OS that apple has. I own officially my second iphone since i got my first one in 2017 (iphone 7) and switched to 12 pro max. I don’t have an issue with android users or the phones but I have a huge preference to iphone. To be honest i dont even use it to be cool or updated but since I am able to own something I always did, i do and its functional to the things I do.

For it’s never been about what the iPhone can or can’t do… it’s about the part it plays in my workflow and tech ecosystem. If I were to change to android, my notes app, my reminders app, my calendar, music, entertainment photos, iCloud file syncs - go completely out of the window I assume with android.

Thanks for the vid! I had the iPhone when it first came out and am not impressed at how far it came along. As someone so loyal to a good product I feel that it is time to move on as well. My iPhone X is running on 73% battery life, which why on earth can‘t I just replace the battery myself? 🙄🙄🙄

Android manufactures add RAM to the new phones, tout the speed and what do you get even with 6-8 gigs of RAM? LAG! Poor memory management.
Samsung touts Android 20, one of the most expensive Android phones on the market...extols its virtues and lo and behold...it only will get 2 years of OS updates.
My XR will still be rocking with new OS till 2023 while the S20 which is objectively better then my phone, costs more is DEAD.
P.S. I just wanted to say I don't hate Android it's a decent system but the problem is it's too diversified and not all manufacturers are consistent across the board. If I was going to recommend an Android phone or buy one for myself it would be one of the new Pixel XL models or a good Motorola model. The reason is because it's stock Android, faster and generally easier to use. Also Pixel will give you like 4 years updates OS and Security. I like the Google apps centric model as well. I use Google apps even on my iPhone XR.

Just watched your video. Man I was in the same dilemma as you. Back in the day there was nothing close to the iPhone design and the software feel. You know when the first iPhone came out Steve Jobs said that they are well ahead of the competition for the next decade and guess what? He was right nothing came close to it. But then a decade goes by and everyone started catching up making it less compelling to get an iPhone. I just now recently bought the new samsung s21 plus and boy I am in love with this phone. Samsung really is firing all cylinders with their galaxy s line up. A mixture of the high refresh rate screen, loads of features on this phone, and how it manages to be fast and fluid has really sold me into samsung phones.

One thing that ticks me off about iPhones is they used to be ahead of other phones. Now they are behind many phones.
I doubt iPhones are behind anything but the Galaxy Note series. I had an S7 edge before I got a note 9 and it was unusable after 3.5 years. It would crash just receiving a phone call.

I made that change yesterday. I’ve been using iPhone 7 since 2017. I didn’t like the newest iPhone designs and lack of fingerprint. So I kept using as it’s still using the latest IOS 15.
When I finally decided to go to the market for the new phone. It’s impossible to miss how beautiful s21 ultra looks like and superior to iPhone 13 and all other phones. Samsung screen is really on another level. Well now I’m an android boy after 10 years.
How about Asus rog 5 ultimate better battery is a good phone also.
I was an iPhone user for quite a long time (6 years). Back in 2019, i wasn't planning on changing my phone but after a lot of videos that i saw, i noticed that android made a lot of improvements. At the time, i really wanted to get Samsung Galaxy s10 or s10+ but since i wasn't planning on getting a new phone, i didn't have enough money saved to afford it. I was looking for other phones and i saw that Samsung Galaxy A50 was a phone that wasn't too far behind s10's specs, and it was much cheaper (a lovely opportunity from samsung that gives everypne a chance to get a phone). I got my new phone for 300$ and i was really happy with it. It's been 1 year and 7 months and the phone works really well to this day. You can't understand what you're missing if you don't risk a little bit. You dkn't have to buy the most expensive samsung. You can go for A series which are just a little behind S series in specs but are much cheaper and still are good looking. I had apple forever, I switched to android and had it almost 2 years and I just switched back. I liked my Android, there was nothing wrong with it. There is more customization you can do with android, but I felt that the more you did, the choppier the experience got with the phone. There are some cool features that you can’t do on android, but I didn’t really use them like split screen and stuff. What made me switch back to apple is apps are just more optimized for iOS than android. They run better, they look better. Also everyone has iPhone in my family and immediate circle. So you miss out on a lot of face time, messages, etc.
A bunch of my family uses iphones...but I never miss out on communicating with them on my Samsung

iOS is a closed source unix-like system that runs on bsd. The fact that apple embeds everything together just makes the experience worth while. Also, it has a more polished and professional feel. Both phones are good, but iphone is more intuitive.
I like both OS, but it feels like I am going for S23+ or ultra rather than iPhone 14. Since I don’t use iMessage so there’s nothing to lose for me if I switch, but I will retain my iPhone 11 up to its last breath while I can create music using the Garageband app.
I used to buy every iPhone that came out every year.but this year I bought the note 10 plus and I’m happy with it ❤️❤️❤️

I did use apple at first. But when jailbreak fail. Could not keep up with all new releases. I switched. Plus issue I had with apple is they slowing older iphones down, forsing you upgrade. I just hate it. And then they want you to buy churger and headphones
I did the same thing back in 2017... I went from an iPhone 6s+ to a Note8 after the iPhone 8 and iPhone X launch because I was unimpressed. I had every iteration of the Note from the Note8 onwards, (8, 9, 10+, 20U) and absolutely loved them. I recently just switched back to an iPhone 12 Pro Max and I couldn't be happier - the overall experience of the UI/OS is much more fluid than any of my Note devices were, the performance is stellar, the camera is reliable and consistent, and the battery life is beyond my Note20U. I find the simplicity of iPhone to be very attractive, and after not having it for four years, I've found that it's a great device. I will miss my Notes but iMessage/FaceTime/easier communication makes up for the features I no longer have (but didn't utilize as much as I thought I would (i.e. split screen, s-pen, DeX, etc.); but I especially miss my in-screen fingerprint sensor.
Also thank god u did not buy the Samsung galaxy note 7 because there has been reports of the phones exploding

- it's not for heavy usage, but I want a lag free when opening apps, etc. even after 3 years!

The thing I used to HATE about Samsung (and almost any Android Phone): I had a Samsung Note 3 which just got like one major android update and that's it. From then on it was a (software-wise) outdated phone. All these new shiny Android-Versions with nice features. And I couldn't have them.
Switched an iPhone 7 Plus after that, got a new iOS Version every year with great features, my phone never felt outdated (except for maybe the camera) next to even the iPhone 12.
Is it still this bad with Androids? Even with the 1000$+ Phones? Because if I buy a 1000$ Phone and it's software is outdated after only 1,5 years I would be pissed.

I was a pre teen basically a child when I began using a phone. I owned an LG phone and have had a whole traumatic experience with android and was sort of conditioned to want an iphone. I still forget that android phones are getting better but I like the independent OS that apple has. I own officially my second iphone since i got my first one in 2017 (iphone 7) and switched to 12 pro max. I don’t have an issue with android users or the phones but I have a huge preference to iphone. To be honest i dont even use it to be cool or updated but since I am able to own something I always did, i do and its functional to the things I do.

I’d like to hear how your workflow has been effected by leaving the ecosystem? For it’s never been about what the iPhone can or can’t do… it’s about the part it plays in my workflow and tech ecosystem. If I were to change to android, my notes app, my reminders app, my calendar, music, entertainment photos, iCloud file syncs - go completely out of the window I assume with android.
