Can’t believe that he’s only 14 here (18 now, of course). This kid is so composed and self confident, it’s remarkable. His father definitely made a huge impression on him. His mother, as well, of course. But he’s just such a chip off the block; it’s almost like watching Steve.
Clearly he has taken enormous influence from Steve and whenever he talks about him, he is very knowledgeable about his life's work. Young Robert must have totally devoured all the media about Steve. It's a sad thought that he has no real memories of him, but it's a blessing that Steve left so much behind on video and through his work at the zoo. I hope watching his father's work helped Robert get to "meet" him in a way. You can hear the reverence in his voice when he talks about Steve.
Absolutely amazing family. Steve Irwin was incredible. His children are so beautiful.
