You MUST know this. That night when they filmed this they got permission to empty out Grand Central Station at 3 in the morning to do this performance. But they didn't film or record it once. They did it 3 or 4 or more times. They went ALL OUT each time to film this. Do you have any idea how hard that was? With the dance break...one of their longest songs and most difficult choreography. Jimmy said when it was over he hugged V and he could feel V's heart through his back!!! Did you see some of them fall to the ground at the end? They were exhausted! This performance is so very special to me. It's the first time seeing them perform. I didn't know they existed. I randomly tuned into Jimmy Fallon and watched. I was overwhelmed to say the least. Coming from a musical theatre background in Directing and Choreography...I KNEW how hard it was to pull off that Perfect Performance. I've been watching BTS content Every Day since then! EVERY DAY!
They are an incredible group, thanks for giving them an opportunity they never disappoint

SARA JAGLA As a 7 year fan of bts this is what I’ve been trying to explain to everyone. It does them so much injustice to them to simply call them a boyband and lump them with western boybands when they are not even similar in any aspect except that they’re a group of guys. BTS’s rappers are legit at their craft, their dancing is as good as a dance crew’s, they write and produce their own music, their lyrics deal with sensitive topics, and they incorporate philosophy/literature into their work. No other boyband in the world does this.

Just your reminder that BTS performed this 3-4 times at 4am, they all near collapsed at the end, Jimmy said when he gave JK a back hug he could feel JK’s heartbeat through his back, a back up dancer said they were in bed for 5 days recovering from this performance, Jimin and a back up dancer ended up with rips in their outfits due to the intensity of the choreography, BTS write and produce nearly all of their music and this song in particular is inspired from Carl Jung’s theory of human psychology: the ego

Puja Tripathi they’re going as hard as they can they’re amazing, read that the first time they rehearsed the whole choreo the whole crew of back dancers had to take three to four days just to get back in shape and calm the muscles soreness, they created the whole atmosphere so we knew upfront they weren’t messing with these war like painting on their face

I don't listen to much other k-pop, but BTS has me by my heart. Once you pay attention, you'll be hooked on all 7. I started with V (his voice is as deep as the ocean), then Jungkook (he's just out of this world!!!), then Jimin (the absolute sweetest), then RM (best leader EVER), then J-Hope (our Sunshine), then Jin (our World Wide Handsome astronaut), and last but not least, SUGA (his rapping and overall charisma is mind-blowing). Enjoy going down the rabbit hole. You won't regret it. :)

I watched this same performance just over a yr ago. I actually made a very similar comment on a different channel. Couldn't get how awesome this performance was off my mind. I then watched a few more music vids, live performances, interviews, & finally read the lyrics in English (made a world of a difference) to get a better idea of what their songs mean. I was almost ashamed to say that I enjoyed the music and really loved the msgs. Was thoroughly convinced I was too old (44) to like a "boy band". The moment I almost chewed out someone in the grocery store over a negative comment about them was the moment I realized I was already an ARMY.

First time I ever saw them. This night on Jimmy's show. I was in shock. Overwhelmed! Amazed how good they were. I watched it at least 7 times on KRplus later that night. The next day I went on KRplus again to find out anything and everything I could about them. From that day forward...Every Day has been a BTS day for me. I still haven't seen everything. But I've seen lot! They are The Best! The Best! Enjoy discovering them and their talent!. And best of all you will find out they all are nice caring loving human beings with no egos. I love them!

This is what started it for me - and I just got back from SK last weekend, soaking up the sights, BTS and the Live Play concert in Busan. Words can't express how grateful I am to have stumbled across this video in March ish 2020... their music supported so many through the past few years. I met ARMY from all over the world, and we all just got along and had fun! Thank you.
