I think her character in season 3 and her character in season 4 are completely different but that's just my opinion. It seems like they built Robin around Maya's personality this season.

She did a whole speech to Steve about how scared nervous she gets in season 3 so I kind of viewed this as her character feeling more comfortable around Steve and the rest of them. But also like with Nancy I feel like a lot of here talking is very much due to her being nervous because she's worried about what Nancy things of her and Steve and also ngl imo it definitely seems like Robin starts to develop a little crush on Nancy due to just simply being totally surprised and completely impressed by her causing Robin to act more nervous but that's just kind of how I view the situation 🤷

She is so, so classy. She's classy in that rare way that suggests someone has been raised by really classy people AND independently committed to being classy themselves. And the character Robin is some of the best and most relatable neurodivergence representation I've ever seen. Can't speak highly and gratefully enough about how Maya uses her talents and energies.
Props also to this show for faithfully letting her give a moment to the real issues of the day and letting her finish her thought and be honest and fervent about it. I don't watch this show anywhere near as much as I used to but that sincerity is an important part of why it has a special place in my heart.

She's a very rare case in the acting industry. She's one of the only kids of 2 successful and well known actor's that also made it big in acting.

He let the cast be themselves and they were so comfortable. In the commercial breaks they were calling him dad and messing around. It was cute

The Supreme Court did not say that the us congress can’t make a law to make it legal which is what should have happened ages ago if they wanted it. So yes saying fuck the Supreme Court is ignorant

Maya's music is so beautiful too! With soft and jazzy vocals and lyrics laced with imagery of nature and whimsical turns of phrase. Her album "Blush" has some fire lines on it, like "I wanna hold you like soft water holds the sky" or "but I can't ask to borrow what I can't bear to lend." Terrific songwriter!
