I liked Dorinda in the beginning but no longer. She’s a very messy & extremely nasty drunk. You’d think someone of her age & experience & of marrying rich & powerful men would have taught her more tolerance.

Just because a person can be funny doesn't mean her behavior is acceptable. I honestly do not believe she has a good heart. She actually seems like a terrible person. She is often very very cruel. Cruelty and occasional rudeness are not the same thing. She's straight up mean and delusional and unwilling to apologize or accept responsibility for any of her own behavior. She is also a raging alcoholic unwilling to get help no matter how she embarrass herself publicly or embarrasses her child. But if she makes you laugh then she must be ok.
