The Jolly guys are ABSOLUTELY putting good into the world! They are so wholesome and they put a smile on my face every single time I watch them. So when I have a rough day that really sucks, I can turn to Jolly or the Try Guys, and it usually turns my day around and brings positivity and light to my day. My sister and I always watch Try Guys and Jolly/Korean Englishmen videos together, often during dinner, and it's so nice to relax and have a laugh at the end of a long day. Sure parasocial relationships can be weird, but like Keith said, there is a real comfort to tuning into familiar faces/voices. Bringing comfort and joy to people is no small feat and it's really appreciated!!
I got into a London cab the other day going to work and got chatting to the driver, he picked up Beckham once. He said he was on the phone, and it sounded important/business related.
The driver at some point hit a diversion and needed to go a different route so he asked him where he wanted to go. Becks told the person I’m going to call you back, the driver needs to speak to me and I want to give him my full attention.
Just a small thing but really stuck with the driver, he’s incredibly polite.

In answer to the question, Are Josh & Ollie doing something good for people? Just look at the comments on both channels. EVERY single video has comments from people who feel down or are going through a difficult time and are so grateful to those weekly videos on both KE/Jolly for providing laughter and a great distraction from everyday life. Laughing has a huge positive impact, it's like medicine to the soul, so YES! You guys are doing a lot of good! 😊 Keep doing it!

Jolly and Try Guys food videos are my comfort viewing-and have desperately made me want to start a nonprofit for underprivileged kids to travel the world and experience foods, arts, and other forms of culture.
I want Josh and Ollie to know that they've inspired me to learn more about Korea and love learning new words and foods, and have even made my own food at home because of them. I watch them along with breakfast at work every time there's a new video posted. I hope they never stop!

When Josh said he went to international school and met his Korean friends, I'm surprised he didn't mention that it was in China! I noticed that he never really mentions that he used to live in China, I wonder why that is? Maybe it's because he's being humble and doesn't want to give too much detail about his own life :)

Keith i know you will never see this but you are a core factor in my eating disorder recovery. Eat the menu, seems silly, but i turn it on, and it tells my brain its time to eat and its okay to enjoy food. I was extremely anorexic before and still struggle daily, but i re watch an eat the menu EVERY day at EACH meal because it helps me actually finish my meal.
Zach sat beside Keith and Miles looks like a seven year old at a waiting room with his gay dads.
this has been wonderful, my two most watched KRplus channels, together for an hour. Both channels were beacons of light through Covid! It helped keep me sane! I hope to see more collaborations

Korean Englishman / Jolly / Cast of characters including the twins and ArMax and Guv/Barney and Juno and everyone's parents and Gabbi's channel, and behind the scenes crew like Andy and Grace and Ducky. They're like a family I get a peek into a couple times a week. Their lives are important to me, and help me relax and help me laugh. And when they go through stuff, or do amazing things I feel for them and am proud of them.
as much as keith tried to draw a common ground between try guys and korean englishman, i as an avid viewer of both cannot stress enough that there is still a significant difference between the two channels. try guys is fun, light hearted, it's about who can make the best pancakes or let's try everything from carls jr today, while korean englishman is like let's go to italy and try this iberico pork straight from the source, and really appreciate this for what it and its history.
i love both but i'd say, if i were to give an analogy as to the experience of watching the vids, try guys food vids is like eating mcdonalds - it gets the job done, very popular, will go viral, while korean englishman food vids is like an omakase. you learn a ton about the culture, the food, the passion, and it's just very wholesome and almost like you're living a vacation vicariously through them.
there's also the other type of video where they just introduce the same generic korean food to different groups of people, and those are always a fun watch because you get to re-experience korean food for the first time in someone else's shoes and you get excited thinking about the different dishes and how they're gonna react to it. those are more light hearted and id say more comparable to a typical "keith eats everything in olive garden!" or whatever

I love this! I’ve watch Korean Englishman and Jolly for a while. I do remember the first video where they had people try kimchi, there were some rude people that would cussed out. Nice to get to know Josh and Ollie more here.
