@7:30 The longest word reminded me of a kid who used to ride the bus with me in middle school. He was about 9 yo, but he was in the 6th or 7th grade. We saved a seat for him at the front of the bus and protected him. He shared the longest word he knew at that time, electroencephalography, and explained what it was, but that was a while ago, before we had modern technology. In his defense, if he had grown up after the invention of fire, airplanes and smartphones, he would have been on Ellen.

I’m so glad the little surfer girl gets chores and has to work for what she wants. Most kids don’t get chores anymore or have to do anything and parents just give them whatever they want.

It feels like my grandma to hear her voice and tone. Really like it❤

When my son was little, he would ask me to give him math challenges as a game during car rides. Who does that??? Geniuses. He was 5-6 yo. I would give him a problem and he would answer it before I could figure out if he was right. I had to pretend to be distracted by traffic while I calculated. We had to keep him out of the room when the older kids did their homework. They'd be struggling with a problem for an hour and he'd walk through the room, glance at the problem and give the answer, even though he was three grades below them. In his teens now, there's a reason he never comes to us for help with his homework.
