They were singing on top of a backing track with varying degrees of backing vocal. So there is live singing on top of what vocals were in the backing track. Best example is hearing Vernon live in the first whowh oh oh and then dropping out and only hearing track vocals. At like 1:14 or so you can hear him singing live but then it drops out.

i absolutely love our boys, this is one of my favorite songs of theirs, and 100% my favorite choreo, and they obviously did great. the camerawork was good, but I think the charm of this choreo (and kinda seventeen in general) is more visible if you would see a full view, especially in the intro where Jeonghan is center. the performance of this song kinda speaks for itself, and imo doesnt need fancy camerawork

They solidly believed in each other and their talents. When people say hard work pays off they weren't wrong! So, guys give your 100% in everything you do! Seventeen is the best example for it!

I always say song starting with either Joshua or jeonghan hits different, there voices are smooth and unique.. Seventeen songs are really masterpiece and i never get tired of this saying.. And then what to say about there choreography its on next level and also the way they synchronise iss completely unique and different to otyer groupss.. Seventeen is really the best and unique
I don't stan this group but the amount of respect i have for them is unmeasurable. To perform such an energetic song while flawlessly singing live, giving space for every member to shine despite being so many, and dancing so effortlessly and in sync while showing a lot of charisma, i think there are very few groups who can reach this level .
I think they are lip-synching. It's impossible to sound this stable while dancing. also, there was no backing track, when somebody sings live they always have backtracks, but here is just one line of vocals. I think they pre-recorded their vocals before and when just danced. That's what I think.

The word "all-rounder" perfectly fits SEVENTEEN. Hip Hop Unit can dance well, can sing ballad & can even pull off a rock song. Performance Unit can sing well with Jun's falsettos & can rap so good. Vocal Unit can be mistaken as rappers & can dance so well. To top all of it, stan SEVENTEEN.

In 50% of the video I love the camera work with the close up shots. But as someone who has watched the dance practice way to many times I have to say they missed out on some really amazing and important choreo parts. For a hype song like this it is essential to portray the right energy and here the camera team sadly missed some of that.

This is literally one of the best performance videos of Seventeen to ever exist. That camera and its cameraman performed with them.
I don't stan this group but the amount of respect i have for them is unmeasurable. To perform such an energetic song while flawlessly singing live, giving space for every member to shine despite being so many, and dancing so effortlessly and in sync while showing a lot of charisma, i think there are very few groups who can reach this level .

The fact that they're singing *LIVE* and dancing the one of hardest choreography in kpop industry is just unbelievable. Legends indeed.
I think they are lip-synching. It's impossible to sound this stable while dancing. also, there was no backing track, when somebody sings live they always have backtracks, but here is just one line of vocals. I think they pre-recorded their vocals before and when just danced. That's what I think.

@@lovendye9552 i can dance to hit while singing to it as well. and stable too. they're using smart microphones that automatically volumes up the back tracks when they're not singing and turns off when they do like Mingyu, wonwoo and cheol's "hit hit" in "hithithit hit sound!", it sounds like the studio one but then you can clearly hear their voice after when they sang the line "Hit Sound!" of that specific part.

The word "all-rounder" perfectly fits SEVENTEEN. Hip Hop Unit can dance well, can sing ballad & can even pull off a rock song. Performance Unit can sing well with Jun's falsettos & can rap so good. Vocal Unit can be mistaken as rappers & can dance so well.

In 50% of the video I love the camera work with the close up shots. But as someone who has watched the dance practice way to many times I have to say they missed out on some really amazing and important choreo parts. For a hype song like this it is essential to portray the right energy and here the camera team sadly missed some of that.
How I wish MAMA/MNET's camera work was this nice
