I think it's Ravi's sincerity and cutting of all the complexities from big labels that made Ailee & Wheein join. No dating bans, no curfew, no social media control, none of that bs.

Wheein signed the group contract for mamamoo in RBW, but decided to sign with another company for her individual activities (as a solo artist). And The l1ve as far as I know is relative new, but they sign singers to host and support. (Sorry for my bad english, wish you understand)

Even though this is a new company, Ravi already have another hiphop company named Groovl1n for a while, so he is familiar with how to treat his artists~~ and for the Eng subs I totally agree.... Ravi also puts Eng subs very fast for his own channel it makes me so happy
This may look like a small family but these three are actually incredible artists that are capable of independently handling themselves, with experience & skills to boot. As what Ailee said, she was already an independent artist doing everything on her own before joining The Live. With Wheein, she is also very hands-on with all her solo projects while she was still in RBW. From the songs and concept to the album packaging to the filming to recruiting the dance crew. All her birthday projects for moomoos throughout the years were a product of her creative mind. Ravi is so lucky to work with equally professional talents. I can feel the vibe and good chemistry.

Yeah, I don't know all the details of what went wrong at YMC. I just know that there were problems, either managerial, creative, financial, or a combination of them. Good that he has managed to recruit these solid veteran singers. They'll have a good chance of being successful without needing his day to day involvement while he is in the army, which he can't defer much longer. Hopefully he has good people in place to run day to day operations while he is absent. While I was never into VIXX, I have got to know Ravi via 1 Night 2 Days and he seems like a good guy. It's always hard to predict how new or small companies might fare in such a competitive market. I will wish him the best of luck though.

I actually have a great feeling about this. Wheein will never be as famous as Hwasa and Solar, and her solo music will never be as popular as Mamamoo. BUT… I think with THEL1VE she will have the freedom to make the kind of music she really loves, and be in control of her own schedule. She is already mega rich, and she is hugely respected by fans and other idols. She was part of probably the best 3rd Gen female group, and has released so many best selling albums. I don’t think Wheein is interested in fame or fortune (she already has both) she’s an artist. Music is her passion. I can’t wait to see what she does next.

The fact that she is in a new company doesn't mean she's not part of Mamamoo anymore. She is still with Mamamoo at least until December of 2023.
To give you some context, whenever Wheein releases something she charts very well in Korea. She is definitely a very well known name in Korea, ofc Hwasa is more famous than Whee but Wheein has a really good grip on GP compared to Solar. I'm not trying to pull Solar down but melon stats say so!
May be Wheein is not popular overseas but she is popular in Korean, and east south Asian contries. In terms of popularity Mamamoo members popular with different sides. Wheein popular with her ballads that charted high several times, Solar popular as entertainment, Moonbyul with her cool rapping skills, Hwasa with her strong performance media and overall they are together powerful as Mamamoo, nobody left group!

Does that mean Mamamoo didn't prolong their contract? Did they disband? I assumed that they were still making music, since their latest music video was released just 3 weeks ago. How is Wheein "signing" with another label? o.O I'm confused. Or is "label" and "agency" different somehow (different criteria by law perhaps)? What is this L1ve Label about? Does it sign singers and produce music, or does it only do promotion, or advertisement, or brand deals? I really don't understand.

@@VladimirMizich that is because they have two contracts, one as a group (for mamamoo) and one as a solo artist. Wheein signed the group contract for mamamoo in RBW, but decided to sign with another company for her individual activities (as a solo artist). And The l1ve as far as I know is relative new, but they sign singers to host and support.

This may look like a small family but these three are actually incredible artists that are capable of independently handling themselves, with experience & skills to boot. As what Ailee said, she was already an independent artist doing everything on her own before joining The Live. With Wheein, she is also very hands-on with all her solo projects while she was still in RBW. From the songs and concept to the album packaging to the filming to recruiting the dance crew. All her birthday projects for moomoos throughout the years were a product of her creative mind. Ravi is so lucky to work with equally professional talents. I can feel the vibe and good chemistry.

Yeah, I don't know all the details of what went wrong at YMC. I just know that there were problems, either managerial, creative, financial, or a combination of them. Hopefully she has a nice second career act that makes her happy artistically while being commercially successful enough to make her new company happy and support herself.

This was really nice of RAVI filming the meetup. Trying to minimize awkwardness between the new members of The L1ve, they end up finding out they have more in common than not. Good that he has managed to recruit these solid veteran singers. They'll have a good chance of being successful without needing his day to day involvement while he is in the army, which he can't defer much longer. Hopefully he has good people in place to run day to day operations while he is absent. While I was never into VIXX, I have got to know Ravi via 1 Night 2 Days and he seems like a good guy. It's always hard to predict how new or small companies might fare in such a competitive market. I will wish him the best of luck though.

I remember one interview with Ravi, where he said that he was shy of approaching artists to collaborate for his album. It's really strange to see Wheein with other artists and being in another compnay than RBW but if she is happy, we're happy for her too. It's good to see that she is getting along with other artists too. Ailee is a great singer and I am just curious to see if we will get to see them collaborate some day. I just wish we could get to see more of their interaction, but I am sure we will get to see more in the future.

I actually have a great feeling about this. Wheein will never be as famous as Hwasa and Solar, and her solo music will never be as popular as Mamamoo. BUT… I think with THEL1VE she will have the freedom to make the kind of music she really loves, and be in control of her own schedule. She is already mega rich, and she is hugely respected by fans and other idols. She was part of probably the best 3rd Gen female group, and has released so many best selling albums. I don’t think Wheein is interested in fame or fortune (she already has both) she’s an artist. Music is her passion. I can’t wait to see what she does next.

The fact that she is in a new company doesn't mean she's not part of Mamamoo anymore. She is still with Mamamoo at least until December of 2023.
To give you some context, whenever Wheein releases something she charts very well in Korea. She is definitely a very well known name in Korea, ofc Hwasa is more famous than Whee but Wheein has a really good grip on GP compared to Solar. I'm not trying to pull Solar down but melon stats say so!
May be Wheein is not popular overseas but she is popular in Korean, and east south Asian contries. In terms of popularity Mamamoo members popular with different sides. Wheein popular with her ballads that charted high several times, Solar popular as entertainment, Moonbyul with her cool rapping skills, Hwasa with her strong performance media and overall they are together powerful as Mamamoo, nobody left group!
