When the plugins evolve, so do the hacks and duping methods. There is probably never going to be an end to this P2W vs. Anti-P2W war, but that's all the more reason to try to fix it.

Best security is still human eyes on the case. If you got an inactive mod/admin team, you can have all the plugins sounding alarms you want, but they're useless if no one is going to respond.
I've caught cheaters while at work by just having the console open and responding to plugin notifications. That ban screen really comes out of the blue when you think you're the only one online.

@@Koowluh A p2w server I frequent and even used to be staff for does this as well, a lot of the times staff are online and invisible and constantly watch other players especially newbies to make sure they aren’t x-raying or duping, one of the admins I was friends with basically summed it up as they vanish themselves so they don’t appear on tab and afk all night then watch every newbie for 15 minutes each before swapping and repeat.
It makes it very hard to cheat ontop of all the plugins, you’d have to be a regular with a paid rank for staff to not look at you.
A good staff team will always be better than plugins doing auto moderation for you.

case study proves you wrong - mojang is too big to take down the tiny people. Hypixel (huge) had a gamemode, and they added a p2w feature. So, mojang sent a legal letter saying "hey, could you remove that or change your game at it's core to make money not a progression factor" and they made money no longer a progression factor

AFAIK pay to win is not allowed in competitive gamemodes only. I don't know if loverfellas skyblock game is competitive.

Then, the staff would load a backup from just before the dispersal started (chat logs would provide near exact timestamp as people act confused having gotten expensive items) and delete the stash before making the world public again...
Even if dupe stash is hidden, they just need to have a plugin logging player locations and a list of suspects.
Trying to use proxy accounts and hide from logging software doesn't do much as it's possible to compare player location data and figure out what accounts have interacted, as well as stuff like what blocks were placed and by who (making hoppers not an option) and explosions (blocking tnt, creepers, etc.) as well as access logs for containers and item drops/pickup. All these events can be logged relatively easily, so if the server can afford a couple extra hard drives worth of space and someone who can parse the data, it's possible to figure it out. Maybe not easy, but definitely possible for a server with the income that p2w servers have

The way I see them is that they’re bait for:
A) Rich kids to sink some cash in no sweat
B) Probably the most likely one, they try to get birthday and/or holiday money to be spent on it. The way how I see it, most kids would get their holiday money in a big burst, and they will realise that it’s their one opportunity to get the expensive rank, for that they know that their parents won’t spend 300+ dollars on them, so they spend it all at once.

That's kinda the entire point of the anti pay to win movement, at least the genuine ones in the community.. but p2w can easily become a can of worms you can never close again, since of course a lot of people only see dollar signs when hosting servers, so couple relative popularity with making it p2w, you will almost always have that one who pays for everything to get ahead of everyone, there is the issue with p2w, cuz a lot of people don't realize or refuse to accept that even PvE can be p2w too and I'd argue is often even worse.. there are other options for monetization that aren't p2w but they are a bit more limited but they do exist, at least in Minecraft terms, hypixel is the best example I can think of off the top of my head. I don't usually agree with vigilante justice either but it's like you said to stop lazy rich people from getting richer

His videos have really bad like to dislike ratio. More than half the time there are actually more dislikes than likes on his videos, and the rest of the time the difference between like and dislikes is so little it doesn't even matter.
