Super late but those are tuning slides on the trumpet! They do affect the tone and aid in fixing any sort of sharp/flat leaning sound, especially the big slide on the front. The lever-looking things are to empty out spit, you hold them open and blow. And finally, the middle valve is simply stuck, not broken. Unscrew the circle underneath the moving part, lift out the valve, lubricate it with valve oil, place it back in the shell, twist it until it clicks into place, then screw the circle back on and it should freely move again.

The Valve tuning slides are for each buttons, the one you pulled out around 11:18 on vid is for the 1st and 2nd button, the other long but small is for the 3rd one for changing pitches while you play, the giant U flipped to the left one with the water key is the one that tunes all 3, just look a tutorial for help. =) and i love your videos i`'ve told my fam/friends at school/Home about tour videos and they love your styles and the things that you do. Im happy that this world has someone that tries to make it a better place!

The comic hit me like a brick because one time I tried to point out where a place was for my mom and instead of pointing right- I confidently pointed left. She turned down the wrong street and I didn't want her to drive back so I ended up walking the rest of the way instead lmao. I remember staring at my left hand as she turned and the feeling of pure stupidity rise inside my stomach.

The things on the trumpet that are circular are places for your left thumb and right pinky also the three buttons are valves and you for the 2nd valves you need to unscrew it and use valve oil also putting pressure on the mouth piece it will get stuck. Luv ur vids💜

The one that jumps to mind is Rubberband Man from Static Shock (if you’re reading this in the future and Static either has a film, a new show, or both, I specifically mean the early-2000s one that was part of the DCAU alongside Justice League and similar shows). There was a whole episode (season 4, ep 9 according to the wiki) highlighting the fact that he has dyslexia and having him mention his coping strategies, which become important as he needs to read instructions to deactivate a bomb. It was pretty cool.

i am so dyslexic that growing up i could never do the "well your left hand makes an L" thing because i didn't know which way an L went but other people in my 504 class could do it no problem so no one believed me that i couldn't tell my left from my right and i was so scared of confrontation that i just shut up about it and then in 6th grade i went into middle school and got a new 504 class and teacher (i had the same one all of elementary school) who asked us about our left and right and i remember sheepishly going over to her desk one day and telling her i had never learned my left from my right. she tried to help me but i never really memorized it (though to be fair at that point in my life it wasn't really a priority and i had grades to keep up with so i didn't really care)
i'm a sophomore doing drivers ed now and i still have trouble with it, so thank you my elementary school teacher for not believing i was having trouble with it/j
(also if you have dyslexia and this is a problem you face heres how i am learning; i wear a band-aid on my middle finger right hand because my dyslexia teacher (same lady) made us do cursive in class so we could learn our bs and ds and we had to hold our pencils a certain way that gave me a callus on my finger that i had to wear a ban-aid on whenever i hand wrote things because it would throb without one so wearing a ring or band-aid you can quickly feel for really helps!)

the fact that adam recalled that very specific moment from disney's shake it up interview is scary because i was thinking the same thing
