Once it is heated right up your supposed to spray it with ice chilled water for maximum effectiveness

I’m in the autobody business for over 35 years repair many bumpers even ones cut in half this does work but a better way is to wait till a hot summer day leave it sit directly in the sun for as long as possible then take some suction cups even a small plunger wet it first it will pop out

You didn’t repair it though… you just poured water on it while playing the weirdest song.

You can just go behind and push the bumper with your hand

Pushing from otherside works better after heated maybe have someone lightly using suctioncup from the outside aswell

You forgot the repair part.

The hot water is generally to try to pop the dent in steel not plastic and it’s when you don’t have a puller

That dent puller doubles as a shower “toy”

I did that without water on a 100 degree day and pushed it out from the bottom. A lot easier but good idea

Tenho um carro desse mesmo modelo aí e é fato salvou meu dia esse método, pode crer isso funciona.

Boiled water is only 100 degree Celcius which is not enough for softening the metal or glass-fiber but the plastic.
