I love the idea of not just showing makeup styles from around the world, but also highlighting artists from those backgrounds. It's so cool to see the diverse ways these artists approach makeup application!
I agree, but if the artist was an actual real Muslim. You can't just make up your own rules and wear it how you want to. You HAVE to cover ALL your hair and ALL YOU SKIN except for face hands and feet. I'm an Arab I would know
@@tickletickle4858i agree with you, but the video is not about islam neither the artistโs personal life and choices, its about Arabic makeup.
@@tickletickle4858 guys please ignore this person, iโm muslim too and they do not reflect on the entire muslim population
@@tickletickle4858 if you're an Arab, you know that you don't mandatorily need to be Muslim to be an Arab. Even if you are Muslim, you don't need to cover all your skin. There are plenty of Muslims that don't follow that. Those are just rules made by oppressive Arab states, using religion as an excuse! So, stop spreading lies! This is an Arabic style makeup, why do you even need to bring religion into it that wasn't at all referenced in the video?
I absolutely love this makeup style. I was a makeup artist for years & one of my fellow artists was Arabic, somehow she made my eyes look twice their usual size & my eye color which is a typical boring brown somehow looked almost amber. She told me since a lot of women cover everything but the eyes they really focus a lot of attention on the eyes. I've never been able to fully mimic what she did.
What color did she use to make it look more amber?
olives and goldens and greens helps with it @@xoxjelloxox
@@xoxjelloxox i'm preeeetty sure it was black eyeliner and having a smoky eye look ...whenever i use eyeliner on my waterline my eye colour always pops
It totally slipped my mind that many Muslim women cover their faces with a niqab and only expose the eyes. It totally makes sense now why so much attention would be on their eye look.
@@xoxjelloxox she used a jet black liner & not even a speck of my water line was visible, she also used different tones of gold & just a touch of soft golden green
I cannot get over how flawless her application is. The concealer on your lids for priming is absolutely undetectable. And that eye look!!! Wow! The blend is incredible. I cannot wait to do a deep dive on her work.
This! The colour match is amazing! When she did the colour correct under eyes I was like hmm how... then it just all came together so well. Literal art!
except she put too much color corrector and went past the dark circles
And I can't believe she hired this makeup artist, she's not good at all ๐ฅน 1/10
โ@@midnightcity2591stop posting the same comment everywhere. Replace the hate with a bit of love and you'll feel better.
โ@@midnightcity2591exactly what I was saying. I am an arab and that is not how we do our makeup and she doesn't even wear her scarf on the head correctly. You can't just pick and choose how you want to wear it there is rules. She makes us real Muslims have a bad image.
Hi Tina, just a quick fyi. โArabicโ is not generally used as an adjective except when referring to the language so it doesnโt really make sense saying โArabic make-upโ. It would actually be โArab make-upโ as โArabโ refers to an ethnic identity.
Yes you're correct. It's not offensive or anything, it's just not usual to say Arabic for anything other than the language for some reason. We say Arab man, Arab makeup, Arab traditions, etc.
@@rdanamonicaincorrect
Yep, Arabic is the language. Arab would be the correct terminology to use.
Wow I didn't even know o.O because in my native language we don't make this distinction (also in general). Thank you, something new again!
or 'Arabian make-up'
Heyyy tinnaaa I'm Lebaneseee and I love how u are respectful to everyone and I love watching you smโค
Omg me too! ๐ฑ๐ง
Yes I am too,but don't you agree that she wore the Hijab wrong? She can't just make up her own rules. One day she shows all her neck and ears/with earrings, one day she shows her hair!! Like, that is incorrect it is not just a"style" you have to cover ALL your hair, ALL your skin except for your hands feet and face. Simple
@@tickletickle4858 yeah hijab has to include everything but I hope she'll get to that point when she covers everything inchallah ๐ค
โ@@rimhammoud17I agree, but putting on the Hijab is only one way if you going to wear it wear right if not don't at all. There shouldn't be stages. So I think that this is just her way of "styling" herself, which is incorrect and a bad image for us Hijab is not about modeling and I am it clearly states in the Quarn to NOT show your curves/shape to not wear tight and revealing clothing. Anyways, I just dislike when I see women like that posing and "modeling" the Hijab.
Same here โค๐๐ฑ๐ง
Could honestly have been even bolder with the liner work, but it looks beautiful ๐
Agreeed
And I can't believe she hired this makeup artist, she's not good at all ๐ฅน 1/10
Arab style smokey eye makeup (more on the subtle side) is my fave eye look! I find that it flatters me the most, with eye bag makeup (aegyosal) and a defined inner corner.
Her eye shadow blending in the beginning was not that good to be honest... she is a makeup guru and knows more and has more experience but it felt novice with the tugging under eye and overall work....
even the eyeshadow shape at the end was uneven too
I thought I was the only one to notice that glaring uneven application lol
Iโm didnโt want to have something critical to say but it just looks like amateur work ๐ the brows were a bit too harsh as well for Tinaโs features.
โ@@mimixmin that's the first thing I noticed one is more fox eye and the other one more kinda rounded at first
I agree! I felt that she made Tina's eyebrows uneven too. one was thicker than the other on the brow front@@thirstaefortae5057
The eyes look absolutely gorgeous, but I wonder why the blush was applied so unevenly, like the face seems asymmetric even
Hi Tina Iโm from Saudi Arabia and Iโm a huge fan of yours. This is definitely my go to makeup in every occasion! It looks so gorgeous on you! Definitely using this video as a tutorial for next time. All the love ๐ค๐ค
It is nowhere to arab makeup arab makeup most important step is eyeliner winged n in the inner corner plus in waterline
This makeup style looks absolutely stunning on Tina!!! The makeup artist matched her skintone perfectly and really brought out Tina's features with this look! Who else would loooove a makeover by her? Because same! ๐๐๐
I loved this makeup look! Youโre one of us now. โค
It looks so good!!!! Crazy how makeup can change the vibe of a person
I love it
From your Arab fan I can say the finishing look is great although myself I prefer more natural looks but I think the make up artist did a good job! It's fun to try different makeup looks from time to time!
Algerian head jewelry called jabin ๐ฉ๐ฟ๐ฉ๐ฟ๐ฉ๐ฟ๐ฉ๐ฟ๐ฉ๐ฟ๐๐๐
This makeup style looks so pretty!! I love it ๐ฅบ๐ฅฐ
So strong and glamorous. I love it. The perfect look for a evening in the theater, a premiere or a glam party.
Amazinggg and I love how the skin never got cakey and the subtle contour and blush, I loved it
You look gorgeous!! I love the eyes so much. They're stunning.
I am Arab and the eyes donโt scream Arabic makeup to me ๐ฅฒ love her work tho โค
I felt the same but I guess it's bcz her eyes shape is different if she had arab eyes it would be more noticeable, but the makeup itself is beautiful tho
I think this is a more 'modern' style we've been seeing for the last 7-10 years. I too was expecting the classic full on 100% Arab style like the strong brows, double eyeliner flick etc.
It's just her eye shape not the make up
ุญุชู ุงูุง
Hey Tina, love your videos!! Just a little note, it's not Arabic but Arab makeup! Arabic is the language and Arab refers to the people who live in Arabia or have for official language Arabic! A lot of ppl get it confused so dw!!
You look so good, i love how you always do content from around the world. We love you Tinaaโคโค
yess girl, love this concept. trying different types of makeup looks from around the world!
I always see makeup stylist even the professionals does that and it's drive me crazy . They call themselves professionals but they don't even follow simple hygiene rule. I'm health professional because of these reasons I m never taking professional makeup service i do my own makeups . Thanx No Contamination Risk for beautyโค๐
Iโm a professional mua, and I have to say that unfortunately I agree with you. If the products that she is using are gifted to her for this occasion than there is no problem, but if not than there is a hygiene problem.
Its such a pretty look!! It reminds me a lot of 2016 beauty guru makeup, which I totally think should make a comeback!
Do you mean Tati?
It's like a somewhat more subtle cut crease and I LOVE IIIT โคโคโค
@@Bazinga9987 No, why would it? Tati wasnt the only popular makeup guru back then
@@mimixmin because her name was something with guru so i thought you meant that..
Is it just me or the smokey zone on top of both eyelids look different size wise? The makeup is great but the eyeshadows on both eyes look uneven
yeah the black was too much on the right side
๐love the false lashes on you! Looked so nature and bold
Omg the eye look REALLY pops with the jewel face covering (not sure the proper term/when it would normally be worn but WOW ๐คฉ)
Absolutely attractive! โค
Omg! This is amazing! I love this look โค
YOU LOOK GORGEOUSSS i love seeing our makeup style on you
Wow ๐๐๐
this is the level of bridal makeup also the eyes are lit and the arab inspired accessories are AMAZING ๐คฉ
I love the color of the eye shadows so much!!

Gorgeous! I love learning more about the hallmarks of arabic style makeup
I love this! Love seeing the difference between different make-up styles & artists :)
WHY SO PRETTY
That looks gorgeous, Tina.
Great look on you. I really love this make up style. So striking. I find it so interesting how different cultures apply make up to enhance their natural features ๐
Wow! Itโs really pretty on you Tina ๐ I love Arabic makeup the way the eyes look with Kuhal itโs just amazing๐ฅน
Omg this makeup looks so good on you
As an arab this is the most beautiful arabic makeup I've ever seen on someone, not very dramatic it's just perfect
I love it !! Absolutely beautiful. She did a great job.
Its amazing how makeup can totally transform your look!
idk how a makeup artist using the wand directly to tina's face?
Yes, a lot are unhygienic
It looks great! The blush placements just looks weird... the left (your right) is lower than the other side. Otherwise it looks great!
That makeup style looks amazing on you!
5:00 is it just me or is the blush application on the left hand side lower by an inch than the right hand side? My OCD is screaming. It was never fully fixed all the way until the end ๐ฅน
Otherwise the makeup is gorgeous ๐ฅฐ
its easy to go overboard with these types of looks but she did it so well
Wow you look stunning! ๐ฎโค๏ธ
i kept telling myself: trust the process. it looks like typical makeup training school style of makeup, which i guess is quite different from the style of celebrity or fashion makeup artists?
The same applies to Arabic celebrities, I live in Saudi Arabia and almost all celebrities go smokey for events because it simply matches the common aesthetic here. The simple no makeup makeup tends to be the exception here mainly for modest and younger women.
Arabs are into very full glam and obvious makeups. Like the other commentor said, it matches the aesthetic of luxury, boldness and opulence that Arabs like to radiate. It's just not their makeup, their clothes, houses, cars, lifestyle, are all very big, bold and glam if you will.
I kept telling myself โtrust the processโ as well but then she didnโt go back and fix her eyeshadow and I lost all hope. ๐ญ Tina looks very pretty in that style of makeup though. Execution just wasnโt all there.
Iโm sorry but the beginning where Tina says she was trained by Make Up by Mario is deceptive. Most people would take this as if she was mentored or was an assistant to him but she attended a masterclass. Itโs not like it was a true apprenticeship type of situationโฆ
It just isnโt work that Mario is associated with and thatโs why I went to her socials to have a closer look ๐ anyone can take that class if they pay for it! Itโs not like it was a proper course
@@thirstaefortae5057 i learnt my makeup in a training school that's owned by the most famous celebrity makeup artist in China, and i worked there as a website designer afterwards, i know how it works. hahaha, actually i was being polite in the comment.
Tina, u look gorgeous in Arabic makeup look!! ๐ โคโคI luv this video!!
Absolutely gorgeous ๐ฅฐ
You look gorgeous!!! I love this style of makeup as an Iraqi โคโค
So beautiful so elegant just looking like a WOW...
Stunning โค
You look stunning! Hats off to the make up artist!
Love this look โค
Absalotely beautiful โค๐๐ญ before and afterโค
wow.. what a transformation....i like it..glamorous and elegant to u tina..
I own almost all of these products if not very similar ones. I'm definitely going to try this! I've been using the same Nars foundation with a similar flat foundation brush, but I usually set it with a wet Beauty Blender or one of those puffs but with powder on it. Just using the puff alone is an interesting technique.
What is that black eyeshadow palette?
Omg so pretty...I'm obsessed with this look on u...I want her to do me next ๐โค
Wow this looks awesome. I imagine this could be for a wedding look
THATโS BEAUTIFUL!!!๐คฉ๐คฉ
I love this video! Love to see
it suits you a lot makes you even more beautiful even though it could be even bolder with some eyeliner work

here in saudi arabia our makeup looks usually would be more softer, this one looks kinda old like maybe 2016 style
Yeah, it looks very outdatedโฆ Hindash is my favourite for whatโs popular now
