Glossier is not for βpeople with perfect skinβ, it is for people who;
-Like light makeup
-are slowly trying to wear less makeup
-have dry skin
-just want a natural look
-want to touch up their natural features
-donβt like the feeling of cake-makeup
-support their motto
-support animal rights
-people who want to improve their skin
-want to include skin care in their makeup
-just want to have fun!
avocadomutt not every glossier products are vegan but they'e cruelty free at least
BB cream, powder and highlighter works soooo much better and looks like your actual skin without feeling the product all over your skin. And BB cream has more benefits than this crap
PreachππΌ
Andrew Aguayo Iβve never found a makeup brand that nails every product like Glossier. And Iβve tried my share of BB cream. Iβd say itβs more shit than Glossier π€·ββοΈπ€
skittergi Canβt relate.
i love the concept of this company, tbh. i love how itβs targeted towards making you look better, and not towards making you glow the hell up. itβs you but with a little bit of color and such. i just really adore the concept as someone who likes to go natural most of the time.
shyra Same here! ππ
shyra i love the concept, but it's way too overpricedπ
I don't do natural makeup very often but at school I can't wear makeup so this company would be good for that.So I agree with you and maybe I will try it.
I love the idea of this and milk makeup. I just wish it wasnβt so expensive for makeup that doesnβt do that much
A A true!! as a high schooler or college student, itβs really gonna have to be at the lower tier of our priority lists to get it. π
seriously this brand is what all youthful girls need, instead of that full cake face! YOU LOOK GORGEOUS AND YOUTHFUL AND HEALTHY AF!
she looks that way before makeup
but not everyone can afford that hella expensive products
Ikr like what teenager can afford a full face of make up that costs over 100$
+ it doesn't help with those who have acne
I'm sure now that Glossier is becoming big, other brands will come out with more "natural" style makeup at lower prices.
I can't deal with these comments. "This is only for people with flawless skin!" Really? Not everyone wants medium to full coverage, including some people with imperfections, acne, freckles etc. Not every brand needs to target women who want to cover their face. It's nice to have variety on the market so that EVERYONE is catered for. If you aren't into this style of makeup, buy from one of the hundreds of brands out there that suit you better. Simple.
Katie Aviss THANK. YOU.
Yessssss.
Thank you. I have problem skin but still do not want full coverage..
THISSSS, finally someone said it
YESS! THANKS!
All i can think about is Nikkietutorials trying this full face of glossier challenge
EsmΓ©e - she'd fail after 3secs lol
EsmΓ©e - omg me too!!!!
π
@@ultraviolet3956 yasss
She'd start adding her own products on lmao.. like oh the skin tint is too sheer let me just amp it up a bit * cakes on full coverage foundation* perfect!
When she put the dot of the cloud paint on her hand, I started screaming because I already knew she had too much
The only full face of glossier Iβve seen that doesnβt try to cake on all of the products and keeps the brandβs goal in mind πππ
i feel like this product is good for young girls. bring out their natural beauty and not look 26 at 13.
Totally, I'm 19, but i don't like to use too much makeup to change my natural features.
I agree. Me being younger, 11, likes natural looks better than really caked makeup. I do really like makeup to bring out my natural look rather than covering it up. Though Iβm at that stage where I have acne, so the concealer goes really well with the lighter Products. I am still a child so I would rather not look older than I am. I think cake makeup brings out my long face while I would rather have a rounder face shape, this brand is really good for girls around my age who just started wearing makeup. It is NOT cheap for me because I donβt have a job and my mother and father donβt say me for doing chores, (They make me do them anyways.) Iβm not saying older women and girls canβt wear this, Iβm just saying itβs more common for girls like me to wear this kind of makeup. I think more Beauty gurus should try this brand!
Strumii you sound so well spoken for your age. If you didnβt mention it I wouldnβt even tell
My little sister who is 11 LOVES makeup so I bought her a little bit from glossier and she loves it! She actually looks her age because whenever I buy her any βnormal makeupβ she looks about 17
superaweosome91 thank you !!
Comment section:
98% βYou donβt need flawless skinβ
2% βYou need flawless skinβ
Truth
For real
All these people complaining about having a perfect skin..... but not all people with acne/sensitive skin wants a full coverage routine actually you end up looking worse. I have acne and blemishes and Iβd love to try Glossier itβs just a preference.
ikr i have clear and smooth skin but i dont want full coverage makeup i just want something simle
Yes I agree!! Whenever I have really bad breakouts I donβt like to cover it up too much or else I just break out more...
Yeah, like full coverage on my eczema patches and breakouts? It's not a good look and it sometimes gets patchy. However, you CAN do full coverage with blemishes, if you know what you are doing when it comes to applying makeup. It just some patience and plenty of practice. I can do full coverage and look okay, but I use a lot of moisturiser and I wear mostly satin-dewy finish makeup. Matte does not compliment my dry patches at all, no matter how much moisturiser I use. lol BB creams are good for a natural look or if you just want your skin to have a little glow to it and get a good coverage without it looking patchy. xD
Yes. I have acne scars and deep chicken pox scars. Cakey makeup just enhances those.
I love how natural is glossier but its also very expensive :(
Rus kedisi good ingredients I guess
Ariana Goddard true but also cause itβs pretty popular
Honestly if itβs gonna be something youβll wear everyday/ frequently itβs totally worth the price. A lot of the full coverage stuff is very expensive too.
You can always buy main things like the skin tint, cloud paint, stretch concealer and perhaps a lip gloss. The rest you can buy at a drugstore. This could include a cream blush, a clear/tinted brow gel, a mascara, highlighter and a sheer lipstick.
Hannahhoshi1 I agree. And maybe you could also buy a different full coverage foundation and just sheer it out with a moisturizer!
i cant be the only one with oily , acne prone skin that prefers lighter products like this
. . . right ?
thicker stuff just breaks up and melts off my face
as somebody with combination skin and my skin changing as the seasons go by... i love glossier and i use it daily. though i struggle with redness and acne from time to time, i canβt see myself using a full coverage foundation and concealer every day. :)
Nope youβre not I have oily skin and pretty bad acne but I donβt like thick high coverage makeup
@@zakyiaclanton6877 same!! these are my favorite face products now! ive got really red/oily skin and this works perfectly and feels like nothings on my face its great
Your not the only on lol I'm here too
right here with you
We need your skin routine, your skin looks so clean and perfect! So pretty!!
YES YES YES ^^ Tina needs to see this
Exactly what I was thinking!
Yes! Please share it.
YES PLEASE
Ana IgnjatoviΔ Yes!
What I love about Tina, other than her detailed and honest reviews is that she doesn't get involved in "tea" in the make up community. Like tbh, nowadays the beauty community is filled with that, like they would do everything to get views even if it means stepping on other fellow youtubers. I like that Tina's just doing her thing and she earns her views and subscribers because she's not only a great beauty guru she also has a good character. :D More power to you Tina!
Jann Mendoza I completely agree
Thatβs true, and when she doesnβt like it, she DOESNT OVERREACT
true. even if the company sent her the product, she is always honest. this is why I trust her judgement whenever I wanna buy stuff.
Louie lhen Patrona YES! EXACTLY! SHE DOESN'T DO THIS WEIRD MOANING AND ORGASMIC FACE WHEN THE MAKE UP IS PIGMENTED OR WHEN THE HIGHLIGHTER IS BLINDING. SHE JUST HAS A NATURAL REACTION AND SHE LETS HER NATURAL PERSONALITY COME THROUGH. LIKE SHE'S NOT TRYING HARD TOO MUCH AND I LIKE THAT A LOT ABOUT HER. AND HER REVIEWS ARE SO OBJECTIVE AND CLEAR UNLIKE SOME BEAUTY GURUS WHO JUST TRASH A PRODUCT FOR THE SAKE OF HATING ON IT AND FAKE-LIKE/RAVE ABOUT A PRODUCT COZ THEY WANT TO STAY ON PR LIST. SOME EVEN RANT ABOUT A COMPANY WHEN THEY ARE NOT ON THE PR LIST OR WHEN THEY GET KICKED OFF.
I'm so over the whole full coverage and glam makeup. I'm falling in love with this minimalistic makeup. Looks absolutely lovely on you however. I hope it does the same for me.
I'm so sad to see so many ladies here commenting on how Glossier only works for people with "Perfect skin," as if their acne prone, eczema or other skin conditions on their skin make them any less beautiful.
I wish the beauty industry would use models with acne or acne scars, but I guess that defeats the purpose of full coverage make up, huh.
Don't get me wrong, I think make up is cool as an enhancer, Like Glossier or Milk, but I'm just sad to see so many women buy paint to cover up their already beautiful faces, regardless of skin conditions :(
yes! i find there shouldn't be a need to be ashamed- yes, you should care for your skin, but you shouldn't be judged for acne. everybody has it, even if it's just a pimple for some, and it's not our faults.
Lets not pretend we enjoy the look of eczema or acne and huge pores. Yeah youre still beautiful but what on earth is the point of makeup if its not going to cover that at all????
You can check out the channel My Pale Skin, she has a lot of acne but is confident to show it to the world =)
It would be so much easier to now want to cover up acne or skin imperfections if brands like glossier used models with skin imperfections!
gummyBear takeOver i heard make up makes ur acne worst :((
Oh that concealer looks so nice! concealer always looks cakey on my under eye skin
dont put too much
I've been using it for 6 months or so, it's a godsend
I put a little setting powder on the outside of my eye when I put it there, otherwise it will make little concealer lines when I smile. Works like a dream!
Vinok3 What shade do you use? I'm so pale i'm not sure it'll fit me but i'd love to try it!
kita kat? I am not pale, I use the medium, but I believe the model for their lightest shade is pretty close to being transparent, haha π, so I wouldn't worry too much!
I do my makeup super natural and i would love to use Glossier products but I just find them to be overpriced :(
You can technically adjust your makeup products, for example, if you have a full coverage that is cheap, you can just dab a tiny bit and spread if on your face using your fingers and wa-la, you got a sheer foundation, and if you want extra shine for dewy look, just double your moisturisers application.
Makeup doesn't have to be expensive if you know how to adjust the fuction
just use a cc foundation and a lipstick for cheeks and voila sheer and beautifully natural makeup
Like she mentioned though, a little goes a long way, so you could make it stretch. If that foundation is $26 and it lasts for even just two months or three, you're definitely getting your money's worth!! Especially if you use it every single day! If you only do your makeup once in a while, it'll last even longer! Same can be used for the powder and the concealer. It's a lot to spend up front, but think about overall how long it will last! I am definitely gonna look into this brand, just wish someone would carry it so i can find my shade. one thing i hate about shopping online >_
You can always add strobe cream under or with your foundation π I always use a few drops, with a dampened beauty sponge, and you'll get a sheer and dewy look
If you like natural make up thatβs affordable i would suggest Korean makeup. But just be aware their skin tone range is very limited
I have that concealer. I know that was pointless but I always get super excited whenever someone talks about or has something that I have or where I live
Does it crease?
it's time to stop no but you do need to blend it out well or else it looks cakey but it is a good concealer
hahahahahha sameee though!!!
Sameee
Potatuh sameπ is the concealer good?
I love glossier βcause I donβt really like that βheavyβ look I just want that βnatural lookβ and I am 14 so I think that it is better to not look 21 at 14 ya know
Yeah.I am 14 too and I don't wanna look like a clown when go to school or any public placesπ€‘
Princess _clrexm Same 14 and my school has rules abt makeup so itβs good that it doesnβt rly look like a lot it just looks nice
Im 12 so I can really relate becuz I like makeup but natural makeup looks good on me and my eyes are sensitiveeeee
Yes you do look like a glossier model , I honestly I like this look more then glam makeup
I am not interested in this brand for myself but Tina you look like summer. Glowy effortless looking beauty with strawberry ice lolly stained lips. It isn't glam but it is beautiful.
tina looks so pretty with this natural look
I've tried a bunch of Glossier stuff and I have to say this is the review I agree most with. Especially about Boy Brow! While I understand that it's a good product, it also has a lot of conditions to it that Tina described perfectly. I have naturally thick, long brow hairs but they're sparse in the middle, so using this was very odd. I also found that it was SUPER clumpy; you get a ton of product on the brush at once so you have to either use a really light hand or sort of blob it onto the sparser areas before you go through the whole brow, if that makes sense.
My favorite things are probably the Stretch concealer (doesn't conceal much and is pretty crease-y, but is fantastic for making the eye area look really bright and hydrated) and the Milky Jelly cleanser is truly incredible. I just really dislike how most of their products have a condition to them; like, it works but it also has x, x & x wrong with it. I don't really see how it's very effective.
How is your skin so flawless!!!ππ
Limelights! The camera helps a lot. Pretty sure her skin does look great in real life but not completely flawless
Everything Slime yes because when Iβm on camera my skin looks perfect
Mia I same here
Vitamin C serum helps me. Give it a try?
You don't need makeup
Dewy make up looks so good on her face
You look absolutely gorgeous. It is a breath of fresh air after years of seeing the makeup gurus and community cake their makeup on to the point where they don't resemble what they look like in reality. The naturalness is very pretty. And I know men find it more attractive than the fully made up face, but that shouldn't sway any girl to tell you the truth. But it IS very refreshing.
I don't fckng care what men likes or dislikes about women, but it's true, it's really refreshing to see this video and find out about this brand. I Really don't like the concept of "beauty" nowadays, using tons of makeup to change and hide your natural features and look totally different...I've never been agree with that.
swan 98 Good, I'm glad you don't care what men think. Glad we're on the same page.
aunesty jones It IS refreshing compared to all the stuff we see. Not everything is about making everybody feel happy. Some people have different opinions and things they enjoy.
Anonymous Unnamed Yes!
I think I'm trying this foundation, I hate when my foundations cover up my frickles.
me too! I donβt even wear foundation anymore, I just use concealer on my under eyes and red spots
Her skin is Shining Like The Sun.
666th like
Iβm a fan of that very soft and subtle highlighter!
This is the most calm and lovely makeup review I've ever seen. I'm here for it!
tina! we need an update on your skin care routine! your skin is just perfect!
Now I wanna buy Glossier
lunac patootie if you end up checking anything out, I have a discount link βΊοΈt.co/icJwJDtPU0
*This only works when you have flawless skin like Tina. Not on my uneven and acne filled face*
Niharika Ghosh Sorry this is not related to the topic but... Hello Dear Ahgase! ππ
Kpop is a drug ._. aite aite aite aite ahgase!!!!
Chu chu chu chuuuu~
add me to that *does not work for* list lol
Kpop is a drug ._. WOW SO AMAAAZING
It really does enhance your natural beauty! I love the final look.
You look so glowing and beautiful! I really loved this products.
Your skin is so clear and smooth. Now I want to know your skin care routine. Plz make a video on your skin care routine.β€β€
i feel like this would be good for schools that donβt let u wear makeup
freya wharton there are actually schools like that?! Really? How unfortunate
They're schools like that!!!??? π±π±π±πππ
yes there are many, actually, including mine and all the school in my province. Im more surprised at the fact that many other schools allowed it???
Elmilla Cha wow I have never been to a school where makeup wasn't allowed. What reason does the school give for not allowing it?
Sarah VanderDussen well for starter, im from Indonesia and umm let's say that being a teenager with face full of make up is not widely accepted in public's eye especially if you dont live in the capital city. surprising i know, it's really different from living in the west
Many people (surely not everyone) would judge you and some would actually call you names, etc. and my school is more on the conservative side. If a teacher spot you wearing lipstick or tint, they would hand you tissue to wipe em off. And the students here too are rly snide towards those who use make up :((( so sad
But that's when you're in school, if you're walking round the city like the mall etc it's acceptable but definitely not on school
Iβm loving this look on you! β₯οΈ
Seriously, this is the makeup look I ADORE. It looks flawless but natural and fresh and alive. I like how easy everything seemed to go on and this is the first time I watched one of your videos that made me go "I NEED THESE ALL NOW"
I really like how it look so natural and fresh !
You always look just flawless !! β€
That highlighter is amazing
I loved the feel of this video, Tina! It was so peaceful without any background music. You looked beautiful as well β€οΈ
Can u try Dominique cosmetics
*I love your look in that makeuppp* πππ
I love this look! Reminds me of high school days - youthful, vibrant and dewy π€©
Iβm 52 and π this line. I wear the full range. I play tennis almost daily and think itβs silly to wear tons of makeup while doing physical activity. I work really hard on my skin and the motto of skin first; makeup second really resonates with me. I also donβt find heavy makeup to be attractive π
So you pretty much have to have flawless everything for these products to work.
Michelle Madewell Fred hi I am mahnoor
Michelle Madewell Fred Basically. The products look like they're only meant to enhance close-to-perfect skin a little, not cover up imperfections.
Kat P Not basically, that's not the point of the brand. It's for you to accept the imperctions and embrace the features you do love.
goddessoflove4ever No need to sell glossier as a brand to me, sis. I think a lot of the products look great. I just don't think it's the right brand for people who are looking to cover up their imperfections, such as acne.
Kat P I'm not trying to sell the brand I'm saying you're missing the point. It never advertised itself to cover imperfections so I don't get you guys and Tina seem to think it's supposed.
Lol πΈ βwhoa whoa whoa hold upβ I absolutely love this video. Itβs definitely a starter makeup or a simple kiss of a natural look
Awww That "Blush On" is Really too Nice.πππ
You look lovely Tina! Glossier is meant exactly for a skin like yours, perfectly flawless. I love your tutorials, I find your voice very calming.
Thank you π xx
You're looking natural & beautiful
Your video is so relaxing and your voice is damn relaxed and chilled. I love your videooo
I love how you also used your fingers for all of it, really adds to the effortless look
Wow! The makeup looks stunning π
I really like brow mascaras but I have uneven eyebrow shapes so I use the mascara and then pomade to even them out and add a bit more structure :)
U look pretty anyway.. but with this u look really glowing
You look so beautiful! It's such a perfect summer look!
this is my favorite full makeup look ever πππ
Tina, excitedly: Am I a Glossier model now?!
Me: *yes*
Am I the only one or someone else also think that Glossier makeup products are actually cute..??
yeah the product design is super cute and looks very clean
I think this natural look is BEAUTIFUL on you!!! πππ
I honestly love how it turned out!
You know the saying, "do you see the face or do you see the make up" i like glossier brand its like improving your natural beauty than changing or hiding the flaws. Love yourself.
Tina pls pls pls try flormar makeup pls pls pls ,,and your skin looks beautiful LOVE YOU BYE ππππππ
LOVE the blush and gloss look!
Time to pick up a few new products. Thanks for sharing!
This brand is only made for naturally flawless-skinned people ππ
Dorothy Si no it's not. It's for you to accept your imperfections and enhance the features you like.
goddessoflove4ever yessssππππππππ
Yup and also for dry skin. Oily skin like mine is a no go
I used to do my make up every morning for about an hour and I was so self conscious when i was bare faced. Then I stopped doing my make up and it made my life so much more easier and made me feel more confident too! I recommend it to everyone out there. βΊβΊ
silvervixen007 same! I do makeup now cause it's fun and it gives me a chance to be creative and I like how it makes me look. Even though I'm beautiful without it I used to not be able to leave without it. Glad I got over that lol. Glad you did too!
When she was putting the concealer under her eyes I honestly felt panicked that her nail would poke it.
I was looking for a comment like this. Honestly, I flinch every single time I see it.
That has happened with me My eye bled-
This makeup look suits Tina so well π she looks so pretty
You look so great in such a natural look!
Omg! Do milk makeup next
Having a perfect skin a plus, but be reminded that too much makeup can cause breakouts. I think glossier is good because it feels light on your skin. It doesn't really have to cover up everything. And I like how the brand focuses more on making the condition of your skin good than covering up imperfections.
Youβre so stunning girl!!
this makeup really suits you and it really does enhance your features ππiβm obsessed with glossier!!
I love this video so much! I also love Glossier because itβs lightweight and their makeup makes you look SO natural! All my makeup is from Glossier ππ
Love you tina
It looks absolutely beautiful on you!!
You forever have such great quality videos.. been watching for so many years
i love glossier, but damn, it's too expensive for me. i could just go and tone down my make up and save a few bucks lol. but love their brand tbh
Hi Tina,
Im the one who said hi to u just now at centrepoint mall! Love your accent!
Yes on a side note, i noticed alfred before noticing you. He really is tall
I loved this kind of make up. Flawless make up. Dont changed too much π
Thank you for trying these out on camera! I already have the Glossier boy brow and highlighter stick, but Iβve been debating on whether or not to get the cloud paint as well.
HAPPY CHOCOLATE DAY !!! :)
You look gorgeous, I wish I could wear makeup like this, unfortunately my skin is not as flawless. This makeup suits those who naturally have an almost perfect complexion.
Love the basics! Glad you made this video.
OMG! I love it! It's so naturally
*Brace yourself for all the comments saying that you need flawless skin for this to look good on them......* in this day and age there's makeup products for all types of skin and all types of styles. If you want your blemishes covered then use products that do that. If you don't care and you wanna use natural looking products because you're confident and love the finish, then do that. It's as if it's bad to have nice skin nowadays...
Irina Agiy itβs not that serious lol
cherryspit right I'm not seriously pissed off lol I'm laughing at all the people that are butt hurt that they don't have good skin so they feel the need to point it out in others and get all upset that the video doesn't apply to them
Irina Agiy i think if anything this should encourage people who have issues with their skin to maybe try and do something about it if possible !
even if you wear heavier makeup you really should prioritize your skin if you can. itβll make the heavier makeup look good
having more options in terms of what is a βsocially acceptableβ makeup look is good imo and letβs other people who maybe donβt like heavier makeup but still do enjoy makeup in general to be confident in their personal style !!
but i get why makeup looks like these might make people feel insecure about their own features.
weβre conditioned to think you have to look a certain way to do a natural look when that isnβt necessarily true.
Literally 10 people said that, you should say βbeware of all the people complaining about perfect skin commentsβ lol
i really like glossier because iβm over the βcake face lookβ i just want my skin to seem perfect and effortless
I like how straight to the point she is
I love you tina!!
Your brows look so good with the boy brow!!
This line will absolutely make you look younger and fresh. It's a reminder that we need to invest more on skin routines so we could put less makeup.
Can u try the new Korean skin trend the Glass Skin trend?? π€π§
I would love the blush, highlight sick, brow gel, and the concealer!!! ππππ
Omg I love all the products β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ. Thank you for the review!
