I have attended and graduated with the highest of honors and have a doctorate. I had ONLY student loans. I worked around higher ed but was not in admissions. I can honestly say it appears that Lori Loughlin and her husband seemed to have great wealth but not much experience in academia. With money they were easily manipulated by the ring leader in this scheme--it appears. I think society would be best served by all parties working out a punishment that is not punitive and maybe set up a scholarship for future students as part of the solution. Trying to extract meaningless apologies from Lori Loughlin and her husband serves no purpose but maybe moving on with a swift resolution would help.

I remembered being in nursing school at the top schools in Colorado where I worked my butt off.
