The people responsible and should be held accountable are their STUPID ENTITLED SELFISH parents who are teaching them that this is the way to get what you want in life. Even if the kids knew about it and are'nt interested in going to college, it's their parents who provided the funds to pay for their education and pushed them to do so.

Personally, I’m most surprised at the extent these super rich people went. They Photoshopped their kids’ faces on real State qualifying athletes, cheated on the SAT (which is hella illegal if you read the fine print before the test), and schemed elaborate secret bribes when they could have pretended to be pro-education and publicly “donate” money to these Universities instead. Yes, bribing is wrong and it always happens, but what they did was just stupid.

Of course the rich sometimes do shady things. This is news worthy because someone was finally exposed. The rich will always try do shady things but once in awhile it’s good to see examples like this to let us know the rich are not completely untouchable and they can be caught.

Well they certainly knew they either didn't take the test themselves or they knew they didn't get th actual score that their test was changed to. They would have had to know they knew nothing about the sport they were drafted to and that they had never done the sport, not to mention the F.B.I. have phone records/recordings of the students on the phone discussing the plan with their parents and Stirling about what was going to happen and how they would benefit by it. There is zero chance they are not involved just as much as the parents.

The thing is that those rich people who committed this crime bought the place for their kids at that university while they had no qualifications for it. College isn’t for everyone. She should have gone to cosmetology school and she would have been happy with her passion. Her mom pushed her into college as most parents do unfortunately.
I’ve had a dream of becoming a nurse since I was in elementary school and I’ve been working towards my degree for the last 6 years because I chose too, and I pay for my own college. No parents to help me out. These girls don’t know the struggle. Eating under $10 a week and putting my money towards school, gas, bills, while I take care of my grandmother for the last 4 years who suffered complications after a stroke.
I’m thankful for what I do have.
