My oldest son had Autism and was completely non-verbal. Never spoke a word. He passed away in 2015 in a drowning accident. Never heard him say "I love you, Mommy!" Now I live with a huge hole in my heart and my soul.

I've never heard a song that made me cry before. This is really great.
I said the exact same thing, man. This song elicits a very raw, very powerful emotional reaction from me. This version of the video made it even worse.
As bad as I feel about some of my choices, they were choices I was able to make. Many of these people had no choice in their situations.
My heart is heavy after watching this, and my male friend and I almost started crying together when I showed him this over our lunch break earlier... this is what real music does to people. It makes us feel and brings us just a little bit closer to one another as humans with individual struggles.

Idk about love being a core emotion lol. Maybe Fear and lust or empathy would be core emotions cuz it could explain anything human action. Murdered thats from fear or lust. Raped Fear or lust. You had a kid its thro lust/basic instinct to continue the race. To say we have Love as a core emotion legit disregards the fact that people do mass murders n other horrible shit. N neither of their emotions used are fear or love. More of a disgust or a lust ecetera. Empathy is our emotion not love. Plus not to mention technically Pain Anger Sadness Depression are all in our mind in the first place. cuz of the hormones n chemicals released from our brains causes those feelings. Thats why Phyco's are so abnormal they don't have empathy (basically any murderer or rapist) so they don't feel anything when they do stuff. If more folks had this attitude Luke at least people in pain wouldn't feel alone. I'm a 58 yr old home bound vet. I can't walk and am in pain most of the time. Usually I'm fine, but sometimes the pain wears me down and I can't sleep. I miss just being out shopping and talking to everyone. Tomorrow I'll probably regret sending this cause I'll be fine again. I love this song and I can not believe it took me this long to see this specific video. It seriously had me in tears. Especially with number of “I wish I wasn’t depressed, I wish I didn’t have a mental illness, I wish I didn’t have anxiety” these are real issues that people need help with so they know they matter and that they are beautiful people meant to be in this world.

I had 3 felony charges before I was 18. I suffered from crippling depression and anxiety and OCD. I retired, financially independent, at age 32. Make your wishes come true. Be patient with yourself but also focus on achieving your goals with the intensity of a thousand suns and you can move mountains. We all fail. What differentiates those who succeed is that they learned from their failures and kept at it. Don’t give up.

I wish I could’ve saved my nephew a month ago when he overdosed on heroin his first time trying it.... I was two minutes away and had Narcan that could’ve saved his life but instead of calling me The ppl with him just filmed it.
