That song is so fucking underrated it’s CRAZY. He’s saying he built his career (this house) with fans. He has no manager, no publicist, no contracts or labels, and he did that intentionally so they can’t hurt him. He built his house with haters in mind because he knew they would come for him, and he built it strong enough to take them. Fucking brilliant.

Brian Roberts I lost 60% of my hearing in my left ear. I could never understand the lyrics. I do not want to dis any of the great rappers before Tom, but I could not understand them. I want to reiterate that it was my hearing and not the fault of the previous artists. But Tom’s ability to articulate at such insane spitting speeds is nothing shy of amazing. Tom Macdonald has taught me to enjoy a genre of music which I could not previously understand.
