Just grab a glue stick, use a lighter on the end for 3 second. Stick it. And pull. No left over glue just a removed key.

Removes broken key. Puts it right back in.

That only works if you entered the key the correct way the 1st time. Most when this happens the key is entered incorrectly and then the pins get jammed while you turn the key. Breaking it off because it won't turn

I used a dime and glue once.
I luckily had superglue in my bag because I was wearing press on nails, so I put the tiniest dot on the edge of the dime and carefully pressed it on the broken edge of the key so no glue touched the side of the lock.
Once it bonded I just slowly pulled it out far enough to grab with my fingers.
It got the broken half out so I could run right to the store and get another copy made instead of having to call a locksmith or pay the landlord for a new lock.
