I like how in the beginning of the movie, that character seemed like a dick, but in the scene you mention, it shows how much of a warrior he was. Single handedly jumped INTO a gun nest, by himself, and dominated, pulled his knife about to gut the last guy. Warrior thru and thru.

you should check out Infinity war in 4k. he looks miles better than this. the details are human like. not saying avatar vfx is shit but we definitely have better vfx since avatar.

Back when Avatar first came out in 2009, I wasn't able to watch it in theaters but as soon as it came out on DVD my grandma got it for me. First thing I thought was, the graphics/visuals and special effects transcended what we could experience in a movie. Avatar really is ahead of its time, back in 09 and to this day still is. I mean being able to make tall blue people coexist with humans and not make it look too fake or cringe. It's still my favorite movie of all time. I just remember being so encaptured in it all, like I was there, the storyline, the emotions, the true reality of the story based on true events we've dealt with as human beings. Still haven't seen the new one yet but 12 years later after the first one, there's movies with millions of dollars for the budgets over the years that don't still don't even come close to this masterpiece. Just remarkable.

The first time I watched Avatar was 3 days ago, such a fkn masterpiece of movie. In the final scene I was just with goosebumps. Really amazing.
The final battle was AWESOME !!! Even tho Trudy and the former leader of the clan ( don't remember how to spell his name ) died in battle,it showed the true consequences of warfare.
It still has good graphics and its 12 years old
The giant ass gunship breaking formation and started firing accompanied with the god damn chanting in the background music gave me fucking chills every damn time.
This shows how strong and good he is.

You know, Avatar is like history repeating itself. In America, there was the Native Americans. Then the settlers came along and sort of had a truce, then wanted to take the land and find gold.Same in this movie: The Na'vi are the natives, and the humans are the settlers and want to take everything that the planet has without giving back.

This is how good CGI can be if movie executives stop pushing directors to meet unrealistic deadlines and rush people in post production. Look how bad the recent JURRASIC Park movies CGI looks compared to the first 2.
Although the editing may be terrible, that impressive cameo at the 3:22 mark wasn't cut out. If you look closely you can see Rowan from Viva La Dirt League.

My two cents in the beginning of the film Jake is saying he had a dream about flying and then he has to wake up. He was in the marines has a combat marine in Venezuela. Venezula is a jungle very similar to Pandora. Why does Jake so "easily" betray to "humans?" He more than likely experienced this and how he lost his legs. He gets a do over to get it right. Dreams are supposed to help us cope with the outside world. Jake is trying to make up for his passed mistakes. Why has he not told Neytiri his wife, what happened to him before he became an Avatar

I literally came here to watch this fight sequence, I own the movie if I wanted to I could've watched it: but I don't want to zoom past parts or put it on just to see this fight. If people are saying that I should've watched the movie instead, there's literally no point in he existence of this video. The logic of a lot of people is flawed tbh.
