Revelatory, & the most important part of the whole divulging, isn't it, @topgospelcity? If Christ Jesus the Almighty is not in it, I mean really in it, in spite of whatever "service" it is that is being said to be of Him & for Him, then it is vanity, & when the day of testing what sort of thing it is was being presented as being on His behalf really was, it will be revealed as vanity, emptiness, worthless.
I hope everybody realized that Lauren said she had been rather obsessed with being "inclusive," which is why mention of God was omitted.
This was certainly a moment of honesty, & it is honesty that we each need to have any hope of becoming genuinely saved & of staying saved.
As far as becoming genuinely saved is concerned, being genuinely saved cannot happen outside of what Christ Jesus the Almighty (rf. Isaiah 9:6-7; Matthew 28:18; Revelation 1:8; etc) prescribed, & His prescription is in such passages as Luke 24:46-47, & 48, which is exactly what His faithful apostles -- His "witnesses" (rf. Luke 24:48) -- administered to all those of their times who wanted to be saved (rf. Acts 2, especially 1-4, & 37-39; 8:12-17; 9:3-6, & 13-18 with 22:10-17 & 26:12-19, as well as 1 Corinthians 14:18 to see that, from when Paul received the infilling of Jesus' Spirit, he experienced the accompanying promise of kainos glossa, "new tongues" (rf. Mark 16:17); Acts 10, especially verses 44-48 with 11:15-17; 16:25-34, particularly verses 30-34; 19:1-6; Romans 6:1-9; Colossians 2:11-15, noticing verse 12's, "Buried with Him [i.e. Christ Jesus] in baptism..."; etc).
If Lauren Daigle has become aware of these passages of Scripture as yet, I don't know, nor do I know if, in becoming aware of them, if indeed she has become aware, she has obeyed any of the salvific steps -- i.e. developed an obedient faith in the Lord Jesus by actually obeying Him; repentance, which is agreeing with Him that what He says is sin is indeed sin, & thus renouncing personal sins & denouncing sin; submission to water baptism in His Name, i.e. JESUS; seek after & submit to the infilling of His Spirit, which promise will come, per the Scriptures, with kainos glossa accompanying; & continuing submission to the sanctification process being wrought by His Spirit & His blood (rf. John 17:17; etc).
If Lauren was exposed to this that is the genuine Gospel of Christ Jesus the Immanuel, the Almighty, the One True God (rf. John 1:10-12; 1 Timothy 3:16; Isaiah 9:6-7; etc), & obeyed, her attire & cosmetic accessories (rf. 1 Timothy 2:9-10; 1 Peter 3:3-5; etc) -- thankfully she at least does not appear to have cut her hair, rf. 1 Corinthians 11:6 & 14-15 -- as well as her own words elsewhere do not indicate that indeed has partaken of what the Bible documents the Lord Jesus as referring to as "born again" (rf. John 3:3 & 5-7), & the steps of which, by Scriptures, I laid forth above.
One thing Lauren has said on many occasions in recent years that raised serious questions & concerns, & no doubt arises from her obsession with being "inclusive," "inclusive" being that which the devil & the world tries to frame as being "loving," is that she personally cannot say that homosexuality is a sin.
According to her, she is not a "theologian," although, quite frankly, everybody wanting to become a Christian & to grow in Christianity should be a "studier of God," which is really what being a genuine theologian is. This she has used as a cop out when it comes on to an answer being asked for from her about homosexuality, her having added, during such times, that she has many friends who are homosexual.
Whoever does not see these things as a major problem is in denial, even as Ms. Daigle is, for the Bible is quite plain on the matter, the Bible declaring from Genesis & in its several other places that only sexual intimacy between a man & a woman in the commited bonds of matrimony is His will & blessed by Him, &, as if that is not enough, He openly & explicitly condemns homosexuality in other parts of His Book.
The question is whether or not we are going to be honest, as I mentioned at the start. What is is what is; what is not is what is not. What God says He means. If we do not obey, there are consequences. This is of truth.
Lauren Daigle, whose songs "(Seek You) First" & "I Will Trust in You" I, by the way, loved when she had just come on the scene as a recording artist, has had some honesty in some of her most recent song's lyrics, honesty that has revealed via the lyrics that her mind been in a state of serious struggle, a tug-o-war, the devil & the world calling her one way while the Lord is trying to call her into Him &/or deeper into Him.
Her song "Hold On to Me" definitely screams this, &, frankly, I cannot stand the part that talks about "slamming doors" that God "has openned," or some such phrasing. The very thought is repulsive to me, & makes me shudder!
At least she is asking Him to "hold on to me," albeit, if one is running away from Him, that is causing Him pain that He need not be made to experience, & there is a possibility, a very real possibility, that, unlike a line in Tauren Wells' song "Known" suggests, He may actually just go ahead & let go, surrendering a person to his or her own waywardness.
I genuinely hope & pray Lauren Daigle is delivered from all the snares & weapons of Satan & enters into Christ Jesus to be salvifically elevated by Him. Amen. 💖🙏🏼

Amazing. I was addicted for nearly a decade, it got really bad to the point where I didn’t even care if I lived or died and I was hopeless. I put my family through hell, I remember a couple years ago I visited my grandmother and aunts out of state. I believed in a higher power at the time and although I know Jesus was a great man I never trusted in him as The Savior. My aunts prayed for me with their hands on my shoulders, I’ll be honest I thought it would be a quick 10 second prayer and sort of took it as a joke. After an uncomfortably long amount of time I was just thinking “ok when will this be over already?” Few seconds later I just felt myself surrender to it all. The love of Christ had seemed to pierce the veil to my heart that was numb and cold for so long. It wasn’t like I was healed overnight and I struggled, but something felt different, for the first time in a long time I felt hopeful. I went to detox the following month and although it was a tough road I can happily say I have 2 years clean from drugs. I thank my family for keeping me in their prayers and Jesus for restoring me to sanity. I am happier than ever today because of the love and sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

I can relate to the PTSD and anxiety. I also have OCD and possibly D.I.D. Disassociate Identity Disorder. Lately, my anxiety and OCD has been getting the best of me. It's mostly at home, but sometimes at work too. But I have found that when I start praying or listening to songs that worship Him, it goes away. I am also a survivor of attempted suicide 33 years ago. We all have been through different experiences in our lives, but have one thing in common and that is the restoration that God gives and has given to us. I no longer question why things happen as I have learned that they happen for a reason. All we have to do, is trust Him. To Know that He will walk with us and give us the strength we need daily to live. I don't know your past experiences, but I do know that God has been with you from the beginning. I just know what I know and sometimes I will share what I know and other times I am silent. We serve and amazing God.

Yes, I too stopped listening to her when Jesus was left out, hidden or covered up. It seemed like she was afraid of offending someone by lifting up Jesus. In contrast, Charity Gayle so boldly and beautifully proclaimed Jesus that I was embolden too. If Lauren continues to proclaim and lift up Jesus with her gift of song, He can more than ever lift up her service and abundance of life to bless others even more richly. I pray Lauren will do that.

If you think it's difficult to follow God, realize the alternative is waaaaaay worse. Oh you might be able to have fun sitting on the fence but sooner or a later you'll end up on one side or the other. and most fence sitters have been falling or are being trapped onto the bad side.

Pray and ask, how can I be of service in ways that are rt for me. Also get blood work see if your low in D, B Vitamins or perhaps magnesium

Keep your mind only on good things. When you need to think of bad things in order to try and deal with them, only do it during a set aside time.

This is unbelievable!! I so needed to hear this at that exact moment. I was on FaceTime with my ex-husband (still a friend) who was going through boxes for me and after putting things aside for when I’d have a baby into boxes (I didn’t marry until I was 40. No sex before marriage so no babies but God had given me a very clear spiritual dream and then backed it up with scripture the next day, about the barren woman having children, so I’d held onto it for 25 years. We got pregnant on our honeymoon just like I had declared for all those years but lost the baby). I know I had stepped out in unbelief and married a nice quiet Christian man but he wasn’t God’s choice and it was a disaster. Domestic violence not too bad but not healthy.
Now I’m 49, no chance of getting pregnant, so have all my years of baby stuff to the op shop. Then had to throw away all the plans I had for the house I got built before I get married. I lost the house due to an injury and couldn’t work for a year and that’s when I got married and my husband wouldn’t work so I was left to provide for him and his daughter.
So today, got rid of my house plans and paperwork and all my baby things and felt so defeated, disappointed etc. then listened to this and I’ve been praising God since.
Honestly what she said was perfect. I can’t stop singing Hosanna and the Lord spoke to me as I’ve been unable to cry about losing my baby and the dreams with her etc. and told me to write it all down including all the guilt and regrets I’m carrying and shame and anger at myself for marrying the wrong guy. I rushed into it in unbelief as I was 40 and desperately wanted a child. Then He said burn it and stop picking it up again. My health has been so bad I’m now off work but I think a lot is from the guilt I’ve been carrying.
I love the Lord with all my heart and had dedicated my life to Him, did missions etc but then made that stupid mistake. So did I miss out on the right guy? Children? I don’t know but I do know He is bigger than my mistakes and is able to use the fragments and broken pieces of my life if I give them to Him. He has shown me for many many years me preaching salvation, deliverance and healing in front of seas of people and I’m going to keep believing for that.
I will save this testimony and keep listening to it.

1.you're 100% right, lots of people will still go through trials, but trials are a part of life. They're the reason we chose to came to earth in the first place. We're never going to not have trials as long as we want to keep learning and growing.
2. Yes, there are tragic circumstances and events that befall humanity, or seemingly innocent people who didn't "deserve it" like the pandemic, but we see such a small part of what actually happens. (I've seen and heard so many miracles that came aa a result of the pandemic too). I've heard stories of how people took trials, sickness, and disability and used it to become stronger than ever, or it helped them come closer to God when they never would have before)
3. Basically, yes you're right, "restorer of broken dreams" is not a scriptural term, but Savior, Redeemer, and Prince of Peace are scriptural names for Jesus Christ, and I am sure if we hold out faithful until the end, keeping in mind God's plan eternally, we will eventually revieve all of these blessings, even if it's not here on earth.

Ok you're right, God doesn't fix or heal in that way, but that doesn't mean He's not watching out for us, or healing us in different ways! Remember the woman with the issue if blood, she delt with that completely alone for 11 years straight, and she had the faith to CRAWL to Jesus in a crowded area and just touch the hem of His robe.
Hear me out, I was a top performer at Disneyland for four years! Then in my prime st 21, I had an accident and ended up having a stroke, unable to return to my awesome job as a face character. Or ever perform in front of a crowd or use literally half of my body ever again. But in His mysterious and awesome ways, He used that fi increase my faith and being me closer to church. And now my life has been better then my wildest dreams in the past five years. We, or nobody can say increasing your faith is going to fix anything... In THIS life. Nowhere in the bible does it say life is going to be easy. But there are many times that it says, Jesus is watching for us, and He will bless us. If we have faith, and eyes to see.

YOU SAW them living with the guilt of committing crimes to the heart. YOU SAW them enduring personal crisis. YOU SAW the weight of the burden on their hearts with each tribulation. YOU SAW them seeking comfort from the above mentioned topography, ONE OF THE MANY MARVELS YOUR PERFECT HANDS HAVE MADE. 👏👏👏 YOU SAW their worries about tomorrow.
If their hearts were a window that they could look through, oh the pains and scars they would see. What a cruel fate the skin gives as a mask to the inward pain. But the skin couldn’t cover THE SUFFERING YOUR ONE AND ONLY SON BORED on the cross as PAYMENT for all our sins because HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS ALONE HAD THE MERIT TO MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF YOUR HOLINESS. Indeed, ONLY HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS IS SUFFICIENT TO SAVE us from this present evil world as evidenced by Mary's song of praise. They have seen a lot of crazy things done in YOUR NAME. For example, the father of lies futile attempts to make crooked the right ways of the LORD to turn people away from faith in the WORKS OF JESUS CHRIST ALONE. How can anyone bear the thought of his or her life story detracting from the GLORY AND HONOR KNOWN TO BELONG TO CHRIST ALONE? As a consequence, YOU ARE A MYSTERY OF GREAT MYSTERY to them. Despite this conviction, YOU ARE MINDFUL of them as evidenced by the fact that YOUR JUDGEMENT is not speedy, allowing them to pursue the desires of the flesh.
They are aware of hypocrisy in religious assemblies that like to be seen and heard. In addition, secular education teaches that there is no right and wrong, if GOD exists there is no way of relating to HIM, and moral standards shift according to the whims of fashion. Therefore, their minds are conditioned to question everything this world has to offer including “THY POWER THROUGHOUT THE UNIVERSE DISPLAYED.” They have accepted the heavy burden of dealing with the troubles of this life and seek to know another way, YOU THE GREAT COMFORTER TO ALL who did receive YOU as their personal SAVIOR. Still, YOU have shown them NEW MERCY every day with each thought they make and each breath they take.
Unfortunately, like the prodigal son, we are all guilty of wandering far from YOU LORD because the negative experiences of our lives tend to build roadblocks to the TRUTH. As time marches on, JESUS CHRIST HELP them to identify the way, truth, and eternal life (that is YOU). Since to know and follow your SPIRIT is more exciting than any 007 movies, and YOU DELIGHT MAKING the ordinary into extraordinary. As time marches on, JESUS CHRIST MAKE them understand that there is no way around YOUR TRUTH, and that there is something about YOUR NAME. As time marches on, JESUS CHRIST HELP them defeat in their minds

LORD GUIDE their thoughts to know that the path of sin is hard on their hearts for the purpose of crying out to YOU to know the joy, peace of having the heavy burden LIFTED by THE GOD OF PEACE I AM, and ANCHOR their souls in THE HAVEN OF REST. LORD HELP their fainting hearts to believe that YOU, who was slain on the cross over 2000 years ago has the POWER TO CHANGE lives today through the INSTANTANEOUS GREAT FAVOR from GOD to the house of Israel made known in believers by YOU to make YOUR NAME EVERLASTING. 🥰 For as the statue liberates the citizens so the cross liberates the soul. ONLY YOU can calm the trouble waters of the mind when one admits to wanting salvation from one’s sinful nature, JESUS IS LORD, and believes in the heart that GOD RAISED HIM from the dead TO LIFT the heavy burden of sin's guilt away from the heart in accordance to YOUR WORD found in Psalm 51:1-10 KJV. 👏👏👏👏👏👏 O, the wonder of it all to experience within the flesh the feeling of a tree being cut back/pruned in order for it to grow stronger and more beautiful after meditating on the words of said Psalm. 🥰🙌

Creation sings the rebirth song for them yearly, through YOUR PROMISE of springtime, giving rise to the idea that by the mention of YOUR NAME flowers grow, and the desert blooms again. 🥰
LORD GUIDE their understanding of words to use to come into YOUR PRESENCE with an honest reverence of WHO YOU ARE to experience the beauty that time can't erase YOUR WISDOM resting on their faces. LORD STRENGTHEN their determination to never waiver in efforts to search for YOU because the wages of sin is too high for anyone to pay. Additionally, THE KING OF KINGS is needed in their hearts to learn how to expand their capacity to love for YOU are LOVE in any language. 🥰 Once they learn to speak it with boldness through YOUR WONDERFUL COUNSELING all the world will hear, and know that LOVE is the language of their hearts. So LORD, KEEP KNOCKING on their doors until they let YOU in to know hardships and struggles will end with a GREAT CELEBRATION WITH YOU. 🥰🙌
If one believes faith cannot be forced, YOU WILL GIVE that individual over to the stubborn heart to follow own counsel which will surely fail him or her to the extent that the punishment will last forever found in Psalms 81 NIV. Given this, I pray that YOU WILL MAKE that person see that this feeling is wasted for a world in which we become strangers as we age, gives us thrills instead of peace, aims to solve a problem but creates another, and unrest surges with each passing generation. Shed some light into their broken hearts for YOU ARE THE GREAT JEHOVAH, THE GOD THAT HEALETH thee.
Lastly, LORD when they call on YOU in earnest prayer to come into their hearts to be born again (repentance manifesting itself in a changed life), I pray that YOU WILL GIVE them the blessed assurance of their salvation because nothing breaks YOUR HEART, or tears YOU apart like when they cry from the trials of the devil who comes to slander, falsely accuse, steal, kill & destroy. Only by drawing nearer to YOU LORD will put them on a path to a glorious one way trip winding upward to YOU where pain is not welcome because the heart will never break anymore. For ONLY YOU UNDERSTANDS our tears since YOU LOOK at the heart, while humans look at the flesh.
O LOVE that will not let them go. When they don't have the strength to try, and have cried all they can cry hear their hearts that need YOU more today than yesterday. Many thanks LORD for speaking TRUTH in our lives TO BLESS those who are not offended by THEE. LET YOUR WILL BE DONE because YOUR LOVE ALONE CONQUERS everything by WAITING for them to cease struggling, and finally surrender to YOUR EMBRACE to learn about YOUR LOVE AND PROMISE TO TAKE CARE of your children exquisitely. 🥰 Since...
