Midas didn’t die from the shark, he was just wounded, and the shadow variant is a magical attempt to restore him to his former life which will eventually fail and then result in presumably Jules building a suit for him to make his mangled body whole again

But what if when Midas says "I'm sorry" in one of his voice lines, he is not actually in control but the Chaos Agent is controlling him and using him to take over the island. But a blow to this theory is that the update is called Midas's revenge implying that he is getting payback.

Hey T5G I know this might have nothing to do with the storyline but if you look closely at the animation of turning into a shadow you can realize that you actually defy what the island is trying to do, usually when you die you get picked up by a drone the you go back to the lobby but now while being picked up by the drone you break it and escape defying the island and come back from the dead

Theory: Midas was somehow ryfted in to the cube and was brought back to life by its power and it sent body guards (cube Monsters) to protect him from the island inhabitants (us).

The Last Laugh bundle could be called that because Midas is gonna have the last laugh, and succeed in his plans. (Or because of the joker, but just a theory.)

Here is a theory: You know how we got first person in the live season event 2 seasons ago? There we found Jonesy right??? So, with Midas being in a Villains pack, it is possible that Epic Games is playing the role of whatever Agency Jonesy serves, and are trying to tell us that Midas is evil, when in reality, he is not.

We need a UNO crossover and galactus gets uno reverse carded and he flies back to his galaxy and recovers the planets he destroyed

Theory: Midas is not only wanting to control the storm but he has galactus to deal with too. If Tony can possibly control the zero point, he can trick galactus into going through a different rift. Tony might sacrifice himself to save the island. But what about Midas you ask? Well he is still on the island. In the leaked pack he is Midas Rex and it comes with joker and poison ivy. That is DC in a marvel season. DC might team up with marvel in the fight with galactus making the good team stronger and galactus will be defeated. But how will he be defeated? Stark will drain out the zero points energy to make a very powerful weapon out of zero point energy. If Tony does that, we will win.

There is a crashed ghost plane in coral castle so I believe shadow and ghost were from the real world which means that midas knew that he wasn't in the real world so he created the device to escape the loop but it wasn't powerful enough so now he is getting his revenge by hunting down the people of the fortnite world. Just a theory

Theory: Midas was the one in the containment truck and broke out with his storm shadow powers.

isn't it a coincidence that the storm king was in THE MIDDLE of the map WHERE the zero point was also we know that the 0 point has a lot of power and a theory is that chaos agent made the storm king and maybe tried to get the zero point power since that didnt work he BROUGHT Midas back.

THEORY TIME: Midas is actually evil but with tony stanks help he convinces him to be part of the team, so tony creates midas a suit for him to fight the dark energy corrupting midas' brain, so midas of course might have control over the Zero point so he tells tony to protect where ever it is secure or placed in, and if the collector is envolved midas could talk about what they know about the island and of course they have the brains to give tips to tony so he can create the tech powerful enough to defeat and stop the black winter.

After this happens you will not be able to catch the Midas fish and it will be taken out of the fishing book (so that you can still complete it for people that havn't)

I actually think that Chaos agent was never the villain to begin with, and he was just in Midas' pocket the whole time, because we know Midas was a neutral party, and he was considered a "mastermind". The evidence is only further supported by Chaos Agent's presence in the "Double Agent Pack" which shows that he was at least working with, if not for, Midas himself. If anyone has any holes to poke in this theory let me know.

That doesn't make sense. If everything is a simulation and once we die we come back to life but without memory. Why did that not happen to midas. Everybody went along saying he is dead when we can come back to life.
