Walaza putting us on the map
Word I can't wait to see more of walaza and mukona
Don’t yall have the world record in the 400m?
@@tntdavid7744 mukona is on his way to greatness when his in u/20
@@wesbesttreacts4515 I'm referring to our generation of sprinter and Guateng runners
WVN: "YO WTF?!" 🥇
africa as a continent has really been pumping out some impressive short distance sprinters recently. Love to see it, athletics is always more exciting when its not dominated by any one country.
The amplified male version of Abby Steiner’s arm carry.
You mean Andre degrass
@@cwhitingandres form has improved dramatically over the years
@@ThelegendkingAnd even Andre's form was that bad back then. It was just the one arm
☠️
Dude looked like he was running for his life not the tape.🏃🏿♂️🐆
🤣🤣🤣🤣
He gotta breathe😂
That boy's gonna give himself a whiplash, lol.
Made me chuckle lol
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Reminds me of Tebogo junior improvements..of the 200m
2021-20.31s
2022-19.87s
As a juniors...😭
Then 2023 he did 19.50...
His 19.87 was in 2023 tho, but he did run 19.96 in the 2022 U20 Championship
Urm? He ran 19.96 in 2022?
@@desmondyungoh yea 2022 was 1996 but he still ran 19.87 before his 20th birthday
Tebogo is such an outrageous talent. He could medal in the 100, 200 and 400 but surely the schedule wouldn't allow it.
That running form is something else :) Should note that a lot of these meets in SA take place at favourable high altitude in Pretoria.
Interesting, the 10.13 was at 1300m, after some Googling looks like that should take around 0.05 off his time, so still super impressive, but definitely a factor
@@alanyt2000 Exactly, people make a big deal about altitude.
@@actual_random yeah... because it is a big deal. .05 is a lot.
@@actual_randomthat still technically is a big deal
@@alanyt2000 Closer to 0.06, so his 10.13 (0.3) is 10.19 (0.0) at sea level, still very good for his age but there's a difference. But there's clearly room for improvement both physically & with that terrible form!
The Walaza express
Get this kid a coach. His form is totally wild.
Walaza got that Speed Stars form
Actually tho
Africa on the rise❤
@4:25 I thought you were about to mention the recent Africa Games in Accra. He'd have won Gold!
Nope. 10.14 into a headwind won Gold at the games
@@ena1rume Agree. Just putting the time into perspective as the video has done at 4:25. Still quick though! Hopefully we will see him on circuits like the diamond league in a few years time.
I'm South African and I had no idea about these performances. I follow athletics very closely. Especially the local ones, so I'm shocked that I somehow missed this
That is some crazy running form, but hey, if it gets the results...
I'm South African and believe me that technique works 😂
Love this vid keep going bro
As he gets older maybe he’ll change form to something a bit more orthodox with his same signature style and that will propel him even further and faster
🥸😎Tanner Adams is a teenager that just ran a 10.19 and Tanner Adams is getting faster and faster as time goes on also so we will see what happens🙂🥸
😎🙂Tanner Adams is a teenager that just ran a 10.19 and Tanner is getting faster and faster as time goes on so we will see what happens in the future🙂🥸😎 Look up Tanner Adams🙂
The second he changes his form he will become very slow.
@@westendwarlord exactly my point good form doesnt mean good speed
Nah, as a South African that has seen the technique work, I wanna see him go far with it 😅
Must see race: Walaza vs Steiner
The winner being whoever gets 2 falls or a submission?
Vs Degrasse in 2016
How bout this guy and Tanner Adams...look him up🙂
Thanks it's great to see new faces and there's a lot of us who loves track all of it there training is better than other sports swiming is too . thanks
He has much to learn. I hope he gets the coaching he deserves.
Danko Walaza
Mans ran 10.2 twice and 10.1 all in the same day ...unreal
Let's gooo!!!
Immagine he works on his form🥶
I witnessed this Walaza guy over the weekend . He is a star indeed ✨️ 😍 💖 ♥️
South Africa vs the world 🇿🇦.We Coming !!
@Total Running Productions you actually got that 200m list wrong, 2nd in the world rn for U20 is Okon Udeme who ran 20.54 and claimed 2nd in the same race that Bayanda ran
Thanks to S.A Track for the footage - follow here - instagram.com/sa.track/
So #2 must be Tanner Adams from Bushland HS in Texas. Just ran 10.19.
Next level stuff here
Can you heard marks ?
South Africa in the chat 🇿🇦
Awez
His extremely asymmetric form might bring inquiries in the future. The problem isn't the movement of his head, but rather one leg being overly dominant, causing extreme stress on the hamstring Achilles tendon of this leg. Perhaps his form is a natural compensation for one leg being considerably longer than the other. Hope I'm wrong...
Bro his still young his gonna fix all thoes things once he does he will be a dangerous athlete
Need to see him run at sea level before ranking him up there with Boonson. Sprinting in Pretoria is a major advantage
Bro has the Raheem Sterling run 😭
My guy to his right was closing hard!!! Too!!! Wow!!!😅
Neo modibe
He runs like he's trying to fight the air.
🤣🤣🤣
I can imagine him on Monday morning at school, stretching his body like: " ah, ooh, yeah running the fastest time on planet does that to you".😂
Ain't no way I'm staying humble for that month 🎉
I'm just waiting to see his varsity years in track
South Africa is in the Southern Hemisphere. The fact that they are running their age division National Championships in March suggest this may not be as early in his season as you think.
Nah man it's too early our season starts in January
Our season ends in like October when we have this competition called top 30 it's one of the biggest events in the country
In that top 10 u20 rankings 4 of them are south african
Bayanda walaza
Neo modibe
Tshepo tyantini
Bradley nkoana
South Africa is gonna be dominant this season in the u20 devision watch out for all these guys at African and world junior champs
Another guy to watch out for is mukona manuvela he ran 10.37 and 20.85 at the same championship but in the u/18 division his only 15 years old
how many young sprinters did South Africa produce? i have not seen even 1 in the Olympics. This boys don't grow to compete in the highest stage
@@keketsomega8358 But Simbine was 4th at the previous Olympics 100m Finals. The other two SA representatives in Maswanganyi and Leotlela progressed to the semis. Leotlela was unlucky in particular in that he was leading in his semifinal but had a muscle injury that prevented him from winning the race. SA has been decently represented in sprinting in recent years if you exclude USA and Jamaica.
That type of running technique is common here in South Africa.
You push air to go faster, and you must breathe out at the same time.😂😂
Andrew can u make a vid a out the greatestjunior athletes to ever glaze the track...covering he likes of Knighton,Tebogo,
Reminds me of Bob Hayes
Yes, somewhat. Bob Hayes had a "staggering" style, where his left stride was much longer than his right stride. (Uneven leg lengths?) It made him look like he was staggering when he was approaching top speed.
Bayanda walaza putting sa on the map
Walaza Express
Jordan Ware broke the Tennessee High School state record with a 10.13
Nyck Harbor. 10.16 this past weekend
Look up Jelani Watkins from Humble (Atascocita) Texas. He should be on this list if you look at his times in the 100 and 200.
Walaza have an... interesting way of running.
We've seen a similar running style before: Bob Hayes
Rock and Roll style sprinting 🤣
Bobbing his head back and forth way more than normal....? rock and roll style running... ? LOL! Yes it clearly works.
That form will end his career at the next level
🇿🇦 !!!!!
In 1986 we had Terrance Miller at Lewisville high school ran a 10.2. We had 4 others guys that ran under 10.4. Google Houston Mcterror too.
Bro got that The last of Us infected ahh run
These are juniors. Just goes to show how much faster males are than females.
We all know this. Why bring this up to start an unnecessary argument?
@@demo99772bro a misogynist what expect, every opportunity to shit on women he would take
I understand why you mention this, but that's irrelevant to the topic of the video
Out talent is crazy
That head bob: I don’t think I’ll be able to study the video Amy more closely, I’m wondering if maybe the young man is keeping his head still, but instead, is keeping his head still, and his body is moving. Dunno.
1:13 the ranking numbers are all over the place here lol
Wasn't there a 15-year-old kid several years ago who was 'discovered' running times that nearly challenged Usain Bolt?
gout gout is back 😭
Ran 10.36 today but pulled up towards the end. Don’t know if it’s an injury
This. This is my goal. I want to become the fastest too.
His arm action is terrible….
Yeah but he can work on that he's young.
Do yu run 10.1
It was so bad I thought he was hurt. I’m sure he’ll fix it and become unstoppable!
@@word19191 very smooth brain logic
@@word19191i don’t think you need to run anything to observe that the arm action needs work.
Wild arm movement, straining his face, tense shoulders, yet is still running fast times. Bro is literally the most unorthodox sprinter in track right now. I'm rooting for him but there's a reason why coaches train you to not run like that. Over-exertion on the muscles can led to devastation. He can get away with it now due to his youth.
literally whats the difference between indoor and outdoor running . not like they are gonna run in a storm or when its extremely windy
Are we not gonna cover that the 800m high school record has been shattered.
All them guys the high school guy's all run fast as well
Have a look at Davonte Howell he’s just as quick
running form: giggity giggity
18…. Basically an old man. Gout Gout the man, or more accurately boy.
Didn't Assinga get caught doping. Does his u20 record still count?
Israel Sunday 17? How?
Nigeria u20 lead in 10.20
😱real life flash
Still blows my mind that they can run 10meters a second when you factor that math vs what you see, seeing them run deceives you, gout gout needs to break the world record his name is villainous.
10 meters a seconds is the average speed. Top speed is closer to 11 to 12 meters a second
You need to do your research. We have a Jamaican who 9.98sec at 18yrs old.
Show that kid some Carl Lewis videos please.
Got a hunch/suspicion that he may have peaked. Of course he has until 25 years (+- 3) of age to naturally peak, but that running gate/style is not promising.
I wonder if fixing his form would make him even faster? He has time to figure it I guess.
Nice
Gout Gout is only 16 years old!
Yes Gout Gout from Australia ís my standout performer this yeár . A future World Record Holder if I ever saw one
That's wot I'm thinking - it's curtains for the rest of 'em when Gout Gout gets a couple years older!
is this really their name? WTF is gout gout
@@ImmaterialDigression his parents are from Sudan , and Góut Gout was born in Ipswich, Queensland. These are the typés of names they have.
@@ImmaterialDigression He thinks your name sucks, too
Kid would have broken 10s if he didnt have such an attrocious form
Bob Hayes
Zesty
Image if he fixed his arm swing 😪and his form
Cmilly
Maybe his way of running is a way to psychologically torture his competitors. If I were behind him, I would think: "Am I really losing to someone who looks like he's making a mockumentary of Usain Bolt in an SNL sketch?"
😂
To me, he looks like Boling.
Wait till Texas high school times start clocking lol
At least 2 boys in Texas have ran 10.21 and 10.22 and I think someone just ran a 10.19 but still trying to verify. Wonder why they are not on the list? Isn't the US part of the world!!!!
What happened to Muhammad Zhori?
Erriyon Knighton has company/competition. Can't wait to see the Olympics this year
U20 = UNDER twenty (years of age)
His only 18
He needs to relax
Hey.
Do you 100ms will SET ?
Fuck
Make you wonder a few things... with that horrible form and all tight.
APRIL FOOLS' JOKE.
Let's get some facts right. Udeme Okon 20.54 2nd on the 200m Sa junior champs final. 2nd fastest in the world. Do some due diligence before creating incorrect content
i like men
Meh when will we get distance running news sprinting is boring.
