Back in the older parts of the lore Khorne would give his champions mechanical limbs as mutations or give them gifts of weapons from 40K. Got toned down or removed later to give more space tp standard grimdark fantasy stuff

I'll be honest I always thought the models for these looked kinda dumb but seeing it animated is low key awesome.
I think the sound of it is just off putting. Why does it sound like a car engine? Seems a bit too on the nose but it could be just for promotional purposes.

The other is an Elsa baby sled, using weird ice magiks to slide(?) across all terrain... and is pulled by Generic Kislev Bears[TM].
You wouldn’t understand man kislev is only supposed to have like max 8 units that’s how it is in the lore people want their roster to be nice and shitty so that chaos comes and steam rolls them with their Harley

@@drschwandi3687 Single Entity doomstacks are probably not going to be a thing any more if CA gets the Wound System right. Single Entities will lose damage and speed based on health remaining (or something along those lines, Wounds are confirmed though)

Here's an interesting fact: this miniature was designed and released after Brütal Legend came out.

There are two types of Warhammer fans:
1. "Aw man, these motorcycle sounds are really ruining the demonic atmosphere! It's Warhammer FANTASY, guys!"

@@Prushinthespirit especially considering the ai has to take way more into account than infantry, Calvary and siege, not to mention magic and a whole host of special abilities.
I love the other total war games, but their ai is put on a pedestal by nostalgia.
@@daddypudding9074 I think the Troy is even a bit better, but still close to brain dead. The whole series is focused PvE not PvP, so the battle AI should be the top but not. It is the models and textures which consume most of the resources. I remeber the Mediveval 2 era, they had only one man working on AI. Embarasing.

I have always imagined the maws on the thrones and cannons as alive and gnashing, alluding to the fact that they're as much a mechanism as a living creature. I'm disappointed to see them static. It makes these engines look like simply pimped out motorcycles.
I think there's a limit to how small animations should be in strategy game, when you usually look on them from really far

These units are cool but I can't wait to see the units for the other gods. After all, I want to see if any of them can stop the order tide.
Each of the Gods army got some crazy cool unique units. How they'd fair against the ordertide though all depends on CA's balancing, the AI and autoresolve balance. That said now that Warriors of Chaos got 4 race factions as allies, and likely more stuff from them, it should make them harder and slower to stop.
They will also get the Chaos Dwarves as friends. And Ogre Kingdoms will be no friends of the Ordertide.
This looks great and all but when will we see any of the other “chaos God’s” units?
Yeah they haven't even shown a single full roster yet, let alone anything other than Kislev or Khorne

The Chaos Dwarves build most of the machinery used by the forces of chaos, like Hellcannons and Khorne Juggernauts. Presumably they build these too

@@thezurreal They're both. Just like Hellcannons. The Dawi-Zharr are very capable of building monsters of flesh and machine. If you take a close look at the juggernaut's hind legs they're very clearly mechanical.
