The best news , sorry if I'm a bit hard on you CA but I swearto god I love you and I love you total war franchise , I was disappointed when they say it will be on epic but now I'm so happy , I understand the companies financial way , and they want to errand profit but to do it like epic is unacceptable, either release the game to epic and no need for us to play (let the employees of epic play it they already paid) or release a polished product with excellent quality and contents and you will see that even if the cut is 50% ( steam revenue) you will have an incredible profit, again thank god for releasing it on steam , CA keep up the good work and stay on the right path please, sorry for my bad English

I am not knocking the game, I never played it. But making it Epic exclusive for an entire year eliminated most of the player base, and took away the possibility of building hype. You'll get some sales, particularly from the historic fans. But the Mythos is too much like Warhammer Lite, and most of the base has moved on and will just wait for WH3. Please never do this again. ๐

@@KakashiKyle9 I didn't want to use the Epic game store, and judging by community participation. I was not alone. Some had no issue with it, and that is fine. But whether everyone understands that or agrees with that, the results are clear. There was no clamor for the game when it was released, and I do not see it now either. I guess the fundamental question is whether CA is willing to accept money to produce games that don't sell well.

First, as has been pointed out by multiple content creators, it was a historical game with half baked fantasy woven in to it. Second, and I have read and heard this did play a huge role, a Lot of people did not want to download the Epic game store for various reasons. I totally get what you are saying, but that sentiment does not negate the reality of what I am also saying. People didn't like it, and they didn't want Epic. It doesn't matter if you don't understand it, that is a reality CA is going to have to deal with.

I just recently got back into ToB and Iโm really enjoying it (with a few mods)
Finally the best place for the team Radious show to all the awesome work that they can be made for Bronze Age, without a doubt steam have alot of great creators for art content, no are dream to see without a doubt, more old factions for a global map

I'm very disappointed that I would have to pay an additional $25 for Mythos on top of the $50 for Troy, it should have been a free DLC content or update to fix the frankly horrid launch of Troy, and it was a missed opportunity to build some good will towards fans of total war.
So I looked up Troy on Steam and found that it was in fact on sale and went on sale shortly after I saw it and closed the app, so I'm going to admit that I was wrong and that the $56 bucks was quite reasonable, thanks to the guys who pointed that out to me and who were respectful of my opinion even though it wasn't fully formed.
We got free game plus amazons dlc, how much more free stuff you need?

@@delta1138e Heroic edition is the bundle you are looking for, it should be around 56$ for everything. I bought it in euros but it should be close to 1-1.1 ratio between euro and dollar.

For one year, Epic had it. Now a year old. How many people want to buy a one year old game. Those who where interested in Troy last year have moved on to other things. I got this free on epic at release and it was quite bad for me. To me it seems Creative Assembly lost their way and don't share the passion for games anymore or at least not as much as they used to. If they only listened to fans they would quickly figure out what games their fan base wants but Total war saga: Troy is extremely far from it.
