The table top version is basically the Regiment of Renown and I think is called The Pale Death.

@@TheOriginalPoon even that is purple. And it's not about the TT, you can paint your model however you want, it's about the lore. They're albino because they spend most of their lives in dark caves, which is also why they don't have any eyes.

Most creatures that spend most of their time in Caves or in the dephts of the ocean are Blind or have no eyes but have other senses that are much better. Like Bats use Echo location
Like picking up Sound, Smell, Vibrations, Wind ect. U can look up a lot of specy's that are very real so even though this is fantasy, its not unrealistic for what it is.

yeah they dont have eyes and are "pale" (or at least the regiment of renown will be pale) because theyre supposed to live in caves where theres no light, therefore their skin would have no color, and also no need for eyes, replacing them with great hearing and those weird feely tentacle/whiskars

@@victuz yeah he's an albino kroxigor because in game logic Albino things are always stronger, so of course the strongest kroxigor is an albino. I had to double check to make sure I wasn't wrong and just getting him confused with Gor Rok, but they're both supposed to be albinos.

Well, Carnosaurs are the only actual "hunters".
Troglodons are much more comfy, being content to mostly chill inside caves and let food come to them. Actually, the Dread Saurian, too. They're more ambush predators.
Only the Carnosaur is actually going to sneak up, stalk, and jump something.
Which, incidentally, they now get. An advance deploying, forest strider Carnosaur with Stalk.
There's a T-Rex SOMEWHERE around here...

@@demon3203 There's still the Arcanadon, Culchan Riders, and the Thunder Lizard. And don't forget Lizardmen need a Geomantic Web rework right now, and Nakai's vassal to be fixed.

@@victuz geomantic web and nakai's vassal are non DLC updates. Units on the other hand are DLC, the issue with two of the units you said is that they are to big. I don't believe that they are going to add in characters that are the size of or bigger then dread saurian, because of the issues that unit has with siege battles. Siege battles being a big part of the game that you can't avoid. The only exception is if warhammer 3 reworks siege battles heavily creating more room and ways for very large things like the dread saurian to move around.

Because Lizardmen factions require their units to inherit the shade of their banner. This helps distinguish multiple Lizardmen armies facing off from confusing one anothers units at a glance. Regiment of Renown are the only units that don't get shaded, as they're unique. In this instance, the Trolodon has a RoR called "Pale Death". Which is indeed paler.

Units in Total War inherit the colours of their faction's banner. With Lizardmen, this colours their scales. They would've been unable to make it white, because then if multiple Lizardmen factions were all fighting at once, it would be difficult to distinguish one anothers units. The RoR is unique however, and is paler.

@@kanesideram7651 The scales only change colour for smaller infantry units like saurus and skinks, the bigger monsters look exactly the same in terms of colour, the only difference being the colour of the goldlike adornings and paint, not the scales. I have just been in a custom battle and looked at the model difference between all of the big feral monsters between spirit of the jungle and the cult of sotek and the colouration of the actual beast is exactly the same.

Don’t worry the lighting engine will sort that out

It's because Lizardmen units inherit the shade of their banner into their scales to distinguish them from other units of opposing armies using the same faction. If things were truly Albino, it would be tough to tell at a glance who's units are whos. Nakai I got no excuse for, other than they didn't wanna introduce two Albino LL's at the same time.

@@Eclipsed_Embers all feral units have the exact same colors amongst lizardmen, they don’t use faction colors. This is likely not faction colors, and even if it was that would be dumb because an Albino creature should be albino regardless of who it’s working for…
