That joke doesn't make any sense. Why would it be Skaven? What, just because Total War also did the Warhammer games? Grow up. It just seems like they are FINALLY including mythological aspects into this game.

I came to rewatch after the reveal and that was my first exact thought. Let's hope to the Gods it can be remembered as an unintentional teaser in the future.
I think one interesting element of Greek mythology is that a lot of these monsters, including the Hydra (which is likely the answer to the riddle) aren't a type of animal, but rather one off monsters. It would be cool to see these big beasts be unique units that you can recruit one of if you go to their specific location and complete their quest.

Can we just get two seperate games. One historic Bronze Age Total War and one fantasy Homeric Troy and Odyssey Total War with demigods, Sea Monsters and Amazons.
You know what? Yes. I think that is 100% fair. I for one loves the mythological aspects of ancient Greece, but not everyone does. It would honestly be nice if they could split it into two games, and then we could all be happy. Instead, it feels like they want their cake and eat it too.

Not total war warhammer 3, and that's a shame
@@frederikmortensen6321 DUDE, let others enjoy it. Plenty of Warhammer content

A hydra.
Hydra
If this all mythological hype end up with just guys dressing in snake-like costumes I'll be mad
Admit it though, it would be hilariously awesome if it was.
wanna bet it will be a ballista? That would check the "multiple heads spitting stuff", the "one body" and the "disappointed fans" boxes
@@KitchouaTembo Impossible, ballista didn't not exist at that time period, whereas Hydras were pretty common.
@@Chtigga ah sorry you're right. I forgot they are going the chronologically accurate route for this one!
Lol i honestly think they will just go all out fantasty with troy now and at least appease their fantasty fans instead of no one
A large guy carrying around a lot of children on his shoulders
And they are all wearing snake kigurumi.
look this is unironically pretty good
It is the magnificent AI based on deep learning patterns. It rips off your face and sell your kidney to be able download more RAM.
So, three guys on a horse dressed up as a hydra?
Would not be surprised.
It’s a possibility.
It's gonna be a bunch of guys wearing snake-head helmets, like from that movie Hercules starring The Rock.
"Alone in body, with audience in tow".
That would be a hydra, sir.
That could be Catoblepas
lmao, it's like the three kids in a trench coat, but it's like how they get a bunch of people with chinese puppet dragons, only it's got 5 heads
The water is also a give away imo
i thought more of the Chimäera but Hydra is also a good choice.
The starsign seen in the video is called the hydra. Case closed.
this is the weirdest sea peoples trailer I've ever seen.
Did you ever saw actual sea people tho
@@user-fb9sm7nn2x no,I saw Catoblepas
