I hope Son's powerful shooting, dribbling and assist skills will return. Ali's pass-sense capability should also be improved. Tottenham also seems to need a front-line striker who can withstand the air race. Defenders got no answer.

The ball on the goal line was effing crazy!! Pretty average debut for Gedson though, i think he could have performed better and impacted the game if he was on early, i guess as a lot of chances were made endgame after he came on, idk if him being earlier on could have created many more! The Gazzaniga save was just remarkable and it really saved spurs! Good game!

The team was better today than in the previous games. But still, they need to
1. Move the ball much quicker, be more aggressive on the ball, adventurous and run towards the ball and not away from it when are moving into the final third.
2. Grow that intelligence of filling in the pockets of spaces (between the lines) to link up when we are moving into the final third.
3. Our right back or wing back is frustrating to watch. He needs to burst forward when we are attacking so we can get behind the opposition. Instead, he just doesn't make the right runs, or doesn't complete the runs often enough either, is stingy with the crosses, passes the ball back into the midfield or backwards too much. He needs to watch some Dani Alves or Marcelo videos, honestly.
5. Our midfield needs to make more forward and searching balls like Eriksen does, be more aggressive and courageous. Tanguy Ndombele can solve all our problems when he is fit.
On average, I think they were much better than in previous games - watchable.

Our fullbacks struggled today. Aurier is done, finished, no business playing at the top level. 99% of his passing was backwards. Offered nothing going forward apart from the last pass and was terrorized by Deulofeu when defending. Terrible. Tanganga struggled immensely today and couldn’t keep up with Sarr. It helped in the second half that Son switched to his side to provide more protection but as a result we lacked forward plays that side.

I'll take this type of performance and draw than the Boro performance and win. This game, for me, showed that the team is adjusting defensively to the coach. We didn't give too many chances to the opposition and we were tidier in our passing. If we keep playing like this, we'll do better, the chances will come and so too the goals.

Please give Troy Parrot a chance Jose. I think this could be his time to show us his potential. I think he is a future star.

I suppose overall it was a decent solid performance and we controlled most parts of the game. We were unlucky not to get three points. The ref was a joke again, seems like we are always playing against 14 men , excluding the VAR lot.
