Cause most of us saw the positives todays than the actual result. Jose is still the master of tactics and he proved it with the setup. Given such limited resources and injuries, the performance was more than we could ask for.

2) Loved Lamela and GLC instant impact
3) Defensive 1st half, a bit fearful
3.1) Gazza made some good saves
4) Delightful 2nd half, very positive
4.1) Glc and son should be scoring
5) Honestly I'm happy with the performance and the entire match, and glad to see Spurs fans whom agree with me and see lots of positives.

However, the first half was by design, and part of the tactics. I will say when Spurs were in the ascendancy with opportunities to break from defence quickly we lacked ”confidence” and urgency...this will come.

Fish keeper Peace as much I want to disagree I can’t we should have lost worse. Gasaneiga was our savior today but the defense didn’t do any good for him.
As soon as I saw team-sheet, i became convinced of faith in Mourinho. The choice of personnel (unfortunately we are stuck with Rose until Davies is back, while Dele’s brother stands in and Eriksen plays for the opposition) was wise and 3-4-3 worked perfectly, and then transition to 4-5-1/4-3-3 to close them higher up the pitch and take control of the midfield with the extra man was absolutely spot on. This is the way to beat Liverpool, with quality wingers waiting behind over-committed Liverpool WBs. If not for the scrappy, cheaty goal and the series of misses by us, would have been glorious. Liverpool are in great physical condition- basketball players. Klopp didn’t commit TAA up park anticipating us adopting Solskjaer’s method against them, and sat Winaldrum in the space that Robertson left. Fascinating match from tactical perspective. Just hope this spurs on our form for remainder of season!

Why does he even play Eriksen he plays too many misplaced passes and sometimes just stands still not trying to win the ball. And it should have been a spurs throw in when they scored. This is what VAR is for.

La verdad es que fue muy buena la actuacion que tuvimo el dia de hoy, fuimos realmente superiores el en segundo tiempo y yo creo que pudimos marcar muchos goles pero no se dieron y espero que Tanganga siga como defensa y titular los siguientes partidos por jugo muy bien como tambien lo hicieron Lo Celso, Moura, Lamela,Sanchez y mas espero que sigan jugando como lo hicieron hoy y aunque hayamos perdido me voy contento con la actuacion que tuvieron hoy, COME ON YOU SPURS #COYS
The question is, if you are going to use Aurrier and Rose more as an attacking winger and not as a defender, why not just let Celso and Lamela play instead? They have more impact when spurs do the counter attacking and do as good as those Fullback when defending. Erikson is defending more than those two. Seriously, I'm tired seeing Aurier and Rose stayed up front and not helping the other defender defending. Their crossing is terrible. One good crosses in every 20 tries is very bad!

@@DiegoReviewsMx Spot on. I think we need to get a backup striker and let Kane rest and recover until pre-season. I think he was rushed back too soon and we shouldnt praise that he gets out of the medical room quick. He hasn't looked himself for months and just seemed to be overloaded with the work and pressure put on him. He needs to rest and regain his sharpness slowly. Just like how Aguero rested for roughly an entire season back then. He's been sharp ever since and never looked out of sorts.
