Just this past October, my wife and I came to Ohio for the first time. While I realize the event will appeal to only a select group, I would recommend the Paul Bunyan Show near Cambridge. the show is put on annually by the Ohio Forestry Assn. and is a fun time. Everyone we interacted with treated us Texans with the greatest of hospitality.

You brushed over Toledo so fast, you missed half the attraction. It’s affordable and has a vibrant downtown. Along with the Art Museum, we have a fantastic Zoo. We have minor league baseball and hockey. The Huntington Center boasts many concerts and sporting events. In spring we have the walleye run that attracts people from everywhere. In summer we have ethnic festivals and art fairs almost every weekend. Or MetroParks are great for walking, boating, or riding. We are a port for many large vessels. We are home of the Toledo Rockets. Toledo is a small city with small town hospitality.

One correction. You take the Jet Express from Sandusky to Put -in-Bay, NOT Upper Sandusky, which is a different city. Besides that and the Cuyahoga pronunciation, this is an informative video.
One thing you need to note. If your going to mention Akron, Canton, Cincinnati, Dayton and Cleveland, you need to tell people these are also some of the more crime ridden areas in Ohio. Those cities have nice things and nice areas however they all have more dangerous sections than the good. If you get lost you can have a bad time. Im 40, lived here all ky life and i know all those cities. Good luck
I lived in almost all these cities, including the more urban areas. If you are not hanging out in these bad sections of town late at night or involved with drugs or gangs, as a tourist you are pretty safe. I've lived in Ohio my whole life.

Worthington is one of the most expensive areas around Columbus. There are many areas that are not as expensive. You worry about property taxes but bemoan the loss of a luxury department store🤦🏼
