To put a wordsmith spin on the importance of independant media and reporting to the Tucker/ Putin interview and the collusion of MSM to follow a government approved propaganda points. For those of us who wish for a just peace and an end to forever wars, there is an absolute obligation to challenge the client media’s deceptive licensing of conflict. These needless wars impoverish and immiserate not only the victims but the duped populations of the countries from which they emanate. It is, after all, Western taxpayers that unwittingly fund this grotesque circular profit mill, a meat grinder that sucks in human lives and spits out vast wealth for a tiny elite, the same tiny elite intimately related to the political class seeking to justify those needless conflicts. All licensed and peddled as morally defensible by the ever loyal client media

The issue here is, is that there was and still is 0 evidence that NATO was making a move on Russia or even trying to get Ukraine to join NATO. Now that Russia has invaded if they lose the war then Ukraine will certainly jump on the opportunity to join NATO. If you take two seconds to even critically think and actually take history into account you'll see that you're making a bad faith argument.

Tell Putin the next time he is asked.: "Why do you think that NATO wants to attack you," let him answer:
NATO is a military bloc that was created against us. NATO is an aggressive bloc, it constantly attacks independent states under far-fetched pretexts. NATO bombed Yugoslavia, Libya, Iraq, and Afghanistan before our eyes. The countries in this bloc have repeatedly attacked us, robbed, destroyed and killed us. So this aggressive block began to approach our borders. The main country in this bloc, the United States, began to withdraw from international collective security treaties:
      1. Anti-Missile Defense Limitation Treaty
      2. Treaty on Conventional Armed Forces in Europe
      3. Convention on Biological and Toxic Weapons
      4. The Treaty on the Elimination of Intermediate-Range and Shorter-Range Missiles (INF)
      5. The Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons
      6. The Open Skies Treaty
And what happens is that the bloc that attacks everyone, whose countries have attacked us more than once before, is approaching our borders. The main country of this bloc is withdrawing from the agreements regulating security. What should we do? We have repeatedly asked for guarantees of our safety. They forgave me to sign a piece of paper that they would not attack and refused to sign that one! In 2021, Russia handed over to the United States drafts of a security guarantee treaty and an agreement on measures to ensure the security of Russia and NATO countries. The documents were handed over on December 15, 2021 to US Deputy Secretary of State Karen Donfried.
In January 2022, the United States and NATO refused to give any guarantees.

The problem is the UK government has been fighting other people's wars for a few hundred years, when the USA became involved in WW2 the American government became closer tied to the UK government and have been tied together every since. Both governments may be "democracies" because you can vote for a legally powerless person but you can't vote for anything that matter/, just as in the UK. After Suez, the USA decided to exercise its full influence and stop the UK/France from being colonial powers anymore. However the UK government and US government are tied together in terms of global strategy because both countries since before WW2 have people in power who make massive fortunes waging war via arms sales or defense contractors. The public really doesn't know what is happening and most young people are against any war with Russia. We're not our boomer parents, I grew up talking with Russians online, I had a Russian friend and even girlfriend for a bit. The Russian people are normal people, same hopes and fears we all have.

Although many people say that some historical references were not correct, it is still amazing that the president, in addition to everything else that he is responsible for and what he leads, remembers a bunch of information on historical topics and talks about all this without papers and other tips. At the same time, Putin is constantly relaxed, when necessary he smiles and jokes, when necessary he speaks very seriously and harshly.

I used to work as translator/interpreter. Yes, the translator did outstanding job. He both accurately translated everything and sucessfully conveyed intonation and atmosphere of interview.
If you did not enjoy other dubbed interviews you need to understand how difficult simoultaneos translations are for us people who are either builingual or speak 3, 4 or more languages.
You need to switch very quickly from "one side to another" to "think" in both languages. Greetings

@@BobanN-gz2gj I absolutely understand how difficult it is -- my grandmother used to do it on live TV and always blew my mind. The reason I tend to not enjoy them is because, as a consequence of the difficulty, there is often a great deal of tension, awkward pauses, strain of intonation, crutches like "uh" and "uhm," etc.. This translator not only does the job superbly, his voice does not at any point take away from the moment by causing tension in the viewer. It is absolutely stellar, and knowing how difficult it is only makes it more apparent. Thank you for sharing your perspective -- you guys are heroes.

If you understood the massive differences between russian and english, you'd know that a simple translation is never actually effective.
A translator/interpreter is required, otherwise the context would be lost and the russian speaker's words would be sort of nonsensical sometimes.
